Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Flamingstar made her way to the main waterfall as the moon rose higher in the sky. However, it wasn't like she could see it. The fog that was cursed upon the land made it difficult to see the sky each night. Starclan's way of being petty. She let out a snort. Starclan. They meant nothing to her. She refused to follow them and they cursed her land. Now all of Nightclan is suffering and, yet, majority of her clan choose to continue to follow them despite the fact that Starclan had cursed them and turned their backs on them. No matter, she hadn't come to the falls to clear her mind of her troubles with Starclan. She was mostly over that. Her problem was much more obvious. Her belly was becoming more swollen by the day, eventually she would have to tell her clan. Though, she wasn't exactly sure how. As she sat beside the river, not far from the waterfall, she let out a sigh, willing her nerves to calm and her mind to empty. Meditation. That was her only escape and the only way to keep her from slicing someone's throat open. She did this often. The sound of the waterfall and nature relaxed her.
Ahava Vairocana didn't really need to see Flamingstar to know where she was. Even with a body shrouded in shadow, she wouldn't have been able to hide. Once the trees gave way, and her form would appear, she could see the faint, bright red that indicated the presence of a living creature. As she came closer, the leader's body became clear, and within it, veins and arteries distinguished themselves, including the little bundles nestled in the she-cat's belly. One day a moon or two ago, she'd suddenly been able to see them, a fact she'd kept to herself thus far. She didn't know why, suddenly, this was possible, but it was, and her pupils glinted a creepy red color for a moment in the soft light of the moon. "Faring well, Flamingstar?" Turbulentsea's apprentice questioned.
Flamingstar startled at Ahava's voice but relaxed soon after. "Ahava. You startled me" she mewed simply, composing herself once more. "I suppose I'm as well as I can be. Yourself?"
Cana shrugged her shoulders. "Same as always I supposed. Training is going well. Soon I'll be able to know the extent of a patient's injuries before they even tell me, I bet." The way it was phrased it certainly implied she was joking, especially giving the almost amused expression on her face. But surely, that couldn't be true. At least, Flamingstar's current stance on abilities wouldn't allow for it, so the older feline chose to leave it as suggested falsehood, rather than elaborating on it being closer to the truth than the leader would want to admit. "How are the kits?" Her voice was rather quiet, so that any potential eavesdropper would have to be part of their little makeshift group to hear it. Naturally, the she-cat would know, regardless of whether Flamingstar had told her. She was being trained for this sort of thing, after all.
