Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Harewhisker wasted no time meeting her new apprentice after the assignment was made. She made a beeline for Olivepaw, greeting her with an efficient, "I'm Harewhisker, I'll be your mentor. Let's get started right away." The large she-cat was known by her peers for having a brash, forward personality, and it showed its face now for her apprentice. Without checking to make sure the she-cat was following her, Harewhisker turned to head outside the camp. There was no time like the present for getting started on their lessons.
I'm an Apprentice! Olivepaw thought as she was winding down from the initial excitement of being promoted. Initially being startled by sudden approach of her new mentor. "I'm Olivepaw." The Apprentice found herself saying as she watched her mentor head towards the camp exit. With an "Oh!" Olivepaw quickly scurried after Harewhisker as she remembered she was to follow her. "What are we doing today?" She meowed once she had caught up, giving an grow of excitement. "Are we going to fight some Rogues? Or chase WinterClan Warriors?"
The cream and ginger she-cat was pleased when she heard Olivepaw behind her. Good - an apprentice who was going to start questioning her decisions at the beginning would have been such a bother. As they left camp, Harewhisker listened to her apprentice's rapid-fired questions and finally acknowledged her. "Who knows what we'll do. We're going to go out in our territory and see what happens." Harewhisker was enjoying the brisk pace she had set, but the Trusted had already forgotten Olivepaw was basically still a kit in size. She kept going, casually adding, "Lesson one: you have to be ready for anything. Let's put it into practice."
