If nights were made for dancing, then mornings were made for Pineapplekit. Ever the ball of energy, she practically bowled her way out of the nursery. Just like she did yesterday, and the day before that. Not that she noticed as she looked out at the thinning crowd of cats. As everyone got ready to face the day, the creamy golden tabby whirled around before jumping back into the nursery and turning to the first vaguely awake kit she could spot. "Hey, wanna hang out with me?"
It just so happened that the kit was the one least likely to leave the nursery. Peachkit looked up at the other kit, sleep still coating her fearful eyes. The last time she had been woken up like this didn't end well for her at all. Oh no, perhaps Pineapplekit didn't really want to hang out with her. What if she was going to hurt her? Take her to the top of a tree and push her? With her mind racing with unluckily possibilies, Peachkit jumped to her paws, backing away from Pineapplekit. "N-no thank you, I don't wanna die today," she said.

"You're not gonna die," laughed Kiwikit with a drawling laugh, rolling her eyes at the other she-cat. Turning to her sister, the russian blue kitten gave a bright smile. "I'll play with you! What do you wanna do? We can, uh, explore camp? I heard it has a secret exit - wanna find it with me?"

"What? Die? How come?" Pineapplekit tilted her head. Was that really her reputation. Even when her sister smiled at her, the confusion didn't really leave her eyes. "Kiwi, am I really known for die-ing people?" She asked, but at the mention of a secret exit, her eyes went wide and she did a little jump. "Yes! Yes! We gotta find it. Let's go Peachkit." Without giving either of them a chance to respond, Pineapplekit left the nursery and started poking about for this secret exit.

Awakened by the tumult of the other kits, Moltenkit opened of of her green eyes slowly. Blurry images of bouncing balls of fur crowded her field of vision and then disappeared. With a distinct sense of "fear of missing out", Moltenkit leapt up and shook off the weight of sleepiness, and darted after them. "Wait for me!" She squealed when she had Pineapplekit in sight.
Peachkit had been just about to lay back down, believing that Kiwikit and Pineapplekit had forgotten about her in the excitement of adventure, when Pineapplekit decided to include her again. She could just stay here. She should just stay here. But then they might come back for her and forcibly drag her away, and that option didn't sound to appealing to Peachkit. By the time she had come to a conclusion, Moltenkit had rushed past her, and she swallowed her fear. If she was going to be murdered today, at least there would be a witness. Unless Moltenkit decided to join in with it. She gave a wide-eyed, fearful look to Kiwikit, then slowly followed behind the other two kits.

"Of course. More the merrier, you know." Pineapplekit purred as Moltenkit joined the group and Peachkit followed reluctantly. The camp felt so big, but Pineapplekit felt like she had combed every corner of it, devoted it to memory just cause of how long they were confined here. The prisoner learns all the weak points to his cell after all. So she wasted little time in diving at one of those she knew, a gap under a wall that separated two different dens. "We gotta find it. You know, I've heard this rumor that there's an underground cavern near the camp where a group of spies live. But all the queens I ask about it keep dismissing me. So uncool."
