Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
"This is stupid." Blue told her reflection as she toyed with a dandelion, trying to pin it to her ear. Even that weed of a flower's meager beauty was ruined when placed next to her malnourished, angular mug. She eventually tossed it into the creek and watched it drift away with a forlorn expression. All Miracle had ever done was show her kindness and Blue knew better than to think that meant she was interested in her. No, this was just a hunting patrol, and nothing more. She'd given her heart to Funk - even though he didn't want it - and there was no way she could offer it to someone else. It just didn't work like that, not for her.
Why must I do this to myself? She thought as she dipped her toes in the water, watching the ripples from the dandelion and her touch meet and bounce back, repelled. Blue had accepted that she wasn't meant to be happy and that was okay. Choke back those emotions, water them down. Herbs helped. But Miracle had told her to stop using them, and Blue had done it because she owed it to the other cat for all that she had done. Organized her herb stores, trained her in medicine, looked after her kits... Blue shivered even though the sun was beating down on her. She heard another cat's approaching pawsteps and turned to face her, her expression distant as it always was.
