Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
A large group of cats are selected to go and gather all the prey for tonight’s feast. While out, they come across a fox’s den. Inside are four foxes, two are cubs, and all are hungry. What do you do? It is the day of life? So do you send them off, leave them be, or feed them?
( I should mention that I only have an Elder. However, it would be in his character to try and join a patrol once and a while. If it's okay, I will gladly use him. )
Cinder figured he had been chosen to go on the hunt not for his exceptional hunting skills but as the cat to carry prey back or guard it as the others hunted more. He had been calling himself Cinderpaw, expecting that he was a student like Chestnutpaw, but the tom was quickly realizing that his prisoner role did not entitle him to a student name nor to the duties and expectations of a student. But that was okay! The thick gray cat's tail was still happily swaying as he waited for the rest of the cats in the patrol.
Snakefang yawned as he exited the warrior's den. Man, I shouldn't have stayed up late last night. Blinking his tiredness away, he stretched, sheathing and unsheathing his claws. Him and a group of cats were tasked with gathering prey for tonight's festivities but the Tom honestly thought they didnt need that many to all go at once. But it was Wintrystar who issued the order so he couldn't argue with it. Lazily making his way toward the meeting spot, he spotted Cinderpaw. "I see you're up and ready," he commented as he neared.
Polarblast made his way towards the meeting place for the hunting patrol. He'd do anything for his clan, especially if it pleased his mother after he made her angry. She hadn't been happy with him since he and his siblings had signed up for the blind dating event. This was one of his ways of redeeming himself. "Are we ready to go?"
"Yes," said Cinder, purring at the fact that someone had acknowledged him first. "I'm ready!" He was about to start a conversation with Snakefang when Polarblast neared them. Cinder was instantly on edge. He had met this cat once before already and was a bit nervous now. He repeated himself, keeping the enthusiasm in his voice. Hopefully Polarblast would react well to that? "I am!"
"I'm ready!" A pale grey Elder said as he hobbled up to the group. Greyfreeze beamed ear to ear, it's been to long since he's been on any type of patrol.
"Old man, you know you're not going with us right?" Snakefang said with a slight smile. He had to hand it to the senior, he surely didn't let his senior age get to him. Moving over to usher the elder back to his den, he said, "Let us young ones do the work."
Cinder smiled at Snakefang's tease. "Aw, I say let him come with!" cried the tom with a dopey smile, bounding over and standing by the elder. "It's just a hunt, after all."
