Steller's Jay still refused to sleep in camp. Especially on a night like this what the air wasn't chilly, and the sky was clear enough to see the stars. The blue-grey tomcat slipped out of camp as the day's light was waning. The new Warrior didn't stray to far from camp until he found a decent tree to scale with a great view of the sky. The moon was smiling down on the commoners, and the stars danced. All his life; when he looked up at the stars, all he saw was stars, and that was good enough for him.
