Luminescence stood dumbstruck for a few moments before speaking," That was amazing Hywel! You just darted in like a flash...like lightening and then bwoosh caught it! I mean they are slippery so its understandable why it would be hard to hold but wow...that was amazing!!!" The toms eyes shone with wonder and admiration, this was one cool cat he bumped into!

He chuckled, face flushing at the other cat's compliments. "Thanks," he smiled, "I'm just glad I didn't accidentally let it slip back into the water, you know?" At least he could bring something back to camp instead of the usual sneaking back in. Frankly, he was the lazy type most of the time, staying on the sidelines and still fending for himself. He had never been a group kind of cat after all.

Luminescence chuckled,"Yeah I know what you mean. Anytime I actually try to show off on anything it always back fires. I once tried to impress some kits showing them how to crawl and tripped over my own tail. Even now they make sure I remember that and start tripping over their own tails." The small tom noted to himself to never try to show off intentionally in front of Hywel, anything he would do would bound back on him ten fold...he just knew it.

He laughed at that. "Oh trust me, I've done that a lot, especially when my sister was younger. Tried to teach her how to hunt after I caught my first mouse...let's just say it didn't turn out very well." He shrugged. "But you never know until you try, right?"

"Very true..." as soon as the words left his tounge Luminescence caught sight of a fish down below, just barley seen in the moonlight. Quickly getting low the tom paused for a moment then dove straight into the waters. Woops...although he fell into the lake it seemed he caught his prize (just barley though.) Getting out of the water the cat dripped his fur clung onto his body making him even smaller looking than ever before. The fish wiggled and flopped in his mouth as he dropped it with their load.
"Ah well...caught a fish but just a wee bit wet haha." He shook hard, trying to release as much water as possible off him. "You know we may have just enough food that'll pass for a hunt from us tonight." Luminescence gave a chuckle to that as water still barley dripped off his whiskers.

Hywel watched in surprise as the cat slipped into the water, coming back up soaking wet. He had been a little alarmed at first, wondering if Luminescence knew how to swim properly, but it seemed his fears were for nought when he came back up. A laugh left his mouth, surprised and amused at the same time.
"Yeah, I think so," he grinned, before giving him a sympathetic look, "you sure you're not going to be cold? Gods, I thought you were about to drown for a second when I saw you just jump right in."

"I probably should have said something before hand, that was my bad. Its a bit chilly out but nothing I can't handle." In actuality the tom WAS getting cold but he definitely did not want to admit it. He was however happy that he somewhat impressed Hywel.

Hywel shrugged. "I mean come over, we can share some warmth," he laughed, before giving the other cat a small smile, "if you don't mind at least." He wasn't sure if cats around here were as touchy as he was when it was just his family. Family shared warmth and groomed one another and all, but the clan was so big sometimes, he wondered if others felt the same closeness to one another as he did with his sister.

"S-sure," a very slight stutter came from Luminescence. Be it from the cold or slight nervousness he wasn't quite sure, however he walked over to the tom only somewhat shivering. It's definitely from the cold, he thought to himself, there was nothing wrong with a friend helping another friend to dry off and warm up.
