Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?
"Let all who hear my voice be warned: the Proxy Trials are not intended for the weak." -- Vera E'tani
Since the creation of the league, the four proxies have been cats of the highest skill. They are the elite of Primal Instinct, and from them, the next Warden is chosen. The task of a proxy is grueling and not for the faint of heart; not everyone survives this position, and many die trying to obtain it. The proxies keep league cats in line, lead patrols and raids, and enforce the Nemesis's law. A proxy has displayed utmost loyalty to the Nemesis and is rewarded well for their allegiance, but not before their physical and mental states are pushed to the breaking point.
THE PROCESS Please respond to this thread in the following format. From the applicants, I will select four proxies and a runner-up; the four proxies will then enter immediately into a roleplay competition to become Warden, and the runner-up will become the fourth proxy after one of the first four becomes Warden. Because this is the prerequisite to the Warden tryouts, you MAY NOT TRYOUT if you currently hold a leadership position. I am looking for someone who is not necessarily the most active person on the site, but who is reliable, enthusiastic, and someone I can always count on to stick with something.
These tryouts will end when I feel I have a sufficient number of applicants. Please be aware that I will be monitoring your activity throughout the process.

To be edited. Cat's Name & Bio: Mary ;; A beauty whom is clothed in darkness. Her fur said to resemble the feathers of a raven, deep black shimmering with the light of moons. Though hardly noticeable, small white flecks along her chest. Her eyes are the hue of summer set orange dancing off sand. A brown base that is shining with the color of flames, yet around her pupil they hold a beautiful green rim that offsets the entire look. Born to a foreign land, she was sent to Primal Instinct as a form of protection. Raised there since she were a mere kit, and trained in the ways of the league. Mary’s family remains forever grateful for the kindness of Vera, and thinks they are in their debt for protecting their most precious treasure. Due to what Vera has done, Mary will always be a true loyal league cat. She would easily lay her life down for the feline, and any cat knows this. Due to this, she is an easy pawn for Vera to use to her bidding. Cat's Name & Bio: Illya & Gunmetal grey and glowing embers. Twisting smoke and molten magma. Shiny silver and venomous vermillion. Those colors make up his glossy coat and his calculating eyes. Talcum and alabaster. His claws and teeth take up both shades. Titanium threads make up his whiskers and coal forms his nose. He is fire and ice, passionate about his cause while dismissive of those who try to distract him. Nothing stops him though things might slow his down for a time. Illya can never say no to a challenge, always wanting to challenge himself, to push himself harder than he previously had. No one or nothing can stand in his way if it wishes to remain unharmed. No one is certain where he came from, only that he carries a heavy eastern European accent. He won’t speak about it either, though some claim that is because he has no memory or he had committed some sort of sin and is now hiding from it. Yet both claims are fragile at best due to the lack of scarring he has. With no scars, it would be nearly impossible for him to have lived through any of the rumors. Though the skills he holds beg to differ with the lack of flaws. Illya is lethal with his claws and just as deadly with his teeth. His mind is never still and his senses never rest. He excels at silence and stealth, becoming a ghost in the shadows. Though he is still a living being, abet a poor one sometimes. Illya will work himself to the bone, only sleeping only when necessary. He is only marginally better at eating when needed. Even when at his weakest he keeps his composure almost too well like he was carved out of stone. Illya is an enigma, abet a carefully crafted one. Activity in PI: Rather low as I currently only have a youngling, though once my finals end I will be dramatically increasing my activity over the whole site. Title: Civil Blood, Civil Hands or Civil Blood, Civil Paws Plot: After settling into their new home, the lack of outsiders to fight with began to take a toll on the bloodthirsty league. Leadership has managed to keep it in check, however, they could only do so much. A hurricane rips through the island, the delicate seal is broken. The group fragments, one side loyal to Vera and the new order. The other side takes up a new leader, a cat who claims all that has befallen the league is due to the 'outsiders' who have taken over almost every level of the league. Vera having been injured by the storm is unable to immediately crush the rebellion. With the island split in two, rebuilding started. With the league still in the original stronghold, the rebels know the camp even if it is solidly defended. The rebels, however, had a makeshift camp hidden deep in the forest. To find this camp and ultimately destroy the rebels, Vera creates an order of spies. Charged with infiltrating the camp and sending back information, the spies find a struggling society. With orders from Vera, they capture the leader of the rebels, slaughter those who refuse to swear their allegiance to Vera, and recollect the young that had been led astray. After the recovered Vera publicly executes the rebel leader, she rewards the spies by making their position permanent. Now under the jurisdiction of the Assassin and the Successor, they are sent off the island to keep watch over the clans left behind, gathering up information for the benefit of the league.
Cat's Name & Bio: Solaris At first glance, Solaris is an impressive and intimidating figure. A domineering tom, his frame is larger than average and well muscled under his burnt orange fur. His features are shapely and handsome, despite missing half an ear. His eyes are a piercing and unreadable amber, with narrow slits for pupils. But despite drawing eyes wherever he walks, Solaris is surprisingly taciturn. He'd much rather listen than speak, and it takes a decent amount of provocation before he opens his mouth. He prefers this; prefers being apathetic and quiet, keeping his face in an impassive mask as he observes the world around him. When he does speak, his words are measured and slow, his pitch deep and commanding. His contemplative and assured nature are not a pass to double cross this tom though, as he is one to notice slights against him and hold grudges- he just bides his time in his revenge. Several of his outspoken enemies have mysteriously disappeared over the years, allowing him to climb the social ranks of the League. This isn't unmerited though- Solaris has a formidable battle history, a hardened and calculated fighter with no reservations about spilling blood. His broad frame gives him a fearsome strength, even if he has to compensate for his slower speed. This, combined with his unfaltering loyalty to the League, where he grew up after his rogue parents joined, makes him a well-known Hunter and command a certain respect (if that can be found within Primal Instinct) from the cats around him. picture
Activity in PI: Currently 0, seeing as I have no cats in PI and just finished my fall semester. But I am planning on getting this up!
Roleplay Example: The day hung somewhere between warm and cold, as though it wasn't sure which season it was anymore. Solaris stood alone outside of camp, nose tilted up and mouth unhinged slightly to catch the prey-scent that drifted along on a lazy breeze. The broad tom had decided to hunt alone today, as it was one of those days where he somehow wasn't scheduled for other duties. His immense paws rose and fell as he shifted into motion, slinking into the shrubbery in pursuit of a distinctive vole smell. He was admittedly better at fighting that hunting, as his build limited the level of stealth he could achieve, but he had never lacked in the skill. As quietly as his body allowed, he pulled himself along the heady-scented earth, tracing the origin of the prey smell. He eventually slowed to a stop, one paw lifting off the ground to dart into a shallow hole, and he quickly extracted a writhing vole, silencing its squeaks with a swift bite.

Chapter 6: Ash and Bone Arriving in warmer southern lands, Primal Instincts expect to find plentiful prey- after all, that's why they left in the first place. However, the southern lands may abound in prey, but they hold a more dire enemy- disease. An ancient plague is stirred by the arrival of new cats, and while the League is well-fed, they're dropping like flies. Tensions run high, suspicion and paranoia abound, and anyone could be infected. Will the ranks of Primal Instinct pull together to figure out a cure, or will they be eaten alive by an unseen enemy?
