Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
The traveler's pads were torn and beaten by the time he reached the little hollow where the young clan was resting. There was a lump in his throat as he stood at the periphery, so tantalizingly close that the fear was returning to him, and his paws prickled with doubt. After all that he had done, would they let him come back here? He just wanted to see his family again, to apologize for his mistakes, and beg to be among them again, but he had caused a deep rift he wasn't sure could ever be repaired. He had betrayed his brother, his sister, and when they have him a chance to stay, he had left.
No, he couldn't stay here again; but he could visit his family before he left.
Wyverndelirium took a deep breath and plunged down into the camp. The light tabby stepped into the camp and glanced about cautiously for the familiar coats of his family. "T-Tinybreath?" he called weakly. He cleared his throat. "Rustyheart? Chim?"
(Cleaver - 5, Switch Clans or Change Mates (rper's choice) w/ Wyverndelirium he has no mate, we'll see if he settles here or not cx)

"What am I? Crowfood?" Interestingly enough, it wasn't Vulcan speaking, as a soft chuckle followed the dry snark, the ebony tom stepping easily into full view. Cerberusspirit's head lolled to the side, the shaggy, doglike tom wearing the faintest hint of a smile that quirked at the edge of his mouth. "Do you have moss for a nest yet, or are you expecting some sort of luxury treatment?" Naturally, he was giving his littermate a hard time. But, the fact he was doing so was probably a good sign.
“Cerb?” Wy was astonished. He knew his brother loved there, but it was like seeing a ghost all the same. It was as if no time has passed since he left: he was deputy again, realizing his mistakes far too late.
“Neither. I just... it’s been a while since I’ve seen any of you.” Wy blinked, surprised he was being offered a nest already.
"What's the matter with you, Wy?" Came the voice of Wildrain as she approached. She hadn't known the tom long before he left but she recognized him. Since Cerberusspirit was cracking on the previous deputy, why couldn't Wildrain? "You come back and didn't bring any prey?" She clicked her tongue.

"I'm sure you're not going anywhere for at least the night, so unless you fancy sleeping on the ground, I'd get a move on and collect some moss." Cerberusspirit glanced at Wildrain teasing Wy as well. Though he didn't particularly know the she-cat, beyond his grandfather, Vulcan, convincing her kits to join the clan, he wasn't surprised by her joining in. Seemed pretty par for the course, he wasn't about to deter her. Wy deserved it, anyhow.
Wy stared between them blankly. Were they always this open with new cats, or was it because he was family? He doubted Chim would be so eager to see him returned, but Wy hadn't been gone nearly long enough to think the leader had any say in that decision. His family had always been able to push Chim around and to his surprise, they didn't seem to mind Wy making a nest in their camp.
"I'm sorry Wildrain, I didn't know I was supposed to bring an offering." He bowed his head a little. "I can hunt while I find some moss, I suppose. Are you sure it's okay for me to be here, Cerb?"
Wildrain laughed and let out a snort. "It was a joke, Wy! Though, I'm sure no one would object if you brought some prey back with you. I can help if you'd like."
"Oh." A joke. He wasn't used to these cats being so lighthearted, but it was a nice change. "I wouldn't mind the company, if you don't mind," he admitted.

"Then we better get going, before cats complain about your laziness." Cerberusspirit waved a paw back at the entrance, trotting for it a heartbeat later without hesitation.
Wy stared after them, more lost than ever. Was it really going to be this easy? He found it hard to believe his family would forgive him so easily, but they didn't even question if he would be allowed to return here. They were joking around and helping him, and it was all so benign that his heart swelled with affection for his home. He had really missed them these last few moons.
"I'm coming, I'm coming," he purred, choking down his joy to hurry after them. "All I have to do to prove I'm not lazy is catch more prey than you, right, Cerb? That's easy. Give me a real challenge. Think I can out hunt Wildrain?"
