Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Jinx slunk low to the ground, trying to keep to the shadows. The cats in Primal Instinct were a bit scarier than those he'd grown up with in MoonClan, and the black tom was wary of all of them. He was pretty sure that someone was following him, and while he was typically one to lay over and let his fate consume him, if he could avoid the confrontation it would be nicer. Jinx could hear his pulse pound in his ears, and like usual, he was consumed with worry and unease.
His eyes narrowed slightly as he watched the cat, his head tilted at just a slight enough angle to suggest that he was interested in what was happening. It wasn't often that you saw an intruder waltz in the territory, or at least, not that he noticed. Of course, there were always exceptions to the rules, and the exceptions were what kept life interesting. He looked somewhat familiar, but Cinna couldn't exactly place why. Maybe he was just imagining it; after all, black cats were not completely uncommon.
After a moment, the Assassin moved forward, his ruddy russet ear twitching slightly. "I imagine you know that you're beyond territory lines, and technically, I'm supposed to split your stomach open and gut you, right?" What a pleasant first interaction.
Jinx stopped short at the voice. So he hadn't been imagining that another cat was there. The tom frowned and turned to face the Primal Instinct cat. "If that's what you have to do," he replied, voice sullen and slow like the gait of injured prey. Jinx never put up a fight and he wasn't going to start now either. If he was to die here, who was he to argue with fate? The Moon Goddess could take him. It couldn't be worse there than here anyway. Or maybe it could.

Shina had been patrolling his usual area when he spotted the two cats. Quickly and silently, he hopped behind a bush and poked his muzzle out to watch whatever was about to happen unfold. The Ambassador Proxy was in charge of loners, rogues, and the works but this cat seemed...clan-like? He definitely had a weak scent of Moonclan. His gaze turned to Cinna, wondering what the Assassin's next move was going to be.

"So passive!" he purred, before giving the intruder a little push. "They used to have bigger guts than that. Once a cat tried to take my eye out after I threatened him." The boyish assassin grinned in his manner of fact way, his eyes flashing over to Shina. "Hey look what I found," he called loudly, inviting the tom over with a wave of his tail. "Says I can do whatever I have to to him. Whatchya thinkin? Slice him open and let the birds eat him? Bring him right to good old Pink Bow? Or, worse, have a three hour conversation about how pretty the flowers are this time of the year?"
The black tom pressed his ears back further and further as the unpleasant ideas were listed. Jinx slowly turned his head in the direction where this second cat had evidently been and then swiveled it back to face the speaker. He wondered if his body would fight them even when his mind didn't care. "Great," he sighed, crouching lower against the ground in a protective stance. "I should've known coming here would be a bad idea."
