Greyfreeze had been out hunting a mouse before some squealing sounds scared the varmint away. The crazy old coot hrumpt'd in frustration before stalking towards the sound. Probably some wounded pheasant... wait, a whole family of mice! "Oh... great StarClan!" The elder gasped as he got close enough for his vision to see kittens shivering together. The silver tomcat was hesitant for a moment, WinterClan needed strong cats in their ranks, not burdens. But judging by their fur, they must have been out for some time. Perhaps a rogue or loner had a den near the border, and hunger finally drove the wee kits out. With a sigh, the grizzly feline limped towards them and used his body as a shield against the wind. "Follow me, I will take you someplace warm with food." He tried his best to sound friendly.
