Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.

( Per the random thread prompt idea, Fox has been tasked with starting a scene by acting insane, lol. It's about time she apologized to Windchaser, don't you think? Spot )
Foxbane wasn't exactly the sort of cat you wanted walking into DayClan. In fact, she was just about the last anyone actually wanted to see, generally. The ex-Priestess had done more than a little harm to DayClan to say the least, and it didn't matter that she was now engaged to Glowstar, if she died, the leader was probably the only on present who would shed an actual tear.
"Ohh, Windchaser!" The she-cat's voice rose into camp, and with her sing-song tone was bound to come an undeniable chill to the air. As if DayClan's own hearts had frozen over in contrast to the Senator's disturbingly warm attitude seeming to try and overtake the feel of the camp. "We need to talk, it's long overdue."
Windchaser was repairing a den after last night's storm when Foxbane's voice rang throughout the camp, bouncing off the rock faces behind the camp and the tall, ancient pillars boarding the clearing. The ginger and white Dayclan warrior froze in her work at the familiar voice. It felt as if a never melting snowball had dropped into the pit of her stomach, sending icy shards through her veins. She turned to face the mentally unstable she-cat, the fur on her shoulders bristling. She hated the fact that Glowstar was engaged to this beast. Glowstar, of all cats, would be smart enough to deny this wreched creature any access to Dayclan Territory. Yet, here Glowstar was, allowing this...thing, not only into the camp but into her heart. What a foolish act. Windchaser knew what love was. She had mated with a tom who had been her best friend growing up but she still could not wrap her mind around what Glowstar saw in Foxbane.
"If you wish to keep your limbs intact, I suggest you stop right there. I have no words for you and I do not wish to engage in a conversation with a murderer. Leave me to finish my work." She scowled, giving a warning lash of her tail.

Strangely, the ex-Priestess did as she was told, taking a single step forward before falling gracefully into a sitting position, white tipped tail wrapping around ebony paws. "If you don't wish to speak, then I suppose you can listen." Foxbane stated. She was entirely calm, despite the bristling feline before her, and it didn't seem as though she intended to go anywhere.
"I owe you an apology. Though that is far from enough, I suspect, for what I've done." It was hard to tell the she-cat's motive from her words. There did seem to be some genuine regret in there, but even then, she was far too at ease. From what she displayed, there was no way to tell whether she was playing the Immortal Council member, or actually genuine in her intentions.
"An apology, huh? Well, I hate to burst your bubble but an apology won't bring my kits back." She growled, fighting back tears. "Your wasting your breath. Nothing you say or do is going to bring my babies back into my arms. My children are dead because of you and none of them will grow up to be warriors, leaders, or medicine cats. None of them will be able to find love and start their own families. You stripped them of life. And not only that, you imprisoned us and had your warriors torcher my mate. What you've done to my family could never be forgiven."
Illuminatedpath's head stuck out from the warriors den when he heard his mate's name be called in a sing songy voice. He shivered when he recognized the voice belonging to Foxst-no Foxbane. It should be reassuring to know that at least the she cat didn't have a clan at her beck and call anymore but in truth it did little to temper the unease he felt hearing her voice.
He padded out of the warriors den and moved to his mate's side immediately brushing against Windchaser, assuring her of his presence providing her support and reassurance that he was there and ready to help her if she wanted him. Not that she'd need it.
Windchaser relaxed a little when she felt her mate beside her but her eyes still bore into Foxbane's, her claws extended. Every instinct told her to attack but she fought it. As much as she didn't trust Foxbane, it would be unnecessary to attack.

"You probably won't believe me, but what if I told you I knew how to bring those kits back. Reincarnation isn't a new concept, and StarClan's likely to be agreeable, for whatever price they ask of me. If it brings them back, then it's worth it enough." Foxbane's words were blunt, but there was no trace of deception in her tone. "I'm not looking for forgiveness, and like I said, actions speak louder than any half tailed apology. They deserve the lives they never had the chance to live."
Windchaser stared in disbelief. "...Bring them back?" She repeated under her breath as if she couldn't believe what she was hearing. "You can do that?" She asked Foxbane, furrowing her brows.

"It's highly probable. Not likely easy, but if it were, every cat would choose to live again. It's just a matter of convincing or offering the right things up." Foxbane answered. "I'll make it happen, I guarantee it. If that's something you'd want." It wasn't a normal thing for the fox-furred feline to even suggest offering to speak with StarClan. In fact, it was so out of the ordinary, that despite her looking entirely serious, one might just assume she'd gone insane again.
Windchaser held Foxbane's gaze for a long moment as if searching for any sign of deception. She then tore her gaze from the former Sunclan leader and looked uncertainly at Illuminatedpath as if expecting him to make the decision or know what he thought about this.
Illuminatedpath's eyes narrowed. "What sort of cost would that entail?" He asked suspiciously. "I would not exchange the lives of some other innocent cats for our children to live again, such a thing would be an atrocity." He couldn't begin to imagine what StarClan would deem equivalent for the lives of their kits. And would they truly be their kits or something... dark? After all seeing Pandora and Bluejay, the powerful children of Glowstar's given through other means were quite dangerous, and Illuminatedpath wasn't sure he could justify cursing his children with such power.
Windchaser was grateful to have Illuminatedpath there to help her. He always kept a level head. If it weren't for him, she might have been so desperate as to agree and others may have suffered from her decision. "He's right. What is the price to have my kits back? I know you too well to know that you would not do this out of the kindness of your heart."

"You're right, I'm not doing it out of the kindness of my heart. But I promised Glowstar I'd try, so that will have to be close enough to it. You don't pay anything. I don't know what StarClan will ask, but I killed them, so it's only fair that I give them whatever they ask." Foxbane drew a paw over her ear, rustling the hope and engagement feathers there. "I don't expect you to trust me. But you can come along, bring whoever you'd like to ensure your safety. Make sure I can't actually do anything to harm you, even if I tried."
She wasn't so blind to think they'd trust her. Actually, she expected a lot more suspicion than they'd showed, and she was fully prepare to do whatever stupid things made them feel a bit more safe.
Illuminatedpath narrowed his eyes thoughtfully and he glanced at Windchaser. "Well... if we're going to be speaking with StarClan... perhaps it could be worth a shot." Then leaning in closer he added. "At least with our ancestors they won't do us any harm or see us harmed." Hopefully. But he knew how close Glowstar and Foxbane were, he doubted Foxbane would submarine her chances by doing Windchaser harm. He hoped.
Windchaser looked between Illuminatedpath and Foxbane several times before finally nodding. "As long as no one else is harmed or killed, I will take you up on your offer. If you can get my kits back, we can talk about forgiveness. If you can't, you leave me alone and don't ever mention my lost kits again." Her voice was stern as she stared at Foxbane, giving her a clear message that she was being serious.
