hey! my name is rachel and you can call me either that or sleepy cause gosh i really am tired most of the time. i’m 20 years old and i love to draw and write in my free time. i’m absolutely obsessed with cats and also my hamster who is the love of my life. animal crossing is a current passion of mine though i’ll be honest my island isn’t that cute but i’m trying. i’m also trying to become a tattoo apprentice currently and i’m building up my portfolio to hopefully make that all work out!
Icestep is a large, very muscular tom cat with a bright white pelt. His eyes are a dull blue color, much like cloudy water where some dirt has been disturbed underneath. Despite him already being an overbearing sized cat, his paws are even too big for him, oftentimes causing him to be clumsy. He has always had trouble making friends due to his intimidating nature and many don’t realize that he is actually a gentle giant. He was raised by two very strict parents who pushed him hard and had very high expectations of him. This gave Icestep self-confidence issues, causing him to believe that he was never good enough due to being told it by his parents over and over again. His parents were always respected members of the clan and many cats couldn’t see that they pushed their only son so hard. He has always tried his best to please them though over the moons he has drifted away from them as well as away from other cats in general. He finds the most peace in nature and is known to keep a small collection of rocks tucked near his nest. He’s scared if others were to find out this about him as even though he isn’t very good at putting up a mask of toughness, he still really tries
A quick witted she-cat with the ability to know how to get on another cat’s nerves instantly, thats the best way to describe Violetflame. She’s a lithe cat, a tortoiseshell pelt covering her body and honey colored eyes peeking out under thin eyelids. Her fur is always kept in order, much like the rest of her life, and she’s always careful to keep up this appearance. She prides herself on always knowing the right words to say, especially in terms of comebacks. She was never afraid to talk back when she was an apprentice, believing that she would explain her way out of everything and always come out on top. She does slip up but will always try to recover with as much grace as possible, though these slip ups and her overall sharpness of tongue has caused her to gain a cold reputation over the moons. She has friends but to be friends with her is accepting that she might say things that aren’t the nicest all the time. She is aware that her behavior isn’t the best and that her attitude needs fixing but she has trouble and her words are often compulsive and hard for her to control. Even so she does try and over the moons has improved slightly. She is now able to respect authority more and knows how to sometimes keep her mouth shut as maintaining grace is her main priority and these slip ups bother her as much as they annoy everyone else.
Dropped off on the border as a young kit, he doesn’t remember anything about his parents other than his fathers’ bright yellow eyes as he walked away. Swiftstrike’s own eyes are this same gold and his pelt is white with splotches of black covering him sporadically. He’s always been a fairly small cat compared to others his size and ever since he was little he was always extremely agile. As a kit he was known for darting away, trying to escape the camp, and talking often incoherently about running away to find his family. For this, he was given the name Swiftkit as this behavior started quite quickly. He had quite a few injuries as a kit and apprentice, oftentimes resulting from racing with others and running into things as his observational abilities have always been a bit lacking. He’s extremely talkative and goes out of his way to converse with everyone he can, often talking so fast that others have trouble keeping up with him. He’s the perfect cat to ask when it comes to needing to do a task quickly or deliver a message to another cat far away as soon as possible. He has trouble with awareness when it comes to his hyperactivity and is often ignorant to when he can be annoying or unwanted in a conversation

CLIFFDROP ---
Cliffdrop is burly and strong, a muscular long-haired tom cat with a thick brown pelt. His eyes are a pale gold color, much comparable to that of newly dried-out grass. His appearance isn't one that speaks of gentleness and through much of his life he was definitely seen as intimidating to those around him. He tries not to be intimidating but his struggles with anxiety and obsessive thoughts make this very difficult as he wants to have control over anything he can. He has trouble accepting that he can't always make a situation go the way he wants it and this can often cause him to get very irritable and angry. He's very aware of his irrational thoughts and the fact that they control much of his life and yet he has immense trouble getting rid of them. He commonly will say things that others may take as ridiculous paranoia though to him these thoughts and concerns are rational. When it comes to his family, he is perhaps the most obsessive about them. He is overprotective to a point that comes off as suffocating and has trouble recognizing that his fears are completely unrealistic. He wasn't as obsessive when he was younger, it slowly came on as he grew older, his anxiety developing into quite the monster. He has a very good relationship with his mother and has always been closer to her than with his father. He loves his mate fiercely though he is very scared that she will develop feelings for another, much like his father has.

GREYPAW (FLIGHT) ---
A small grey she-cat with thick fur and dull blue eyes. She's very young looking, a kit like roundness to her face and her eyes just slightly too large for her head. Despite this, her demeanor isn't nearly as sweet as she would lead you to believe. She's a compulsive liar and has been since she was very young. Her parents tried their best to believe that she always had the best intentions but when you have a daughter who struggles with empathy and cant hardly ever tell the truth, it's hard to have a close relationship. Greyflight has never been unhappy at the distance from her family and considers close relationships to be something that will ultimately hold her back. She can't keep friends very long and has something of a reputation for the way that she acts. Even so, she's very good at talking her way out of things and keeping up a convincing lie, oftentimes taking a situation way too far and then having it all crash down. She's doesn't know when to stop making up things and wishes she could feel more empathy for her actions. Despite showing little emotion outside of her excessive stories and lies, she's extremely imaginative and oftentimes her stories of exaggeration come from her dreams and fantasies of a grander and more exciting world.

She wasn't just the runt, she was the only one born. Immediately her mother knew something was wrong when she came out so small, brown tabby fur matted. Within a few days, as soon as she opened her milky blue eyes, the small she-cat developed an infection and her left eye had to be taken out, disfiguring her face and making her mother feel only disgust towards her. Onebird's father wasn't in her life and as far as she knew he wasn't a clan cat. Over time, the tiny brown tabby she-cat grew into a healthy kit and then into an apprentice, all the while struggling with the loss of her eye. She didn't have the same depth perception as other cats and performed considerably worse at warrior training. Her mother didn't expect much of her, but Onebird wanted to much to still make her happy and prove that she wasn't weak. Even so, all she was doing was letting her mother down. She decided early on to pursue being a garden keeper instead, hoping that she wouldn't be taunted as much for her horrible aim in fighting our her lack of stealth due to being unable to see sometimes. She soon discovered that she was very good at tending to plants and was able to find happiness in it, requesting that her warrior name be bird after the freedom she felt as finding her passion.
