Killian hummed as he trotted throughout the territory, ears pricked for the sounds of prey. Much like his littermate, the blind tom was nearly a Dvorayne, though he was far more tolerable than Cesare would ever be. A bit hard headed, with a wild streak that often got him into trouble, but not downright evil. For now, he was hunting, though he found the task rather boring, he had to admit. Just another piece of prey or two and he'd be done though, with enough for his family, and a piece or two for the cats in the nursery, as Silentheart had asked him to pick up some extra for them.
Squeezing under a fallen trunk, the slim blue spotted bengal paused as he appeared on the other side, the scent of mouse tickling his nose. Fresh too. On silent paws, the tom crouched, following the scent to it's source, his ears pricked and movements slow so as not to disturb things he couldn't see, until the sound of the creature nibbling on a seed reached his ears. About a fox-length ahead, he estimated. More than close enough.
After taking a moment to pinpoint his prey's precise location, the tom pounced, mossy eyes glimmering as he felt the furry body beneath his claws, teeth killing the mouse with a swift bite. It was small, which wasn't unusual, given the season. He'd see if he could find anything else on the way back, but otherwise, he probably had enough by now.
