If you want to shine like the sun, first you must burn like the sun ~ SunClan High Priestess

Today was summer solstice, the longest day of the year and the celebration in SunClan was burning on all cylinders. The past moon had been near constant partying, feasting, and celebrating everything about the life that the Sun God had bestowed upon them. It was a busy time of year for everyone, but for the High Priestess the festivities had kept her one her toes with little time to rest. She had been forced to race from one event to the next, as the only way of ensuring that it went smoothly. Even now, she was out making the last minute preparations as most of the clan were back at the main camp partying the day away.
Ever since the night of the truth or dare game, Littlestar had been having strong false contractions as her body readied itself to give birth. She was due at any time, and wouldn't have ventured so far from camp had her duties not required her to do so. So many herbs has been consumed by the partying cats that they needed to be replaced before night fell, less they have to make the journey to the ceremony springs in the dark. She lifted her paw to examine the petals of the marigold that was growing in their garden when one of the contractions rippled through her sides. She closed her eyes, remaining motionless until it had passed, before letting out a little puff of air when the pressure released "They sure are getting impatient" she purred turning to nuzzled up against her mate Skipstep.
But again, another contraction rippled through her taking the breath out of and forcing her paws to a stop and her eyes to close until it passed "I think it's time" she smiled, even though she knew that they were to far from camp for Skipstep to get to camp and back in time to fetch help. They would have to do this on their own "Help me into the tunnel that leads to the Janus camp. We can take shelter there"
[Note this thread is meant to take place on the summer solstice. However due to work I will not be online that day. So I am posting her kitting thread a little early] Jetclaw
