Foxkit slowly rose out her nest, her adopted Mother Foxbane was no where to be seen. She stretched her legs one at a time as she made her way out of the nursery. She flattened her ears at the beaming light coming from the sky. Great! Well at least it's not raining. She thought to herself as she sat down in a grassy area and began to lick her fur.
