Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Her fur color blends better with the swaying fields of amber wheat in DayClan than the dark greenery of FallClan's evergreen trees, but Meadowlark will argue that her pelt fits in just fine during leaf-fall, thank you very much. Though she doesn't always jump into conversations right away, Meadowlark could never be accused of being an introvert. The golden-tabby she-cat's olive eyes light up in excitement at the littlest thing, from a neat leaf to a cool new type of salamander. Her form is small, but not overly so and though she isn't muscular she more than makes up for it through her nimble dexterity. More a hunter than a fighter, Meadowlark can still hold her own in spars or border disputes. She considers herself lucky to not have known a hard war, but remains vigilant that she might protect her clan should the time come. Though vivacious and bubbly, she is prone to bouts of melancholy from time to time, and has been known to lapse entirely into silence when out hunting alone, taking the time to turn introspective. She often comes off as empty-headed to her clanmates and those that don't know her well, but Meadowlark is a tactical cat that never fails to find a witty retort or stinging comeback if the conversation turns teasing.
A new day had yet to break, but Meadowlark was already up and at it by the time the sun crested the horizon. Her honey-wheat fur was well-groomed, her stomach full, and her eyes bright. She'd planned with her new apprentice, Leafpaw, to meet at the training hollow after eating that morning, and was waiting eagerly for the younger she-cat to make her appearance. What would she be like? Apart from their meeting at the ceremonies, she hadn't known the kit at all while in the nursery. She hoped she wasn't lazy or rude, but figured she could put up with everything else she could throw at her.
Leafpaw was shacking with excitement about her first day of being a Warrior Apprentice. The brown feline was quick to rise from her nest, give herself a quick groom and out of camp. It took the new Apprentice some time to remember where the Training Hollow was, which made her tarty. Leafpaw finally burst through to the clearing and located Meadowlark, "Good morning, Meadowlark." The Apprentice sounded slightly winded. She gave a bow of respect. "I am sorry for being late."

Meadowlark had grown slightly worried when the designated time to meet came and went, considering leaving the hollow to find her apprentice, but was stopped when Leafpaw hurried into the clearing. "Morning, Leafpaw," she mewed with an understanding smile. "I think we can allow tardiness once or twice, as long as you don't make it a habit." She chuckled, inspecting her apprentice before giving a nod.
"Now then, let's get started. Show me what you know about a hunting crouch and I'll fix what you get wrong."
