SUNCLAN Faithstrawberrycupidsimplylight Blood trickled down her cheek where Sean's claws hit, the sting of the barely there wound not even close to that of the resounding SMACK that froze the world as the Sentinel continued to speak. "So you do have working claws, color me surprised." Her tone was deadly calm as she met Sean's eyes without a moment's hesitation, and suddenly, it was like she was Priestess again. What little morality she possessed washed away, and the evil that remained was darker than any Eerie demon could ever hope to be. Foxbane didn't miss Shule's claws flicking out, or that the Commander zeroed in on her in an instant, ready to kill if she made one wrong move.
The Senator moved with the fluidity of a snake as she stepped up, barely a whiskers width from being nose to nose with Sean, though she was definitively shorter than he. Though she caught the world around her as things happened, it was as though it were all in slow motion, like Foxbane was moving through water as it superheated and the world came back into the fast pace with a sudden snap as the water world came to a boil. "Too bad your gossip is even more lackluster than your claws." Her breath whispered out of her, out, in, out, in, barely a heartbeat or so of silence gone by. "Don't presume to know my relationships. I don't deserve Glowstar. No one does. Not me, not Funk, not you, either. There is no cat or god in existence that can even compare, and I have no idea why she agreed to this engagement. Any sane cat wouldn't. By all rights, I should have been killed long ago. Villains aren't supposed to get happy endings, isn't that right?"
Her expression twisted into a cruel smile, heartless to the core. "I have hurt Green in unimaginable ways, but I have acknowledged that to her. I told her that I would do my best to be a feline worthy of her. Not someone 'good', I can never be that, and truly, I can't even hope to make up for a fraction of the ways I've hurt her. If she deems whatever I do to be enough, I will wake up amazed, every single day, that she has chosen to stay by my side. And if I fall short, and she walks away, then she made the right decision, I've no intention of forcing her to stay if she's unhappy. I am selfish. I'm cruel, I'm heartless, and whatever I have done to you, I could do far, far worse without the bat of an eye. But I would give up every single life of mine if she told me that would make her happy. If Glow told me to turn around, to walk away and never speak to her again, I would if she said it would bring her an ounce of peace. But that's her choice." The darkness melted away as she spoke, a fierce light inside her burning with love for the DayClan leader. "I owe her so many apologies that I would lose my voice before I stopped speaking. If there's one thing I've learned from this all though, apologies are worthless. I can tell you I'm sorry, but even if I were entirely truthful, you would not believe me, and mere words do not simply make right a wrong. Actions speak far louder. Do me a favor Sean, and take a long, hard look at your own life and relationships before criticizing mine. You know what I have been, but you have no idea who I can become."
And the Regime was at it again. Funk sometimes wondered about the rivalry between the two sides of the family, though it was clear which side he was on. It didn't appear like reparations could ever be made. Which was fine, he was all for some petty violence. Ignoring the she-cat that hopped up, he glanced quickly at the shallow wound on Foxbane's face. "Hmm, who'd knew." He pondered to himself more than anything, because even in their short relationship, he knew this wasn't the kind of thing to break Foxbane.
Especially not when she moved to stand in front of Sean. Funk moved to partially block Shule on instinct. Even if he couldn't win in a fight, he'd at least be a decent meat shield. But, why the thought? He'd do this for no one else, expect no one else to. So why now. Though his attention was drawn away from the questions by Foxbane's speech. Glowstar didn't deserve any of this. But, not even him? Yes? No? His fragile pride was shattering. Enough to draw him down to sit once it was over.
"Damn, now that was hot." Were his first thoughts, out loud, now looking back at Shule. "Well, no way to top that. I was gonna make some quip on how only the military clan gets to show any sort of violence, but maybe that's too recent? Oh well. Now scram kid. Get going before a motivational push sends ya back down to earth." Funk said giving the kit he brought up a quick tap on the bum to shoo them off.
DAYCLAN Glowstar followed behind Chimerastar and Hystericstar and pounced up onto a branch before moving towards the edge to make room for anyone else. Her emerald eyes stared out into the distance, Commander Shule and Funk E'tan were still in the back. She turned to look at Hystericstar to study him for a moment. Some new leaders were eager to talk and wanted to speak first while others had little preference, Hystericstar seemed to be the ladder.
"I'll start," Glowstar decided, "DayClan has been living peacefully, we had a bad experience with a murder of crow that wounded some clanmates, but have since recovered. We also have a new medicine cat apprentice, Darkpaw.
Creampuff giggled like an apprentice and blushed, "Teheheh, you're so cute, no you can't make me upset." She looked back at her mother and nodded her head eagerly, but Tigerlily's gaze shied away from Flamingstar's as she moved her paws closer together with discomfort at the command.
Quickly Tigerlily pushed her more pleasant persona forward, but the tone had changed since Flamingstar intervened, she had lost most of her confidence. "Creampuff is an elite member of the Loyal Guard, she just needs to start acting like it. Most NightClan cats are not as sweet as her she just... Hasn't toughened up yet," Tigerlily explained. Although it really didn't explain much, Creampuff wasn't an apprentice anymore. She was just always so outwardly cheerful and optimistic. She was unafraid to be who she was, but it was giving NightClan a bad name. Eager to change the subject she quickly added, "So what do you do in your clan? It's probably more exciting than mine..."
WINTERCLAN

Sweetiepeach smiled, her laughter slipped past her jaw and spilled into the night, "I actually got to see WinterClan recently, when Glowstar and Wintrystar permitted us all to have blind dates between our clans. I'm hoping to see someone, but... I'm not sure if I made a lasting impression on them. Anyways, what's your name?"
"She's right, you should go up," Sean said and was about to touch Commander Shule's nose when Foxbane began to speak. Nonetheless he flicked his tail softly in Shule's direction, reassuring her that he would be fine. His expression quickly altered to pure disgust as Foxbane spoke.
"Oh that's cheap, you realize you owe so many people an apology and suddenly come to the conclusion that it won't matter. Apologies are a step, they're not an automatic-" He took in a deep breath, "She doesn't know better," He said relaxing himself, "But hey," he said with a dashing smile, "What do I care? She's a hot mess walking disaster, exactly your twos type. I can't wait to watch her destroy her life, vow her loyalty to the heartbreaker and abuser. You'll try to be better, but you won't and she'll say it's okay when it isn't." He stifled a bit of boyish laughter, his paw over his forehead in shocked amazement, "I couldn't torture her that badly even if I tried," He remarked. His exotic green eyes burned dangerously counteracting his attractive smile, "and the best part is I have front row seating to watch it all explode in her face." He glanced past the two of them at the gathering tree before resting his pompous gaze onto Funk E'tan, "Guess I'll see you later prince charming."

SUNCLAN strawberrycupidsimplylightFaith Foxbane tilted her head, a lackadaisical smile spreading across her face that was highly unusual for the feline. "You and Shule deserve each other. A brute with anger issues, and an airheaded gossip who can't even get his rumors straight. At least I usually base my arguments on credible information." Her tail twined with Funk's as she stepped back, leaning her head against his shoulder as she continued to peer at Sean with that odd grin, like she knew more than him, or found his comments amusing. She didn't bother to address his inadequate points. "If we're a mess, at least we're hot. You don't have that luxury." The ex-Priestess didn't lose, and she certainly wasn't about to prove Sean right. She would be someone Glowstar was proud of, though, if she could get away with it, she'd enjoy destroying Sean while she was at it.
And he watched. And he waited to be impressed. Though, the break reminded Funk of himself not that long ago. When he was so worried for Glowstar's sake, he was gonna kill her brother. And the more they dated, the clearer it was that he didn't really need to. Cause the two of them could get it done, without any need for his smooth-talking and faux machoism. Compared to others who so heavily relied on him, who he made rely on him, Funk was now the dependent one. A little sad to him, sighing with a light ha as Foxbane twisted around him. And for a moment, that old feeling burned up inside him. Like he wanted to pull that tongue out of his mouth so he'd just stop.
"You really have no faith in her at all, do you?" The Nemesis tilted his head. Compared to the two, his expression was stony. One that didn't lean in either way. Nah, he was led by his roots. Curiosity. "Maybe it's more fun not knowing, though I can't help but wonder why you obsess over her so much. Is life underground so boring that you have nothing more to live for then watching your sister fail? Some way to just prove your right and she's wrong? Or is it something boring like a deep-seated inferiority complex?" His voice slowly changed as he talked, getting progressively faster and more excited with his theories before he came to a stop. Eyes closing, a smile cracking the stone. "Hmm, I wonder. I guess I'll have to find out later, huh party king?" This was only the most recent in a long string of events, looks like he had a lot to learn. How fun.
SUNCLAN Bloodyrondo pulled himself away from Duskslayer's side and clumsily climbed the leader's tree. He'd never been up on the branches before; in fact, the closest he'd gotten to the tree had been many moons ago when he first met his father. We can only hope that this time things would go better.
He hadn't been paying attention to what the leaders were saying nor did he really care in the moment. He was on the leader's tree! Bloodyrondo didn't think he'd be here for years yet tonight, through that silly truth and dare game, he was High Priest. His eyes were foggy as he looked out at the sea of cats below him and he felt a surge of power and authority. It made him feel very, very good, and a goofy grin spread across his face. An onlooker would think he looked kind of demented, though. After Glowstar's announcement, Bloodyrondo cleared his throat and gave his own.
"SunClan is thriving as always. While I am High Priest tonight, do not fret, Littlestar is doing wonderful! I'm just covering for her tonight because of truth and dare. Anyways, back to SunClan. We are bursting at the seams with kits and apprentices and grow stronger by the day. We are celebrating the upcoming longest day of the year otherwise known as the summer solstice and are thriving as always. My mate and I are even expecting kits! I'm so excited, it's going to be great, especially since the Clan is thriving so much right now---"
He would have kept rambling but his paw slipped and he fell out of the tree. He hit his head just right against a root and was promptly knocked out cold, a painful-looking bump already forming on his temple.
NightClan "Did Flamingstar say something?" Skybrook asked as she padded up to sit beside Creampuff, the blind she cat had become very... withdrawn ever since the news of Soaringstar's deceit. Acting as more of a wallflower than ever before. Though Flamingstar had 'adopted' them, truly she felt more as though she'd simply staked a claim to try and fill the void that had been revealed to them. That Soaringstar was not their mother, and their real mother they knew nothing about.
Skybrook had seen Creampuff treat Flamingstar like her new mother, and accept Tigerlily as a sister and Skybrook had opted to simply keep her distance, not wanting to infringe on her sisters happiness, but she was bothered by Tigerlily's comment that 'Creampuff needed to toughen up,'. Creampuff was Creampuff, and Skybrook would not allow even an adopted sister to try and nudge her sister to be changed.
"Creampuff's capabilities are great, nothing wrong with kindness." The she cat said simply, tone a bit sharp. "But I too am curious to learn about your clan, Beestripe was it?" She asked. IT was bee something form what she'd overheard.
Viridianpaw shrugged as he settled beside Giantpaw. "Yeah well, least some interesting stuff seems to be happening, we can sit and watch the show together. My mom once said that a lot of fights have gone down at Gatherings. Maybe we'll see a full on brawl." He said whiskers twitching with delight at the idea.
Beestripe smiled at Tigerlily. "I wouldn't dare to assume any NightClan cat wasn't tough, even one as giggly as Creampuff." He was happy that she had asked about his Clan. "Oh, I could tell you whatever you wanted to know really! We don't do much though. Just take care of each other. I'd say it's really more boring than yours." Boring maybe wasn't the right word. He'd heard rumors of a ghost, but until he learned more about that, he wasn't going to accidentally spread lies about the clan.
NightClan
Giantpaw smirked at Viridianpaw's words. "I'd love to see a fight. Would make this so much better than listening to some uppity cats discuss matters unimportant to our clan."
