Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Immortal Council Member [ROLEPLAY POSITION]: The Immortal Council is a roleplay position, but in roleplay the cats are treated as deputies. The Immortal Council is made up of four cats who each possess two lives, they help lead the clan. When a leader steps down, dies, or is exiled the Immortal Council are the cats considered for being the next leader.

- You can tryout with a cat who is an apprentice or warrior age
- This cat can be an outsider so long as they will officially join DayClan in the end
- DayClan cats come from all walks of life kittypets, clan born, ex clan cats, rogues, etc. so don't be afraid to have your cat come from a diverse background, it's welcomed!
- Glowstar's accepting of cats with all kinds of personalities, however she wouldn't place a cat in power who's clearly manipulative so while they can be cold, try not to make them super villain level

- Please try and roleplay in DayClan at least weekly!
- Stay in communication! We use the Skype chat and sometimes Discord chat, but so long as you check your Classic inbox more than once a week that will work excellently!
- Please participate in plots, your characters important to DayClan so don't forget to be there!
- Positivity! Okay I'm really pessimistic, so I'm not looking for optimism. But I am looking for someone who's happy to work in a creative team environment
Fairypaw / garden ♀ A tiny, dark bengal she-cat with rounded cobalt eyes. The youngest(?) of her admittedly large litter, Fairygarden has an otherworldly, ethereal aura to her, moving through the world like a ghost. Easily upset and always at least fifty-percent stressed out, she views the outside world—and sometimes the inside world—through a lens of anxiety and faint disgust. To de-stress, she retreats to her own little corner of DayClan territory which she calls her ‘garden’, which is coincidentally the same small patch of land her Clanmates have dubbed ‘the bit of grass with all the ugly-looking flowers’. Her family, especially Peachblush, are somewhat concerned about Fairygarden’s fixation with bizarre horticulture, but she usually makes it back to camp in time for dinner. When she’s not tending to her garden and avoiding her responsibilities, one can usually find her sitting near one of DayClan’s borders, daydreaming about all the different flowers that must be growing around the world.

What do you really like about this character?:This character is one of the reasons why I came back to Classic. For whatever reason I logged back into Classic saw her adoption thread and clicked on it and well the rest is history. I was so in love with the little description that was given for her on her adoption thread. That I knew I wanted to rp her from the start. The cute little love she has for her “garden” is what drew me to her. Around the time her adoption was posted a song called Dandlions came out and it really inspired me. I have several plots lined up for her but none of them have seem to taken off yet. I feel like Fairypaw is the miss understood dandelion in a sea of beautiful flowers. I love that gardening is her destresser. Instead of her planting random plants for herbs. She plants them for the hidden beauty she sees within them even while others see them as downright ugly. She definitely gets her gentle touch and love of florals from Peachblush’s Clan Springclan. Another thing I love about her is that she has anxiety. While that could be seen as a negative trait to some I view it as a way for her to grow. I’ve experienced my own bouts of anxiety but I feel that I can connect to this character on that level. Help her grow into hopefully a decent warrior and experience character growth and face her own internal issues. She also seems like the character that would pile too much on her plate all at once only to overload her system leading to her strange gardening hobby. I also view her as a peaceful cat that would love to avoid conflict at all costs. She would probably be the one chanting peace not war which goes against her Pravus Nocte bloodline. She would also be the one to probably hand over a bouquet of flowers to the enemy in hopes to solve the problem and defuse the tensions.

I didn't plan to try and get Moltenpaw on the Immortal Council until later in life. When Glowstar selects him, I want the rest of DayClan to be like: "Yeah, wise choice, go Molten!" Right now, however, he is still just a kid. He was given Maverick Class and is ticked off about it. He's acting out a little bit, being immature, because he is a young tom who hasn't learned better yet. He will grow out of it and someday thank Glowstar for putting him in Maverick (or that's my goal), but right now he's not a cat anyone would expect to ascend the ranks. So... if you do pick me, I would like to work with you on a mid to long-term plot for him to gain more of a reputation before he's named member of the Immortal Council OR something like that. I don't want another Bloodyrondo who got a staff position too young and thought that meant the world would bend for him.
OK, OK, I still haven't answered the original question... What do I love about Moltenpaw?
First, his family history. He's Peachblush and Fuzzyheart's son and those two have illustrious backstories that set him up as destined for power. His ties to SpringClan, AL, the League, Pravus Nocte... it's the kind of stuff that just makes me so excited to roleplay him. He is also the son of my dear, dear Poppymask in SummerClan, which leaves Moltenpaw part of one of the first litters I had a hand in on Classic. Let's also not forget that his sister is Darkpaw, the current medicine cat apprentice, who I understand to be a bit of a problem child in her own right. Simply & I have talked briefly about those two teaming up and bringing some chaos to DayClan which leads me to my next point.
Second, my plans for him. I have expressed before that I want more emphasis put on the Class system. I get the impression that most people like the idea but that DayClan's culture is too welcoming and friendly to take it too far right now. As son of the cats who developed it, Moltenpaw has always been a huge supporter of the system and still is despite being of low rank right now. He will follow it even if ordered to do something ridiculous. Sure, he will glower, but he won't complain. As he grows, I plan for him to continue to push the Class system to the point where we can implement harsher punishments such as branding and bring some darkness to DayClan. Maybe have a little light-hearted rebellion, if it suits him, DayClan has been taken over by lots of other groups but when was the last civil war? lol
I would like to give a third point to make it all nice and neat but the bottom line is that, while I have roleplayed him quite a lot, he isn't quite fully developed yet. I can't go into the depths of his personality because it's still in the works. I have an end goal for him but over time it twists and turns and maybe he will turn out completely different than I intended. Which is fun, too. If he gets selected, I'm sure I'll have a lot of one-on-ones with the current Immortal Council and they can help groom him for the position. "It takes a village to raise a child." I can't think of a group that better embodies that saying than DayClan.
Smokepaw / tick ♂ Smokepaw wears a green and blue feather for luck and an ice blue feather for health. Dark with white smoking up his chest, Smokepaw doesn't blend into the shadows as well as blends into the background. Smokepaw is shy and timid, and many would even go as far as to call him a scaredy-cat. Fighting makes him nervous and he wouldn't even argue with someone he thought was wrong. Smokepaw's nature can't be attributed to his genetics. His mother and sister are fearsome and bold. Maybe it was because he felt abandoned in Dayclan all alone or maybe he was just born that way. However, Smokepaw is trusting. When a cat shows that they want to be his friend, he latches on like a leech and becomes annoyingly needy. He doesn't talk with his sister after she made it clear that she wanted nothing to do with him, but his heart is aching for a close companion now that he is alone. Do you have a Skype and/ or Discord: yeah What do you really like about this character?: A lot of the characters I rp right now don't have much personality. I find it hard to respond with them because they feel fairly flat. For Smokepaw, I get to just sort of act silly with his roleplays. He's such a coward (which is why I'd be shocked if he actually was chosen for this position lol) but when someone shows interest in him, he grabs onto them like an annoying tick and is just totally enthralled head over heels for them. It's two very strong personalities I get to roleplay in one cat, which is more fun than pretty much any of my other characters.
Tomorrow I have a VERY hard choice to make, these were all awesome and 100% perfection. Like each one of your posts are a stand out, awesome job, this is going to be super tough to choose!
