He was almost a Dvorayne. Almost. And Cesare couldn't wait for the day of his promotion, to be able to show his superiority without a shadow of a doubt with is special rank. Right now, as a Kadet, he was royal, yes, but he was still like every other Kadet in terms of title, and that grated on him. Not for long, though, not for long.
It was a rare moment not to catch the tom causing trouble, though that was almost certain to change at a moments notice. Rather, the bengal just seemed to be walking along the clan's borders, perhaps looking for a rogue or trespasser. All in all, it was odd, that he was doing anything actually productive, even if he was doing it in order to find mischief.
If cats didn't know better, they might think he wasn't actually useless. But most knew better by now.
A dark black silhouette had been perched high up in one of the trees alongside the edge of the border, the thick branch the tom was laying on overhanging the border, It as like the tom was teetering on the edge of the invisible line, it'd be a simple denial that he was trespassing on anyone's territory. With the current hostilities that had started surrounding the monarchy, the current Boyar had been sticking to the edge of said borders, in case anyone foolish enough would try to cross. So, this is where the black tom had been when Cesare had come along pacing up and down the border like he was on a mission. Everette had snorted low in his chest as he'd watched him walk down alongside the border.
His whiskers twitched in a low amusement as his head was rested on his paws, "Looking for someone?" he'd hummed from his perch atop the tree his pale eyes glinting and his tail swaying below him.
