Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Running. What a thrill. Something about the feeling of chasing her prey made it all the sweeter in the end. The cloud like she cat could barely contain herself as she launched herself that last bit of distance, landing squarely on top of her prey. The tang of it's blood on her tongue as she sunk her teeth into it's throat almost sent her hunger over the edge as she felt the rabbit go limp under her paws. It was a great catch sure, but not what she was looking for. What she was actually looking for was a couple of good mice for Bloodyrondo. Speaking of her mate.... Stainlights scratched some earth over her kill before scanning the area for the golden tom. She suspected he might of been disappointed when she actually insisted on hunting when she asked him to go with her but, she was sure he would get over it rather quickly.
"You and your rabbits. No wonder your fur is so soft and beautiful. My mother always said you are what you eat," Bloodyrondo teased as he brushed up against Satinlights's side out of seemingly nowhere at all. He had used his powers to mask his presence until he was right at next to her mostly because he wanted to impress his mate with his sneakiness but also because he didn't wan to her to see that he approached from the DayClan side of the border. The crimson tom looked as handsome as ever with his swirly blood-red stripes twisting around his frame like rising flames. He was wearing the body paint of the Priest Promised after what had seemed like infinite moons without it and he spared no expense in the design. Golden rivulets weaves their way alongside his stripes so naturally that it seemed they had no better place to be. He gave Satinlights a crooked grin then rubbed his cheek against hers, "That was a good catch."
Satinlights nearly jumped out of her skin when her mate was suddenly beside her. Quickly she tried to play it off as if she hadn't be startled at all and just hoped he wouldn't comment on the fact. "So you're calling me a rabbit" she teased, brushing up against him, walking in a circle around him. "I suppose that's true, I am faster than you after all." she purred, It was true she'd given him a run for his money during the mate choosing ceremony and wasn't going to let him forget it any time soon. Still she didn't want to spoil the moment by boasting too much. "Thank you, it was a good catch but, not exactly what I was looking to catch." She had been trying to hunt mice for him before he showed up but, it was too late to surprise him with them now. "Where have you been?" I was an innocent question really, she was just trying to make conversation as she lead him away from the rabbit, she would come back for that later. Right now she wanted to enjoy whatever little time with her mate she was given.
"It's not an insult, is it? Rabbits are beautiful creatures, especially the ones in DayClan. They come in as many colors as cats do! Long furred, short furred, giant and small... But none of them are as soft or as beautiful as you are, Satinlights," Bloodyrondo purred, either not noticing or ignoring her surprise. He rubbed his face into her pelt again - oh how he loved that dreamy, soft white fur - and would have stayed like that for a few moments longer had she not questioned him of his prior whereabouts. He tensed. A bad liar as always, and even worse at keeping secrets, Bloodyrondo scrambled to come up with something, "Oh, you know, I was, uh, hunting too. I'm not as good at it as you are, though, sweetie. I didn't catch anything," He padded in front of her now, his celadon eyes shining bright, "Say, how about we take this moment to go to our secret place and share this rabbit?"
