Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
It was bugging him. Oh, it was really bugging him. Hystericstar did not hold Amberbird in very high regards, which led to the latest problem that plagued his thoughts. How could he be sure that the incompetent medicine cat would be able to teach anyone? He had been Amberbird's mentor for the longest time, and he was unsure if he had even learned a thing. So, it seemed only natural that as a previous medicine cat, he would step in on Chestnutpaw's training. He had to make sure that there was someone in the clan who could actually heal anyone, other than himself, and it seemed very unlikely that she would learn anything under Amberbird's tutelage.
And so, that is how the leader ended up outside the medicine cat den while Amberbird was off checking on her sister. Even if the medicine cat showed up, it was likely that he would see Hystericstar and flee, as per usual. Plus, it was not out of the ordinary for him to show up here, as he spent more time in this den than anywhere else while he was deputy. It was just a matter of Chestnutpaw being there or not that gave the tom pause. But, after a few more moments, he stepped inside, his eerie golden gaze immediately checking on the herb supply. Had Amberbird been keeping up with that, or was that another area where he was slacking?
