Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Memories There is someone who needs protecting and it is you. Be wary of the skies where the hawks fly and the tall grass where the foxes stalk. Your life is in great danger today. Put on your best yellow paint designs to increase your chance at survival. Hazelsplash completely believed that her horoscopes would come true, and part od her feared to hear what it would say this time. The queen avoided the Soothsayer's prediction and took off out of camp. Her heart was still broken that her mate, Deerpelt, had abandoned SunClan and all it stood for. The she-cat wasn't sad for herself because she missed him. She was sad because she felt so terrible that she hadn't convinced him not to stray from the Sun God. She hadn't turned him in either, and for that, she would never forgive herself. Her kits were somewhere around the camp, but she couldn't be bothered to check up on them. Truth be told, Hazelsplash had stopped being a mother the day Deerpelt had left. Now, she sat wearily in front of some poison berries. The brown tabby sniffed at them hesitantly. It was like her instinct wouldn't let her eat them, no matter how much her heart was telling her the opposite. Just a mouthful, Hazelsplash, you worthless cat.

"I wouldn't touch those" came a calming voice from behind Hazelsplash. Before the she-cat could reach out for the berries came a gray striped paw pulling the ones closest to Hazelsplash from the bush. Littlestar held them gently in her paw, before tipping it over and allowing them to fall into the small leaf container at her feet
"If you are looking to kill yourself this isn't the route to go" she murmured as she continued to pluck the berries from their stems "Sure they would kill you, but it would be messy and painful. You wouldn't want your kits to see you in such a state" she blinked her gaze only now falling upon the queen "So what sin have you committed to drive you self to such desperation?"
The brown tabby pulled back when a paw reached in front of her, clawing some of the poison berries down. "What kits?" she managed to get out before remembering her two back at camp. Right, those. Then she shook her head, hoping that would clear things up for her. How had she been so lost in thought that she hadn't noticed the High Priestess approach? Hazelsplash scooted back so Littlestar would have more room for whatever task she was doing and tried to think up a reply through the foggy haze in her brain."Oh. Sorry Littlestar, I didn't hear you come. I have committed no sin." For a moment, Hazelsplash's fur bristled in anger at the implication. How dare she be accused of doing wrong? But even though the sin was not hers, she had certainly done nothing about it. It made her just as bad. The queen tried to calm her voice before replying. "I was remembering how Deerpelt left. He fathered my kits and then left SunClan, abandoning our god. And I just... let him." Hazelsplash felt defeated and honestly it didn't help getting the words out in the open.

"so it's guilt that drives you" she murmured, placing the berried carefully down upon a wide leaf, ensuring that not a single berry had been able to leak it's juices onto her paws "However, there was nothing else you could have done. When treachery lies with in a cat's heart, it always catches up to them eventually" she paused as she wrapped up the berries into the leaf, pinning it shut with a long thread of grass "No words you could have spoken or actions you could have taken would have made a difference"
Hazelsplash looked away from the High Priestess. This conversation was humiliating and she didn't want to have it. "Just give me the berries back," she grumbled and added as an afterthought, "please." What Littlestar said was true but it wasn't taking any of her anger away. She still felt like she could have done something. Now Deerpelt was out there living in some clan probably and getting away without any punishment while she was left here to suffer.

"Unfortunately I can't do that" she shrugged moving the bundle closer to herself "These berries are used in far to many remedies and poisons important to the running of SunClan. If it is really death that you seek, it could be arranged" she gazed at her long and hard, determining just how serious the queen was about her aspirations
She took an unconscious step back from Littlestar, disliking the idea immediately. "I'd prefer to take care of it myself, thanks," Hazelsplash said in a clipped tone. "But I understand the clan needs the berries." The tabby queen felt her claws come out and dig into the ground in frustration, and deciding it was better to take out that aggression on the earth than her High Priestess, she turned to leave. "I'm going to go clear my head. Thanks for the talk, Littlestar." With that, she walked away.
- end here? she's off to run into foxbane now and well .. you know
