Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
It's been a few days since Silverflare joined SwiftClan. The silver feline didn't get the usual stares and whispers an outsider would get, as SwiftClan was not a typical Clan. The new Warrior was still getting use to living in such a large group. But if what Silverflare's grandmother told her was true, then the feline will take to Clan life like fish to water. Nature over nurture, right? The grey feline's head was high as she entered camp with a scrawny mouse. A pitiful hunt, but not an uncommon haul from the poor hunter. She placed it down on the small pile, it should at least feed a couple of kittens. The feline's tail twitched as she contemplated if she wanted to go out and try another hunting session, or to relax the rest of the evening.
"I'm sorry I didn't notice there was a thorn in your moss! I'll be more careful next time," Luckypaw yelped as he backed away from the warriors' den. He had offered to help some of the warriors build their nests as a favor, but Hiddenvein was furious with him now. The cream-tabby tumbled a few steps as he tried to walk backward and ended up crashing into the kill pile and sprawled on top of the pile of food.
"Oof," he mumbled, a little dazed but grateful for the soft landing. He scrambled back to his feet, sliding down a mouse until he felt the ground again. He looked up at Silverflare guilty, realizing she must have been coming in to take some prey. "Sorry! Here, take this." Luckypaw looked around and pounced on a vole, then held it up to her as an offering.
The Warriioress had burst out in laughter at the scene that unfolded in front of her. Silverflare needed a couple of moments to collect herself before responding to the Apprentice's offer. "Thank you for your offer, but I doubt my pitiful catch earns me the right to eat just yet." The silvery feline responded, still snickering a bit. "Here, let me help you put everything back to order." She said as she moved to push the assortment of prey back together into a neat pile.
His ears pinned back, a little embarrassed by her laughter. "Sorry. I thought you were coming to get prey, not leaving some," he explained. He started to back out of the prey pile and tripped back over a squirrel. He flopped on his back and stared at the sky, dazed. Way to keep making a fool of yourself! Luckypaw rolled to his feet once more and hurried to help her, more careful this time.
