Find a rabbit, but instead of catching it follow its lead and see where it takes you. Today a new adventure full of danger, love, and thorns so be careful, but have fun! However you must return back home before dark or your adventure might come to a devastating end.
Thirdwheel was practically drooling as the scent of rabbit floated over his tongue.Forget the horoscope he was going to catch it! He stalked forward carefully, but just as he was about to leap the ground gave way under him, leaving him dazed and confused staring up at the bright sun from the bottom of a pit
Buttercuppaw was on the other side of the border when she heard a loud rustling and then a crash. Soon after, a rabbit nearly leaped into her paws, fleeing from whatever had spooked it. Curious, Buttercuppaw followed the sound, knowing it could be dangerous. Crossing onto the Sunclan territory, she nearly tumbled into the same hole Thirdwheel had fallen into. She caught herself just in time. "Whoa" she mumbled to herself, trying to peer into the hole. She leaped back in surprise and fear as two glowing pair of eyes met back at her's. She couldn't see anything but the eyes. Trying to calm her rapid hear beat, she decided to call out. "Hello? Is someone down there?"

Thirdpaw rubbed his head, slowly getting to his paws as a voice reached his ears, his baby blue eyes gazing upwards but the bright sun made it impossible to make anything out. The voice didn't sound familiar at all, but what choice did he have? Remain silent and stuck, or call out and potentially get saved "I'm down here" he called upwards sheepisly, still a little out of it after his fall "Not quite sure how I got down here though"
Buttercuppaw didn't recognize the voice. She hadn't seen Thirdwheel in a while and she had only met him once. "Okay! Hold on! Lemme see if I can find a vine or somethin'!" She called before turning and bounding off in search of a vine. Unfortunately, she couldn't find any that would be long enough. Finally, her gaze rested on a log not far from the hole. Perhaps if she could roll it into the hole, it would give him enough height to be able to jump out. She ran to the log and began pushing. Her paws slid on the soft ground but she eventually got the log to start rolling. Though, the ground had a gentle decline and the log began tumbling out of control.
"Oh no!" She cried, racing after the log. She attempted to stop it but the rough bark left a gash on her paw. "Mouse dung!" She cursed, feeling her paw beginning to pulse and hot thick blood trickled from it. The log kept rolling until it reached the hole. Unfortunately, the log skipped right over the hole. Buttercuppaw let out a frustrated groan. "Are you kiddin' me!?" She limped over to the log and began pushing it the opposite direction. This time she was going up hill and it was much harder. At long last, she finally got the log to the hole. "Watch out! I'm lowering the log!" She called to Thirdwheel, hoping he would move out of the way of the log so she didn't hit him. She stuck one end of the log into the hole and released, watching one end fall into the hole.

"Thank you" he called up to her. Everything was silent for a little while under what sounded like and extended thunder reached his ears getting louder and louder and the ground began to shake He let out a little squeak, pressing himself on the far side of the hole as it went thundering bye and dirt sprayed inside <I thought she was trying to save me, not kill me> he thought to himself. Who in their right mind would send a log tumbling towards a hole with a cat in it that couldn't escape?
but before long she had returned with the log "Ok just try to be a little more careful" he called back to her nervously after the first round as the log came tumbling into the hold and landed with a thud. He tested it with a firm paw, before clammering up it's trunk using his claws to hoist himself upwards
The log was slightly too short so Buttercuppaw reached out her paw. "Here! Grab my paw!" The sun washed her out, making her look like an angel or a spirit reaching out to help a poor mortal in need.

He blinked as he neared the top of the log, the she-cat slowly coming to focus. He blinked, realizing just who it was that was rescuing him. She looked beautiful standing there, as he hesitated just wanting to take in the moment, before finally reaching out his paws to her as he was pulled up onto the ground. Honestly other than the large lump on his head from the fall, he seemed in better condition than she did. He lifted her paw into the air examining it "Thank you for helping me buttercup" he purred "I'm sorry that you injured your paw"
Her cheeks warmed as he examined her paw and thanked her. "Oh, it's no problem and it'll heal. But you do owe me one" she purred, giving him a playful nudge.

"Hmm how does saving you from being forced into SunClan's initiation sound?" he glanced around knowing full well that he needed to get her off SunClan's land before anyone else found her. He had phrased it as a joke, but it was all to serious. He smiled "You were really braving coming this way to investigate"
She scoffed. "No way! I have no reason to leave my clan for yours." She mewed, waving her injured paw and then wincing, instantly regretting that motion. However, another compliment sent her heart fluttering. Bravery? No one has ever called her brave before. "But, uh, I appreciate the compliment." She chuckled, nervously. "I just heard somethin' that didn't sound right. As soon as I realized someone was down in that hole, I had to help them. I would have done it for anyone."

"and that is what makes you different" he smiled letting his tail flicker on her shoulder to escort her back to her own clan before anyone else caught wind of her presence. The last thing he wanted to do was have to rescue her from his own clan-mates when she had only tried to save him. He limped slightly, but it was hardly more than a pause in his gait as they walked "Cats in SunClan mostly think of themselves, so please don't loose your compassion. It's so rare these days" he purred
Her cheeks warmed once more. "Your pretty different yourself. Any Sunclan cat, whether I saved them or not, would have run me off the territory. I would say we were even from the last time you escorted me off but now your doing the same again. I'm always going to be in your debt, aren't I?" She chuckled, crossing over the border and onto Dayclan territory. She turned to face him, her turquoise eyes bright and grateful.

"and don't your forget it" he grinned sheepishly, playfully batting at his shoulder. "Since you owe me one.. I already know what I am going to ask for" a purr rumbled in his throat as he leaned in close "I want to see you again"
Her heart skipped a beat. She took a step back, her eyes widening. "Y-you want to see me again?" She almost couldn't believe her ears. Yet, she wanted to see him again as well.

Thirdwheel almost thought he had crossed a line, her eyes had widened and taken a step back. Perhaps he shouldn't have been so bold, but he wasn't known for his subtlty. He lifted up her paws and kissed it sweetly "Yes I do, and judging by your reaction you want to see me again to. Tomorrow morning, at the white tree"
Her cheeks blushed and she looked away, gently pulling her paw away. "Well, okay. But maybe we shouldn't meet durin' the day. We'll surely be caught and questions would be asked."

[Timeskip] The next morning, Thirdwheel has woken up before the rest of his clan and headed out to white tree in order to meet with Buttercuppaw. He couldn't help it, and he had spent the previous afternoon all giddy and excited. The rest of his friends thought he was excited about Divinehope, something he choose to allow them to believe.... but really the only thing he could think about was the stunning DayClan apprentice.
He waited, setting down a desert lizard that was a delicacy even amoungst SunClan cats. It was actually quite delicious, even though you had to get past the strange appearance in order to eat it.
Buttercuppaw climbed the hill toward White Tree, her brilliant ginger fur ablaze beneath the rising sun. She hadn't revealed her excitement to see the young Sunclan tom. If she had shown any suspicion, her mother would find out in an instant so she had to be cautious about revealing any emotion around Windchaser. Luckily, she managed to leave undetected of secrecy. She had simply told her mother that she had a well rested night and thought she would go out on an early hunt. Thankfully, her mother bought it.
The ginger and white tabby took a seat in front of Thirdwheel, her heart beginning to race. "H-hi" she chuckled nervously. "I wasn't sure if you would come."
