Oakshade didn't even get the opportunity to start counting. That same calm authority now slipped between the pair, and this time Foxbane's gaze was leveled at the Warrior. "No."
She was shorter than the tom, yes, but far, far more experienced, and the Senator had a certain look on her face, that same sort of dehumanizing expression she'd worn with her daughter. That Oakshade was a mere thorn in her pad, a toy. Her paws shifted, and her claws flicked out with lethal ease as her ivy gaze met his. Foxbane would kill him, if necessary, and she would do it without even an ounce of sympathy or hesitation. Oakshade had wanted to get on her good side? If he truly believed such a thing possible, this most certainly would correct such vain hope.
When it came down to it, she chose Tinymutiny every time, and even if the she-cat didn't believe her own mother about being pregnant, such a thing could only be denied so long.
"If you start counting, I will tear your throat out, and even the Sun God won't save you." A slow sort of smile wound it's way across her features, the sort of look that sent chills rippling along the spines of any SunClan cat who had lived under her rule as though they could sense it even without seeing. There was no hint of even the faintest fear on her features. In this moment, she truly looked like the creature she was named after, sharp and predatory. "Stand down."
Tinymutiny's heart raced, Oakshade had never spoken to her like that but before she could scream, or lunge, or cry, suddenly her mother was there threatening to tear out his throat. Sure she had yelled at him and tried to send him away, but that didn't mean she wanted him dead. Her mind went fuzzy as they two stared at each other in some sort of stand still, knowing all to well that her mother meant what she said. She would murder him if he didn't stand down, and he wasn't going to stand down. She took a trembling step forward "stop..." but before she could even finish her thought the ground came up to meet her and everything went black
Seeing Foxbane step in between him and Tinymutiny infuriated Oakshade. He felt that warm numbness he was growing more and more accustomed to spread throughout his body and started to see red. Foxbane had brought them together, literally drug him in SunClan camp but, any time he went and did something she didn't expect, it wasn't okay? He was starting to see what Tinymutiny meant when he said she was just manipulating him. He unsheathed his claws and took a step closer, a scowl on his face. The large MoonClan expatriate wasn't thinking logically anymore, in fact, he couldn't, the element that he didn't even know he had was taking control and his mind was fevered. All he knew was that Foxbane was an obstacle and Tinymutiny was his goal.
"MOVE." Oakshade hissed but, just as he readied the first strike, he saw his mate collapse on the ground. His paw paused midair and fell to the ground as well. He wiped at the fuzziness out of his eyes and, although the adrenaline was still pumping, he was in control of himself, "Foxbane, Tinymutiny is...!" He knew better than just just rush past the former High Priestess after such a direct warning, but he didn't care what she did to him in the moment, he just shouldered past her toward his mate with true concern etched on his face, "Tiny! Wake up!"

Even before he spoke, her paws moved and she reached out to sweep his forelegs with surprising speed. Then she heard Tinymutiny's plea, and there was no second strike for Oakshade as she watched him. For a long, long heartbeat, Foxbane looked at the tom, and there was no love in her expression. She appeared to be considering whether to kill him anyway, while he was vulnerable, and it was only after allowing her eyes to flutter closed for a heartbeat, taking a deep breath as he shouldered past, that she sheathed her claws and spun around to her daughter. The dangerous look on her face hadn't quite gone, and if he noticed her looking at him, Oakshade would wisely consider that he could watch his back from now on. Foxbane didn't make idle promises, and she never, ever, forgot.
All the same, that goal had been carefully, methodically set aside for the moment as she closed what distance there was and leaned down to pull Tinymutiny onto her back. "Go get one of the other healers. I'll take her to the treatment den. I expect to see you there momentarily." Much like before, her too calm voice gave an order, not a suggestion. For all that her daughter, and now Oakshade, likely hated her, the she-cat would protect Tinymutiny to the ends of the earth. And she wasn't about to leave her now.
Oakshade didn't like that Foxbane was taking control of this situation, but he bit his tongue and yielded. Foxbane was not only Tinymutiny's mother, but also former High Priestess and an established healer. There was very little that the large brown-and-white tom could offer his currently estranged mate right now that this she-cat couldn't do better. Besides, a part of him knew he was being a little illogical, guilt was already prickling at his conscience. He had pushed too hard, gone too far, he barely even recognized himself anymore. What ever happened to the MoonClan apprentice who went with the flow without a care in the world?
"Fine." He grumbled after giving Tinymutiny a tender lick on the tom of her head. He ignored Foxbane's glare, he didn't have time for it, but he knew that the conversation that wasn't had would come to the surface sometime between now and the birth of these supposed kits.
Thankfully it was easy to find Littlestar and Bloodyrondo, for both Priestess and Promised had been drawn to camp thanks to the commotion he and Tinymutiny had caused. He placed himself in front of the much smaller silver she-cat,"Littlestar, Tinymutiny collapsed."
"Yeah, it's kind of obvious." Bloodyrondo said which of course won him a glare. The ginger tom didn't say anything else; he was happy to let Littlestar take care of it.

Littlestar sighed, she probably should have known that Foxbane had been involved in the rucus some how. She dipped her head to her former mentor moving forward and placing her paw gently on the she-cat's neck to check her pulse while watching her sides rise and fall. She gently pinched the scruff of her neck pulling upwards and watched as is slowly descended back into place taking several seconds. Next her paws drifted to her belly, before looking up at Foxbane knowingly. Now probably wasn't the best time to reveal that she was pregnant, and having not heard what had caused the fight in the first place she put it on the back burner "She will be alright, just a combination dehydration and stress. We should move her into the treatment den where it is cooler until she wakes up. But more importantly" she looked over to where Oakshade was standing her gaze narrowing "no more fighting, she needs to remain calm and rest for a little while"
"Yes, Littlestar." Oakshade bowed his head, relieved that his mate was just exhausted not actually sick. He gave her a lick on the top of her head, taming a stray tuft of fur, then turned his hazel eyes back to the leader. He wasn't quite sharp enough to catch that knowing look at the High Priestess had shared with Foxbane but he wasn't going to beat around the bush, "Foxbane said she is pregnant."

"and you don't trust her judgement" she replied simply, looking up from her patient to meet his eyes "Foxbane may be a lot of things, but she is an experienced healer" she paused brushing off some of debris from Tinymutiny's side onto the dirt below. There were a lot of unknowns... How far along was she? How many kits was she carrying? She wasn't really showing yet, which meant it was early on in her pregnancy... However, the symptoms she was displaying usually didn't develop until further along, other than the nausea. It was a little bit on an enigma, but the one thing that she was sure of was that there were kits inside of the she-cat before her "Yes she is pregnant" her gaze met his, before looking over to Foxbane "I will let you to take her back to the treatment den" with herself heavily pregnant it wasn't a good idea to be lifting anything that heavy, even if Tinymutiny was small she was still a full grown warrior. "Just mind your tongue when you are around her, and try to keep her stress levels down"
It meant a lot more hearing it from Littlestar since she clearly didn't have any ulterior motives. Oakshade was saddened that Tinymutiny hadn't reacted well to the though, but surely she would come around with time, being a father was something he had always wanted to do and he hoped his excitement was enough to carry the both of them, "Thank you, Littlestar." He said simply, picking up Tinymutiny gently by her scruff then slinging her over his shoulders. He carried her up the the very same nest that Cypressblaze had laid in when she joined SunClan and actually laid down himself before moving her into the small space across his stomach and between his front legs. She fit like a puzzle piece and he immediately when to work grooming her fur rhythmically, which he would continue to do until he himself dozed off.
(we can time skip to her waking up or stop here, it's your call <3)

Tinymutiny slowly woke, snuggling in closer to the warm furry nest below her. It felt so gentle against her ore stomach, and soft against her cheek... wait... fur?... Tnymutiny's eyes snapped open, jerking her head upwards and pushing upwards only to find herself entangled in his giant paws and being pulled closer. But as his scent reached her nose she relaxed into his embrace, giving into the force that held her in place. "Oakshade..." she blinked rather confused about how she found herself in this current position when the last thing she remembered had been him and Foxbane about to fight. "I believe I told you to stop coddling me" she added firmly after a few moments of silence, but she didn't push away this time.
Oakshade dismissed his mate's words and just curled up around her tighter than before, unwilling to let her out of the nest, "This nest is awfully comfortable. Do you think Littlestar will let me make a big one like this in the nursery for us to share?" He yawned, his eyes still closed, "I don't know how some toms do it. Sleeping for moons in the Warrior's den instead of at their mate's side. But I guess to each his own." He rested his muzzle into Tinymutiny's shoulder, making her into his pillow, and yawned again. He soon drifted back to sleep although he never did stop purring up a storm.
