Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Satinlights collapsed into her nest covering her muzzle with her paws, her eyes shut tight, hoping to drown out the world around her, even if it were just for a moment. Just one, it’s all she wanted. A moment of peace, a moment of quiet. A moment where everything didn’t feel as though the world seemed to shatter around her. She just wanted a moment alone to take a breath and right herself but, even if Littlestar weren’t right on her tail she wouldn’t be truly alone anyway. Now she was hyper aware of the squirming sensation in her stomach, that made it hard to ignore the fact that she was pregnant, that was the last thing she wanted to worry about right now.

LIttlestar hesitated at the edge of her den at the Janus camp, not quite entering but close enough that he daughter would know that she was there. She had really believed that Satinlights would have been happy at the news of her pregnancy, and perhaps she would have been had Silverpaw not came in at the last moment and ruined the moment.
On her way she had picked some chamomile and and some thyme for her, knowing that she probably didn't want to see her just yet. It would give her a few moments on her own before her mother's scent would reach her. She cautiously entered the den setting her herbs at her daughters paws. Even though this isn't what she had wanted for Satinlights and had tried so hard to prevent, now that it had she would stand by her. However herbs were not the only thing that she had brought her....
"You may not feel like, but you should try and take these. I promise they will help" she gently motioned towards the herbs, but laying down close but not quite touching her daughter. She had reacted so strongly earlier when touched that she didn't want to make her any worse. She laid her head down on her paws not saying anything else, letting silence fill the air. Satinlights would talk when she was ready and not before...
Curiously Satinlights sniffed at the herbs, not knowing what they were being as her paws were covering her eyes. After a moment she lifted one from her muzzle to see the herbs her mother had brought to her. For a moment she considered refusing them but she was no longer the only cat she had to think about anymore, and no matter how much she wished that weren't true, she was just going to have to accept it. She inched forward slightly to lap up the herbs placed in front of her, wincing at their sharp tastes before curling up tightly into her nest so that she was facing away from her mother. She didn't blame Littlestar of course, this was her mistake, no one else had made it for her. Still she couldn't bring herself to meet her mother's gaze. Even if she wasn't mad at her she knew this was exactly what the high priestess had been trying keep from happening.
"Thank you for the herbs" she spoke suddenly breaking the mildly tense silence that stretched between them. It was lame but Satinlights didn't know what else to say.

"I shouldn't have done that" she replied honestly keep her head on her paws, not wanting her to pressure her daughter into anything else "I really though that you both already knew... I over heard Bloodyrondo talking and I just got impatient" she stopped herself, giving her daughter a chance to speak even though she had a lot more to say, but as the silence dragged on she continued
"I would be lying if I said this is what I wanted for you Satinlights. I told you both as much the moment that I learned you were together" she took in a deep breathe letting it out audibly "But Satinlights, I am your mother. No matter what you do, I will ALWAYS love you. Yes I wish you had waited a little longer, but I am going to be with you every step of the way" she laid her paw gently beside her daughter's letting their fur brush
