Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.

( stealing this idea from honey who stole it from faith. i'm making a bunch of open threads and pinging pi peeps that replied to the ac. feel free to reply even if you weren't pined, and this is optional but most of you said you wanted to rp with me. Spot , this is your thread ) Lorelei Manina, now bounced back from her pregnancy and her overly youthful energy returning, took a day trip she didn't expect to. The city held it's wonders for her, but she also knew of several members who preferred to live in the mansion where they were. Which was fair, she guessed. Prey was more abundant, no asphalt to crack your paws, and quiet. Painfully boring to her, but as she stood at the steps of the mansion, her heart did some flip in nostalgia that just felt like excitement. Whether she ran into someone living here or one that came from the city like her, she was mostly excited to be out and about again. The door took no effort to be opened, and that old musty scent filled her nose.
Mellori was up in one of the rooms, looking out the cracked windows. She had to go and think. She was still heart broken over Funk's game. He had made her think he actually liked her and that she was different but then he just began ignoring her. She kept trying to get his attention until he had finally called their fling off. He had found someone new. Ever since, Mellori had been more of a loner than a league member. Sneaking out to be by herself rather than in the city where she had to face funk or rather any of the other members. She just wanted to be alone.
A movement down below caught her attention. Another cat was approaching the mansion. She couldn't quite make out who it was but ever since the league moved out of the mansion, more and more rogues had been trying to claim the place. Expecting a rogue, Mellori travelled down to the first level and waited for the cat to enter the mansion. The door creeked open and a shadow filled the entrance. As the cat stepped foot into the building, Mellori launched herself at the cat and pinned her. "Halt! You mangy rogue! This place isnt-" she cut off when she realized it was a league mate. "Lorelei? What are you doing here?" She asked, narrowing her eyes as she released the other she-cat.

Lorelei really had no idea what she was in for. Suddenly getting tackled as soon as she entered the building, she only let out a shocked gasp as her back hit the floor. Initially, she struggled but came to a stop when she heard them talk. Wait, that sounded familiar, didn't it? The calico snapped open her eyes and was met with Mellori's ice blue ones. Tilting her head, she didn't move right away as she was released. "Oh, hey! It's Mello. Gosh, it's been forever since I last saw you. What're you doing here?" Lorelei asked, her tail wagging against the ground like an excited dog as she finally flipped back to her stomach at the end of her question.

"Wow, you got a lot to think about, huh?" Lorelei's eyes went wide, like she was really impressed. She couldn't even imagine thinking for as long as Mellori has. She would get bored so easily. Absentmindedly pulling at the fibers of carpets beneath her, she answered, "Well, I've been super busy with the pregnancy and all, and I was wondering how this place was holding up. Even I can get a little tired of the city sometimes. Much as I love it. The change is nice. No one in the city would just pin me to the ground like that."
"The city" she repeated, a disgusted look on her face. "I hate living in the city. I miss the old Primal Instinct territory. I miss this place. I wish we never moved to that stupid place." She hadnt realized that she was blabbing on, releasing some of those cooped up emotions.

Lorelei's ears pinned back briefly as Mello spat. She rarely saw the other be so... expressive. Or talk for so long. That was normally her territory. "How come?" Her head tilted to the side as she asked, somewhat curious what she would say though her tone didn't convey that.

Lorelei blinked. Then blinked again. Her thoughts were running in circles, unable to go anywhere. "Do I?" She answered, now visibly confused as she put a paw to her chest.
"Yeah. Don't you miss the old territory? You can't stand there and tell me that you dont wish we had never moved to the city, other wise you wouldn't be here." Mellori responded, giving a circle around Lorelei while taking in the dusty abandoned building.

"I mean..." Lorelei paused to scratch behind her ear. A bit too violently as a few pieces of fur was pulled out before she finally put her foot down. "Uh... kinda. I mean, I love the city. There's so much to do, so much to see, y'know. People to fight, the photobooth, all the twoleg things. I love all that. And I miss this place a little, not enough to move back here though." Really, if Lorelei missed anything, it was the crypt and the grass under her feet. But they basically had a better crypt in the city, and enough parks to satisfy her need for nature. So why did she come here? She didn't really know.
Mellori could understand where Lorelei was coming from. There was a lot to do in the city but she couldn't quite put her paw on why she actually hated the city. "I...I just think that there's just too much in the city. It's a nice place to visit but...there's too many two legs, too many monsters, and it smells foul all the time! Out here, it's fresh air and live prey. I'd move back in a heart beat."

"Hmm, I can get that. Good thing we have both options available." Even with the move, the steady flow of traffic back here kept most loners at bay. And most rogues weren't stupid enough to challenge the League. Maybe she just had a bad sense of smell, but she never noticed the foulness of it, but knew she would when she went back. "Is that it, though? You're not usually so... loud about things like this."
There was one other thing keeping her away from the city but there was no way she was opening up to Lorelei about her fling with Funk. He was the main reason she stayed away. She couldn't handle seeing him very much and he seemed to have changed her. Made her more soft and emotional. She was usually numb but Funk was the only cat to ever make her feel and she didn't like it. She missed being numb and never having to worry about feeling pain. At Lorelei's question, Mellori pinned her ears back. "No! That's the only reason!" She responded defensively. She felt Lorelei was prying or trying to get her to admit something. Did she know about her time with Funk? Suddenly, Mellori felt conscious. Who else knew about the two of them? "Why would you think there was more?" Her eyes were narrowed in suspicion.

If it was any other cat, Mellori's reaction might have set them off to think they were right. But Lorelei shrugged at the question. “No reason really.” And even if most would have been put off guard by the reaction, she had a weird way of sounding genuine. Cause she really couldn't think of some other reason for Mellori to avoid the city. “So, how're things here?! Have you seen any cool lizards around?” She suddenly jumped up at the thought of finding a new tail for her collection.
Mellori was relieved to finally be off the topic of why she was here and that Lorelei wasn't going to ask her anymore personal questions. "I...wasn't really looking." She confessed, a bit taken by surprise at the sudden topic change. However, everyone knew of Lorelei's weird tail collection. Of anything to collect, she collected lizard tails. Weird. "I guess I can help you look. It's not like I have anything else to do."

"Aww man, but yeah let's totally look around." Pushing Lorelei in any direction in a conversation was easy. Keeping her there was hard. But she was at least easy when it came to her lizard obsession. "Besides, I haven't been here in ages. I wonder if that wall in the foreign affairs office finally fell down." The calico purred before walking down the hall in no specific direction. "Is anyone else here?"
Mellori followed less enthusiastic about hunting lizards. She found it rather creepy that their tails would just fall off. Either way, perhaps it would help her get her mind off of Funk. She only half heard Lorelei's question but just enough to respond. "Hm? Oh, no, there's no one else from what I had come across. I haven't smelled anything but this mansion is pretty big." They passed by a mirror and Mellori stopped, staring at her reflection for a long moment. She despised herself. How could anyone love someone like her? She could see why Funk didn't want her. She was a skinny little nobody. She wasn't a leader, she wasn't even a proxy. She was just...Mellori. A good little soldier that followed Funk around like a lost puppy. She was a failure and a disgrace. She could never stand on her own. She finally saw what he saw and the reason her chose Glowstar. She was powerful, beautiful, and a legend. Who wouldn't choose her?
Suddenly, she realized she had been staring in the mirror for too long and blinked. She shook her head to clear her dark thoughts and continued to follow Lorelei. "So...where would we find these lizards? I don't usually hunt them."

Lorelei poked around, absorbed in her sudden hunt to complete her collection. She couldn't believe a common had evaded her for so long. Her big paws stuck into holes in the rotting wall, mostly feeling nothing. Something bit her in one and she let out a gasp before really getting her paw in there. Whatever bit her ran off, but not without Lorelei scratching it. The punishment hunter struggled to pull her leg out, having definitely pushed it in too far. Her back paws pressed against the wall and she pushed against the wall, her leg coming loose and sending her somersaulting across the ground.
Just as quickly, she got up and walked over to Mellori. When she would come to, Lorelei would be looking in the same mirror as her. But down at Mellori instead of at herself. "Normally you find them sunning themselves or in little crevices." Though the latter didn't quite work, her aching leg proof of that.
Mellori's ear twitched as she watched Lorelei somersault across the hall after getting her paw stuck in the wall. "Why are you sticking your paws into the walls? You don't know what could be lurking in there."
