Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
The Balinese she-cat trotted along with her mother, finally having begged Littlestar to let her on on patrol with her. Of course that meant her mother was watching her like a hawk the whole time. Satinlights didn't mind though, she was just relived to finally be allowed out of her and Bloodyrondo's shared nest, and if being confined to their den had any benefits it's that she had more than enough time to keep her fur looking pristine. Even her blown out, cloud like fur did little to hide her growing stomach these days but she had come to see her expectant kits as nothing other than a blessing from the Sun God himself. For the first time in moons the perpetual gray cloud that had resided over the young Janus' head was gone. There was even a bit of pep her step as she strolled next to the river, being mindful of where she was putting her paws.
Taking a moment to gaze across the river she found herself stopping at the edge to get a better look at the neutral territory that made up the gathering place between Sun, Moon Day and NightClan. It looked even more devastating from a distance than it did actually standing in the clearing itself. She hadn't been back since the gathering were Glowstar had warned the other clans about the growing number, and for some, the very existence of elementals. She turned to Littlestar to say something to her mother when she stumbled to the side suddenly thrown off balance. She'd been having a lot of trouble with keeping her center of balance lately, ever since she had become pregnant, and it only got worse as her stomach had started to grow. This time however, she wasn't so quick to correct herself.
She didn't have time to have time to properly say anything as she felt the ground fall out from under her, only managing to let out a startled yelp and she felt herself falling. She only vaguely heard the splash as water rushed up to meet her. If there was one thing Satinlights regretted in this moment, it was that she'd never learned to swim. Try as she might, there was little the she-cat could do to fight the current that held her down and dragged her father and farther from where she had fallen.

Littlestar had been reluctant at first to allow Satinlights to accompany her on a patrol, there were just so many unknowns and risks that came along with patrolling. However, she couldn't very well say no when she herself was going. She was only days away from giving birth herself, and by all means should have been resting in her own nest instead of checking the clan's borders. As The High Priestess she was often pushed to do things that were not ideal for her own health. After some convincing, she had decided that it would be safe enough for her daughter to come along. With both her and Bloodyrondo on the patrol, the chance of something bad happening would be minimized.
She turned "be carefu..." before she could even finish her warning, Satinlight's had begun to fall. She lunged after her daughter, her own heavily swollen belly slowing her down as she felt the fur of Satinlight's scruff slide through her claws before she fell into the water. She stared wide eyed, her own back legs having to scramble to get a hold of her perch one paw outstretched reaching for her daughter her shrieks of utter horror filling the air. Her throat and lungs began to burn as memories of her own near death experience in the river returned. Maternal instinct to protect her daughter and the paralyzing fear of the water warring inside her mind
Bloodyrondo was preoccupied with a butterfly. It flitted around him whimsically, its beautiful sapphire wings shiny and eye-catching like a fish scale that captured the entire sky. They reminded him of his mate's eyes which gave him an idea. The Priest Promised had always used insect parts to accent his body paint and thought that this particular find would be stunning on Satinlights if only he could get her to agree to wearing it. He had the stunning insect pinned down beneath his paw when he heard Littlestar's shriek. He bolted upright and scanned the area for any sign of a threat but he saw nothing... just Littlestar and... wait... where was Satinlights?!
Bloodyrondo bounded over to the leader's side, tail erect, fur raised, he looked equal parts terrified and feral, "Where is she? What happened!?" In his panic he had not yet put two and two together but as soon as he tasted humidity in the air his heart sank and his eyes widened. They were by the river border with MoonClan, "Did she fall in!? YOU LET HER FALL IN!?" Bloodyrondo howled now, searching the waves for his mate's head, but she had been long swept away, already out of sight or, worse, buried under the waves. He had half a mind to leap into the water himself and would have if he had any indication that she was still there, which would of course sealed both of their fates, as Bloodyrondo was a weak swimmer. He'd never tried to learn, said he would never need to know how to swim in SunClan, but really he just didn't want to mess up his body paint...

Littlestar watched her bob at the surface of the rive, as it carried her towards MoonClan, utter terror gripping her heart. Memories of choking on water, the burning sensation, all came rushing back to her as she tried to remain calm and watch where she was headed, her promised word's not even registering "Go get backup" she ordered, turning and leaping onto the other stones crossing over into MoonClan without hesitation. Was it dangerous? Well obviously. She was racing head first into enemy territory, heavily pregnant, with no back up. But did she care? Obviously not. The only thing on her mind was rescuing her daughter from the river. The ground felt strange under her paws, the air growing much colder the farther she ventured into enemy territory @samiam Jadie
"Are you kidding me, Littlestar?! There's no time! I don't even see her anymore! Summon the Sun God and make him do something!" Bloodyrondo's paws were in the river by he didn't dare to venture further, he knew he would drown and, besides, it was true; he hadn't seen her fall in nor did he see where she went. It was easy enough to guess but if he didn't think this through there would be two dead cats in SunClan... Dead... No, she couldn't be dead, she'd only been in the water for seconds. There was still time to save her. But not through natural means, "SUN GOD! HELP US!" He called out at the sky, starring up toward the Sun. He knew better than to gaze upon his holiness directly for long, that it could cost him his sight, but he was willing to take the risk if that would save her light, "Save Satinlights!"
It was restlessness that kept Leviathan up at night, Since Constantine's disappearance and Avette's death he found it nearly impossible to sleep anymore. He just so happened to be near enough that he heard all the shouting and changed his course for the river that separated MoonClan from Day and SunClan. When he emerged from the tree-line he hadn't expected to see Littlestar marching right into his territory, her promised screeching for help on the opposite side of the riverbank. It was enough to set the cardinal on edge as his eyes darted around looking for any signs of danger but, from what he could tell there was none.
"Littlestar? What seems to be the problem?" he asked calmly, intersecting her path into MoonClan territory. She may have his respect but, that didn't give her the right to march into his territory whenever she pleased. Given SunClan's relationship with DayClan he could almost understand they may not know what borders were anymore, making it his job to give them a gentle reminder.

"Im looking for my daughter" she replied simply stepping around him and moving along the river bank, she didn't have time to waste on pleasantry, the fur along her front paws and under belly already dripping water "shes pregnant, and fell into the water" while she answered his questions, she didn't stop her search. Hoping against all odds to see her fluffy pelt appear at the surface at any moment
