Littlestar
SunClan High Priestess
The Peace Keeper
It had been far to long since Littlestar and Bloodyrondo had been on good terms. Ever since the mate choosing ceremony, the two of them had been at odds. Words had been exchanged, and she had even went as far as to demote him from his high position in the clan to a mere initiate to keep him away from Satinlights long enough for her to mature physically. Even though her daughter had forgiven her, Bloodyrondo had not... Not that Littlestar had really given him many opportunities to speak since that day.
She hoped that one day he would understand, that a mother's love for her child outweighed any other emotion. That what she had done, had come from wanting to protect Satinlights, but also to protect him. Even though being demoted had hurt him deeply, at least it would cause him to hate her instead of himself.
However, the time had come to make good on her promise to Satinlights. The deal had been that when she was old enough to physically carry kits of her own, that she would step aside and give the couple her blessing to be together. In the upcoming ceremonies her entire litter would promoted to warriors, and officially old enough to start families of their own. Bloodyrondo had also proven that despite her own reservations, that he was dedicated to Satinlights and becoming her mate.
So Littlestar has sent a messenger, asking him to join her at the ceremony springs alone.
Bloodyrondo hadn't been in SunClan camp more than a few minutes when a messenger approached him and told him to meet Littlestar at the Ceremony Springs. At first he wanted to deny the summons - after all, he had just finished dealing with the whole crow fiasco in DayClan and really just wanted to curl up in his nest and get some rest - but it wasn't like he could actually do that anyway with his brother still playing Priest Promised. So, he had gritted is teeth and exited the main camp, his eyes on the burning red waters in the distance. He just felt... numb. Empty. Running on steam.
"Littlestar," Bloodyrondo bowed his head when he saw his High Priestess. It was a little lack-luster but honest, much like the expression he wore on his face. Wanheda's borrowed powers didn't work here so he couldn't even glamour himself to look beautiful and powerful. If he was honest with himself, though, he probably wouldn't have anyway. He didn't care what Littlestar thought of him and if a side-effect of that was making her feel a little guilty then so be it, "To what do I owe the honor?"
His voice cracked at the end, surprising even himself. He tensed and averted his eyes. Bloodyrondo hadn't expected being alone with Littlestar to get to him but now that he was here he was sort of having a hard time holding it together. He was reminded him of fonder times when they were still a team. It didn't seem like it had been that long since the two of them had spent hours preparing fertility herbs for the Romance Festival...

Littlestar
SunClan High Priestess
The Peace Keeper
Littlestar stood atop the hill in the center of the ceremony springs, the sun bright behind her making the subtle golds woven throughout her fur glimmer as he moved up the hill towards her. It was were the high priestess stood for ceremonies, a position of power where you looked down upon all those below you with the full glory of the sun on display. She rose to her paws as he approached, golden eyes gazing down upon him
How did one start? An apology at this point seemed out of place, even if she had he wouldn't have accepted it. Giving her blessing? Hah that would go over well. She stood there for a moment, taking in his haphazard appearance before take a step forward and brushing some debris from his shoulder, like a mother fussing over her child's apperance "Bloodyrondo it's time for you to come home"
Bloodyrondo let Littlestar swipe the debris from his shoulder but he took a step away from her when she was done, his eyes not yet trusting. Up close now she would be able to tell that he was covered in all sorts of tiny scratches and wounds with the most predominate one being a nasty scab right on the middle of his forehead. He usually covered it with glamour or body paint but presently he appeared before her as bare as an initiate as he had been moments away from retiring to bed before he had been summoned.
"I've always been here," He replied haughtily, "If you are trying to tell me something then be more direct. I've done nothing but play games lately and I'm sick of it."
The ginger tom wouldn't meet Littlestar's eyes, though, and his tail was low to the ground. He was ready for their differences to be water under the bridge, too, but he wasn't mature enough to make the first move.

Littlestar could see the scabs that covered his body, though she didn't dare ask after it was her that had driven him away in the first place "I mean exactly what I said, it is time for you to come home. Your place is here in SunClan at my side" she paused hoping that he would be able to pick up on the sincerity of her tone. As much as she had tried to deny it she had missed him, despite the wounds he had inflicted upon her.
"I understand if you don't want to forgive me, but there is someone else waiting on you" she stopped looking up towards the sun giving a silent prayer to fill her mouth with the right words "No matter how I have felt about it, you have proven over and over again that you are dedicated to my daughter. You have taken everything that I have thrown at you, and never wavered in your love for her. Perhaps one day when you are a father yourself you will understand why I acted in a such a manner..."
She took in a deep breathe "But for now, I supposed this will have to suffice. You have my blessing to continue your pursuit of a relationship with Satinlights. No more hiding or sneaking around, I will not stand between the two of you any longer"
A look of surprise flashed across his face but it was only for a moment. He realized that what Littlestar was saying wasn't quite an apology but it was the closest he was going to get. Bloodyrondo would have called out any other cat for not just saying the two easy words 'I'm sorry,' but he had learned that being so spicy all the time was only going to get him into another fight. Sometimes he wanted that, sure, but in this case he genuinely wanted resolution. It was high time that he took back the position that was rightfully his and rejoined the leadership of SunClan.
He opened his mouth to accept Littlestar's invitation back to her side but held his tongue at the mention of 'someone else waiting' for him. Satinlights, of course, she was the beginning of the rift between Priestess and Promised. He wouldn't admit that he was wrong in choosing her as his mate at her young age. Picking her then versus picking her now didn't change how the two felt about each other. That being said... yeah, maybe he had been a little pushy about it... Satinlights and him had a connection for sure but even Nikkohydrangea told him to wait. Bloodyrondo had just been so concerned about that fairytale moment of declaring his mate at the official Mate Choosing Ceremony that he had bypassed the rules he didn't like to make it happen.
"Thank you," Bloodyrondo replied, meeting Littlestar's golden eyes now. His own held fire that had been absent up until now but it wasn't the kind that would burn you, "... I don't agree with everything you did or said... or any of it, actually... but I love Satinlights and I love SunClan. Everything I do is in the best interests for both of them. I do respect you as High Priestess, despite it all," after having spent so much time with Glowstar recently, he now knew just how lucky he was to have a capable leader like Littlestar, "so I'll accept your invitation back to your side."
