The moon hung high in the sky, it’s half shape still illuminating the open moor in a cool light. It was on nights like tonight, where the absence of the sun, cooled the unusually hot new-leaf air to a more pleasant temperature. With the sudden heat wave that plagued the forest clans lately, he found himself even more thankful that MoonClan cats were nocturnal, that didn’t save him from cooking in his nest when he slept during the day however, and his not so short fur didn’t help much.
