Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Earth Approach the borders today, whether it’s the borders of camp or the territory. You will discover something new and life changing whether it is a cat, knowledge, or an object.
"Alright, I'm here, now what."
Wolfpaw looked at the NightClan border with serenely bored expression. It seemed like years had passed since he stumbled across it, angry, hungry and generally unhappy. Of course, that was only a few moons ago. It had been a dark time for the golden-furred tom. He'd just been weened and had a tummy ache but his mom wouldn't take him seriously. He'd got angry and tried to run away. Of course, the cats of NightClan knew he was a SunClan kit and returned him, but he'd stayed there for a single night. It must have left a good impression seeing as when his horoscope told him to pick a border DayClan hadn't even crossed his mind.
He sat down and wrapped his plummy tail around his paws.
"I'm waiting, o great Sun God, what surprise do you have in store for me today?"
Spot & pLuto have been rAnDoM tAgGeD, anyone feel free to jump it!
"Wolfpaw?" Came a gentle voice. Out of the shadows, stepped Echomelody of Nightclan. Her kind green eyes rested on the Sunclan apprentice. "What are you doing this close to the Nightclan border, alone?"
"It's just some stupid SunClan thing." Wolfpaw rolled his galaxy eyes, but truly he was happy to run into Echomelody of all cats. They didn't know each other well but he had a favorable opinion of her, "Autumngossamer told me to go wander the borders until I found a cat and that something amazing would happen to me if I did. So, tell me, did the Sun God whisper in your ear and send you my way so we could go on a harrowing adventure?"
The black and white Nightclan warrior chuckled. "Oh, no. I woke up before the sun set and couldn't go back to sleep." She shrugged. "I figured since I was up, I would do some hunting for breakfast. So, your on a mission from the Sun God, hm? What made you come to the Nightclan border of all places?" She tilted her head, curiosity beaming in her pretty green eyes.
"NightClan is cooler. Like, physically cooler. Look at me - I'm pureblood WinterClan. My mom's an idiot for moving a family with so much fluff to the hottest Clan but what's done is done. It's not so bad if you're indoctrinated from birth, but sometimes even I wonder just what everyone sees in that Sun God guy. He picked a kit over me for the next Janus. A kit!," Despite the content of his message, Wolfpaw just sounded bored. He didn't feel most emotions very strongly so this was pretty normal for him, "Enough about me. You said you were hunting, right? Care if I join? I could use some practice. Whatever we catch you can take to NightClan."
She twitched her whiskers in amusement at Wolfpaw's story. "I'm sorry a kit got chosen over you. That doesn't sound very fair. Luckily, Nightclan isn't like that." She responded, feeling bad for his disappointment. "I'd love the company but unfortunately, if Flamingstar caught you over here again, she may not return you next time. Besides, I'm not sure Littlestar would be happy about a Nightclan cat taking prey from her land to ours." She smiled warmly, appreciating the Apprentice's offer.
"It happens all the time. The Sun God favors kits for Janus, but... I only just became an apprentice. Bloodyrondo was picked when he was an apprentice for Priest Promised. I guess I'll just have to wait for one of the current Janus to die for another shot," He spoke of death with the same tone as his earlier disappointment. It was unnerving to say the least but the fact that Wolfpaw remained cool, calm and collected made it easy to miss, "It's a shame that our leaders don't get along better. Glowstar would let us walk right into DayClan camp if we wanted to... actually... why don't we just do that? It's not far from here."
"Ah, not a bad idea" Echomelody was impressed by the Apprentice's problem solving skills. "Your Sun God must be pretty mouse-brained to not have chosen you as Janus." She purred, turning to lead the way toward Dayclan territory.
