Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Her mottled pelt was not well groomed at all. When was the last time she bothered to make it look okay? There was no telling. Pygmyprawn gave a sigh and passed her tongue through the coarse furs, trying to make them stay down. "What a bother." She sighed after giving up. It wasn't that she was depressed or anything. In fact, Swiftclan had been good for the bitter she-cat. She didn't have to stay in one place for too long and was able to hang out with Chim every once and a while. She simply wasn't the type to care about appearances or anything so sometimes it just slipped her mind that she should at least look somewhat presentable.
Pygmyprawn glanced up as the sound of pawsteps met her ears. "Finished your leader duties for the day, eh?"
"Finished? No. They're never finished," Chim dismissed as he collapsed beside her. His head fell back against the ground and he stared unfocused at the open sky above. He was sleeping more than the last time he was a leader, but dark rings of exhaustion remained under his gaze from all the work he was putting in lately to keep the clan stable and running. "But the rest can wait until tomorrow."
He had half a mind to go back to his nest to sleep, but it had been a long time since he spent any time with Pygmyprawn. And... he missed her. Things weren't quite the same now, he sensed there was still a gap between them after her confession, but he didn't have the words to address it. He didn't know how to fix that night, so he acted as if it had never happened, and they were the same friends they always had been.

"Hey, don't fall asleep here, dingbat." Pygmyprawn snorted, poking him in the side of the head with one small paw. "You seem exhausted." Her eyes drifted up to the sky and she sighed. She felt a twinge of guilt for taking up his time, but she also didn't want to say anything because it had been so long since they spent time together. It felt like moons had passed since that evening that she also wished never happened. However, she always made the effort to continue their friendship like normal even if it was awkward at times. "So, how is it going? You haven't murdered anyone yet, right?" Her gaze flicked to him for a moment, playfulness in their depths.
"Sleep? Who do you think you're talking to?" His whisker twitched as he obligingly rolled his head toward her, lying his cheek flat against the ground so he could watch her quietly. The poor side of his face was facing the dirt, leaving his good eye with the option to look off into the distance or covertly watch his friend.
"Not yet, but I've come close. If I ever snap, I think Firetooth is at the top of my list." He muttered something about an 'incompetent, insolent piece of fur' under his breath. Despite serving his clan well as a medicine cat, the tiresome tomcat was constantly testing his leader. At least the young apprentice he was training was proving to be a faithful medicine cat, and Chim didn't mind Mistralpaw's company either. "Help me take him out?"
