Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Thistlepaw bounded toward the medicine den, tail flying out behind her. The evening light glinted off of her orange fur, giving her the appearance of a flame. She skidded to a halt outside the tiny den, digging her claws into the ground to slow down.
"Sunpaw," she called out excitedly, tail flicking playfully. "Stop snorting those herbs and come out here!"
The she-cat had just learned a fighting maneuver and she was thrilled to show it to her sister, someone she cared for deeply and wanted to impress. She hoped the medicine cat apprentice was there.
_ ooc; I read through sunpaw's bio on ur char thread so I could get a better sense of her; thistle is on my character thread or on the smc joining thread if you want to see her personality too. we didn't really talk about the relationship b/w them so I just sort of decided thistle thinks she's close w/ her sister, regardless of what sunpaw feels haha. @peepingpeeper
It had been a rather quiet day, with Sunpaw being left alone to her own devices in the medicine-cat's den. She mostly enjoyed quiet moments, able to clearly hear and feel everything around her. She was feeling a very light blue, the colour floating across her vision like a soft mist. Pink swirled within the depths.
Her ears perked up at the first sign of a new voice. Voices were not uncommon--the sounds of the camp clearly drifted into the den--but this one was familiar. Her tail immediately began to wave, a smile blossomed on her face. Momentarily forgetting her job of sorting through the herbs, she turned towards the voice. A small, quiet laugh escaped through her throat.
"Burrbush!" She peeked her head out of the den, catching sight of her sister's brilliant coat. Despite being the colour of confusion and anxiety, she made Sunpaw feel anything but. She flicked her ears again. "Just give me a second, I gotta put these remaining herbs back," she whisked around, trying to clean up as fast as she could.

Sunpaw's family is the one thing she loves above all else, so they'd probably have a really good relationship. Also, I decided Sunpaw calls Thistle any nickname relating to her actual name, because I thought it was cute :) That's why she called her "Burrbush,"
Thistlepaw pushed her head past the curtain in front of the medicine cat den, and the smell of herbs affronting her senses caused her to sneeze. The apprentice shook her head and then smiled broadly. "Hurry up!" she cried, tail tip twitching impatiently. "You have got to let me try this move on you."
The she-cat glanced around the small den before backing away, sitting down outside with a huff. The late sunlight drifting down didn't warm her fur as much as she would have liked, and she flopped down on her side. "How long are you gonna make me wait? I'll be in StarClan by the time you're done sorting in there!" Thistlepaw made her voice as whiny as possible, snickering at the thought that she sounded just like a kit again.
(Ah!! I'm so sorry, i've been having a difficult time with motivation!)
"Oh! Excuse you!" She said, mostly out of habit, as Thistepaw sneezed. She quickly began to shove the herbs back in their compartments, flicking her tail as her sister whined. "Alright! Alright! I'm getting there, jeez." As she finished, Thistlepaw had already left the den. She rolled her eyes, exiting the den to find the fireball of an apprentice waiting impatiently.
"Oh, I can go slower if you want?" She stuck her tongue out, a childishness washing over her. Something about being around Thistlepaw just made her feel so joyful. Blue. Despite her colour being that of confusion, Sunpaw had always felt so sure around her. She bounded up next to her sister, wounding around her for a second before plopping down beside her. "Okay, I'm here, now what did you want again?"
The orange apprentice wanted to come up with a jokey comeback but instead she purred at the contact of her sister. Thistlepaw got excited all over again as Sunpaw asked about her reason for coming to annoy her. She leaned in and loudly whispered in a conspiratorial tone, "A warrior showed me this maneuver. I'm usually in the gardens but I was bored and got this lesson instead!" She leaned back, jumping up and then around Sunpaw. She was so overexcited it was silly. "Let me practice it on you, pleasepleaseplease!" _ ik the feeling, no worries !
She playfully shoved Thistlepaw’s shoulder, a purr erupting in her throat. “Okay, okay!” Sunpaw scampered just in front of her sister, completely unsure of what she should be doing. Her pose was awkward, her rather gangly limbs looking misplaced. “What am I suppose to do when you try the move?” Her head tilted a bit, her tail flicking curiously. There was the tiniest spark of orange in her vision, much different than her sisters pelt. It was a bad kind of orange. But what was there to be nervous about? Nobody was getting hurt.
After a few moments consideration, she sat herself down, her paws shifting. “Well, tell me when you’re ready, Burrbush.”
Thistlepaw stumbled back a little as Sunpaw bumped her shoulder and a grin spread across her face. She watched as the medicine apprentice hopped in front of her, standing awkwardly, and laughed. "Just stand still so you don't get hurt the first time! But I won't tell you what I'm doing 'cuz I wanna take you by surprise." Thistlepaw noticed her sister's tail flick and took it to be an excited gesture. Truthfully, the apprentice had not trained enough to do this move. She was taught more about the gardens than about fighting, but by StarClan she wanted to be able to do both! Thistlepaw took too long to think and her sister sat down. Instead of telling her to stand back up, she decided to try the move on her seated sister instead. Without warning Sunpaw as requested, the tabby shot toward her, shoving into her stomach with her head to try and toss her over her shoulder.
