Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Dapplekit kept her back turned to Hornetkit in a huff. She knew she was acting childish, but come on, she was still a kit. Part of her was actually pleased that someone gave her a nickname, but she was torn between wondering if it was cute or an insult.

The Lady
"You just don't get it, do you?" she shook her head as if taking pitty on the tom "It's a shame really, you are never going to find a girlfriend with such crude language and behavior. It is barbaric really" she shrugged blinking and turning to Dapplekit "Would you like to join me? I was going to go give myself a manicure"
Hornetkit snorted. "I don't need a mate. I don't even want one." Hornetkit did not want to be like his father. He was the spitting image of Honeysplash who was well known for his many kits and many mates. It made Hornetkit want a mate even less. He did not want anyone comparing him to his revolting father. "So, your logic is flawed."
Born to a doting mother in a clan that worships their pureblooded kits, Berryblush was spoiled from birth. Though this didn't make her haughty or stuck up, it did result in her complete naivety when it came to any ills the world might offer. The she-cat is almost a spitting image of her mother with her creamy golden pelt and light blue eyes, though her personality is much more gentle and less prickly. She adores her siblings and mother, and though Mousekit and Earthkit look different from herself and her other siblings, she loves them just as much. She had an adventurous streak, but often times lets her siblings take the lead. She loves playing in the sun's warm rays, but doesn't adhere to their religion so much as their mother. She believes in passing and goes through the motions, but her faith isn't a large part of her life and takes up very little space in her mind.
Berrykit had watched the proceedings with a mild interest, wanting to join but afraid Hornetkit might be mean to her like he was being to Pebblekit. Finally, however, when Scarletkit mentioned getting a manicure, the little she-kit timidly stepped out of the nursery to join them. "Hi," she mewed softly, offering them all a warm smile. "I'm Berrykit. Can I join you too?"
Hornetkit looked from Scarletkit to Berrykit. "You want to join them?" He wrinkled his nose. "How many prissy she-cats are there in Sunclan? I'm going to go exploring outside of camp. You are all welcome to come along but you're probably afraid to get a hair out of place. Or perhaps you might break a claw."

"I think you're just upset that your bad attitude is making us want to leave you out," mewed Berrykit practically, not quite realizing how her words might hurt someone. "You are so grumpy and mean, it makes other cats not like you and instead of acting nicer, you just yell at us some more." She nodded her head to punctuate her point and turned back to Scarletkit. "I don't think my Mama will let me do anything special to my claws, but if it's okay I just wanna hang out with you guys. I'm even okay with Hornetkit joining if he'll be nice. Do you wanna join?"
Once again, Hornetkit was taken by surprise. The usual quiet and sweet kit was back talking to him and inviting him to join them. He let out a scoff. "What is with you, she-cats? So bossy. But...I probably can't sneak out of camp right now, anyway so...I guess I'll join you on your lame girls time." He rolled his eyes and waved his paw in the air.
Dapplekit wanted to keep her back turned, but a new voice piping up was more interesting than being petty. "Hi Berrykit," she said, jumping over to meet the other kit. "You're nicer than I am. I wouldn't want to keep playing with a mean cat," her gaze turned momentarily to Hornetkit. "But I suppose if both of you are okay with him joining, I can be mature, too."
She turned to look at Scarletkit. "What ideas do you have for our claws? Can we make them practical?"
