Charmingkit awoke from his nap with a couple of winks before rising from his nest. He passed his tongue through his fur a few times before stepping out of the Nursery to see if any of the other kits were awake. "Hello?" He called softly, hoping to find another kit awake.
Mintkit and Mosskit were tumbling around outside the nursery when they heard a voice call out. Mintkit pushed her sister down and shot her head up to see Charmingkit awake. The silver tabby jumped away from her sibling and scampered over Charmingkit. "Hi sleepyhead," she meowed, tiny tail sticking straight up. "Come play!" Mosskit remained on the ground, watching the two with excitement in her green eyes.

Charmingkit smiled softly as Mintkit and Mosskit appeared. Thank goodness someone was awake! "Of course! What are you playing?" He asked, tilting his head slightly to the side as he spoke.
Mintkit thought for a moment. "Let's play badger! One of you can be the badger and the other can be the apprentice. I'll be the mentor, of course."
Mosskit scrambled up off the ground and ran over, jumping on her sister and biting at her ear. "You can't always be the one in charge! Why don't you ask Charmingkit what he wants to do?"

"Ahaha..." Charmingkit watched them bicker, twitching his whiskers in amusement. "It's really okay! I can be either the badger or the apprentice." He blinked over at Mosskit and tilted his head. "What would you like to be?"
Mosskit thought for a moment. She had never gotten to be the attacker before. "Badger," she answered, eyes gleaming. The she-kit crouched low and wiggled her haunches before jumping at Charmingkit, missing him by a little bit and landing in the dirt.
"Charmingkit," Mintkit meowed, pacing over to her denmate with an authoritative gait. "The badger missed its opportunity to kill. Now is your chance to attack from behind!"
