Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
"And that's the last of them," Autumngossamer said dragging down the last bundle of leaves into her den. Gingersnap nervously tapped at one, her entire face looking the other way as she shrieked and ran underneath a rock, "Are you sure these are safe? They could catch on fire again! The Sun God sure doesn't seem to love leaves," She said sheepishly.
Autumngossamer smiled softly and crawled under the rock with Gingersnap, "He doesn't hate leaves, it won't get set on fire, it'll be okay. You should feel safe in your own home and hopefully this proves to you that it's safe. Besides this is good kitten proofing for when your siblings move in tonight. Harvestkit literally fell off a cliff when he took his first steps outside so there's no such thing as too safe at this point," She marveled.
Gingersnap slowly stuck her paw out and squinted her eyes shut as she touched a leaf. Nothing happened. She opened her eyes and poked at them with more interest.
Autumngossamer looked like she was about to let out a sigh, but instead smiled and nudged Gingersnap, "That a girl, now," Autumngossamer soothed before looking at the den entrance and noticed Littlestar standing there. She looked back at Gingersnap, "if you want to do something real cool," She said reaching out and tickling her daughter with her tail as she giggled, "How about you go out and get a sacrifice for the Sun God. I bet he'd like that," She said getting out from underneath the rock.
"OH! I bet he'd love some leaves!" Gingersnap said, darting out from the table.
"No leaves, Ginger!" Autumngossamer called after her, but she was already gone. At least that meant more leaves to kitten proof the den. Like that rock. She walked up to Littlestar, "Hey, what's up?"

Littlestar watched he exchange with a bemused expression on her face. It seemed like Autumngossamer was getting back to her old self. She had been avoiding the she-catknowing that she was probably angry about her decision to take away her surviving kits and place them with another queen, but it had been for the best. The time away had given her time to adjust and recover, to come to terms with the rather traumatic events that the Sun God had put her through . "I'm glad to see your feeling better. Do you have everything you need for tonight?" it would be the first time the two kits would be away from Flawedperspective and spending the night with their parents.
Autumngossamer smiled, "Yeah, we're all set, but we'll see though. Harvestkit and Sweetkit seem pretty indifferent on the whole living situation, they might end up being happier to stay in the nursery until their apprentices. I know when I was separated from my foster mom all I wanted to do was go back to her."
She moved over to the bones set on the floor and placed them onto a higher shelf wanting to at least attempted to keep thing out of reach before thinking better about it and placing them in a small ditch before rolling a stone over them. Harvestkit seemed to like to jump a lot so clearing any shelves was probably better than him knocking anything onto his siblings. The soothsayer looked back at littlestar, "You can come in if you want, you do own the clan."

Littlestar walked inside, knowing that even if she had invited her in she wasn't exactly welcome. Then den looked far better than it had for kits, even though there were still a few hazards "With as accident prone as your kits are its good to see you kit proofing" she chuckled putting her paws to work helping. After all she was pregnant with her third litter, and dealt with all the clan's kits on nearly a daily basis.
"For sure," Autumngossamer said with her usual girlish diva enthusiasm, but kept looking back at Littlestar, "It's nice of you to come over and help me with all of this, I appreciate it," She said in a genuine tone, hiding the confusion. But maybe Littlestar had just stopped by to help her out. Littlestar had been worried about her mental health along with Bloodyrondo, it was nice to know she had a support system to lean back on when for so long she felt like she had nothing. Embracing the kind gesture she put the last of the animal bones away and let out a short tired, but relieved sigh as she stared out into the clean den. A honey warm smile lit across her lips as she looked at the nests in the back, "Looking out at everything I have, I'm really glad Lovesmitten encouraged me to have a family, I can't imagine a timeline without all of this. That's why he completes me. I bet you can say the same about Skipstep and your family."

Littlestar nodded, clearing out some of the leaves and stones that she had found, until the floor of the den was starting to become smoother and easier for little ones to navigate "This is nothing, you are a queen raising up the next generation of SunClan cats. Its part of my duties as the High Priestess to ensure your safety and comfort" she purred slightly but a slight frown formed when her eyes landed up her nest "You are going to need a proper nest as well. The one you have now is great for a single cat or a couple, but having a litter is a whole other story" she chuckled "Kits can be quiet the nest hogs, and you will want enough room to stretch out or you will regret it later on. I believe we have some extra supplies in the nursery, I'll send some of the warriors to collect and make you one" she paused as she mentioned Skipstep, a light seeming to flicker in her gaze at the mention of her mate "I can't speak as to if what Lovesmitten did was right or wrong. Though it seemed that he knew what his heart wanted, and just wanted to share it with you. Luckily, I always knew that I wanted a big family. Even as a kit, I was told that one day I would grow up, take on a winterclan mate, and have lots of children. I suppose its sounds a little cliche, but though both of my parents are gone it feels like my destiny. Not they would have imagined that i would end up in SunClan with Skipstep, even in their wildest of dreams"
"Its part of my duties as the High Priestess to ensure your safety and comfort"
Autumngossamer blushed, a small shy giddy smile spreading across her lips "Thanks," She was about to say more, but then paid attention to what Littlestar was saying. She didn't know why she didn't think of a bigger nest, probably because all the times she really lied down with them they were so tiny that a nest like this was perfect. Now Harvestkit and Sweetkit were bigger, but her mind still couldn't imagine it.
"Really?" Autumngossamer asked with a big, little bit too intrigued grin, "I would have pegged you as the rebellious teenager growing up, not always looking forward to having a big family. Guess that was just me," She scoffed with amusement. She rolled her shoulders back in a small stretch before her gaze swept back to Littlestar, "So now that the dens cozy and kitten proof, can we talk a little more openly about the whole you ambushing my pregnancy thing? I can just judge you silently if you want," Autumngossamer shrugged before looking away with a huff, "or like, whatever, but my psychologist says I should communicate my feelings more," She said, trying to act like she didn't care when she did, "That and I actually happen to like you as priestess so, what the hell even was that with you back there? I trusted you and when I said I was going to DayClan you sounded like you trusted me. I'm not really saying this to argue, I'm just legitimately confused by you, so what gives?"

"Far from it" she chuckled, responding to her comment about her being a rebellious child, but as they settled in she knew that question that she asked was coming but it didn't make it any easier to answer. It was a complex situation, and sometimes she wondered if she had made the right decision in attending the birthing "We can, but are you sure that the truth is what you want to know? Sometimes the truth is far worse than whatever explanation that you have come up with on your own" she shrugged, settling down for a more serious conversation than nest building and kit proofing. "The truth will hurt... Is it really what you want?"
"Yeah?" Autumngossamer said, sounding weirded out if anything else, "Alsooo if you can stop being dramatic all the time maybe half the things you say wouldn't be responded to with such dramatization. Like seriously having that hot WinterClan accent on top of all the stuff you say just makes everything come off like ten times more dramatic and edgy than it is. But like, further rant, seriously. Who would ever be like, oh yeah, sure, never mind, I don't want to know the truth, after you say that. Like c'mon Littlestar, it sounds like you want me to know it so just say it or whatever."
Autumngossamer's entire dialect was always dripping with girlish accented tones and her words were even more casual. So it was little surprise that Littlestar's voice being in the complete opposite direction threw her for a loop. Even so she looked surprisingly composed, there was less frustration and more of a blend of concern and judgment in her gaze.

Littlestar sighed, taking a moment to compose her own thoughts "Look I am not being dramatic, I am giving you options. Sometimes you are better off not knowing the truth, so I didn't want to take that choice away from you if you are in the right mind space to make it. You seem to be a lot happier lately, and I don't want to take that away from you" she paused, her own secret weighing heavily on her chest "You have come so far, and are finally ready to have your kits join you... The last thing that I want is to send you back into a depression, when you have only just started recovering" she stopped but decided to continue "as to why I came there that day... It mostly boils down to one thing. My concern for you and the kits that you were carrying...." Obviously she was only starting her explanation, but she left a brief opening so that Autumngossamer had a moment to back out if that is what she wanted to do
"Oh," Autumngossamer said with more understanding when she mentioned her depression. She could feel the unease coming off from Littlestar like a dark aura. Autumngossammer exhaled a deep breath that came out more like a snarl, but when her honey brown gaze met Littlestar's it was calm and for once there was a genuine sweet kindness that resonated from her, "Hey, before you go on I want to give you complete permission to stop." She looked hesitant like she hadn't even expected herself to say something, but continued anyways, "I hate how things turned out. That I came into this clan and admired you so much, but when it was time for me to grow up and be soothsayer the pressure crushed me. I took out my frustrations of being a failure on you when you're one of the few people here I actually do respect and yet I hardly show it."
She shrugged briefly with a loose brave smile, "I get it now, being the soothsayer means providing a lot more than I thought. But if you want to keep whatever this is a secret in order for us to work together then I understand."

Relief flooded over her like a wave "It would be best for you not to find out at the moment... You have come so far, and SunClan needs their Soothsayer" she paused a small twinkle in her eye "What if I promise to tell you the truth one day? Once you and I both believe that you are ready to hear it, or if the unknown becomes to much of a burden for you to bare. You deserve the truth... its just not the right time to deliver it" she hoped that one day she would be able to take back Autumn's kits that were in DayClan, and present them to her. "Next time you ask it of me, I will tell you... even if you hate me for it"
"Thank-you Littlestar," She said, dipping her had to her priestess. Autumngossamer had come farther than she thought she would be able to, but the validation from Littlestar warmed her heart. Initially she thought she was doing better for SunClan after being cursed. However, after giving birth she could tell the clear message was that she needed to improve herself more. Now she just hoped it was enough for the Sun God to speak to her again. "If you also promise to be honest with me then you've got yourself a deal. I'm not asking for you to share everything with me. All I mean is the next time I tell you I'm going to DayClan I would like you to tell me you have a problem with it and not ambush me."
"Besides, I'm ready more than ever to be the soothsayer SunClan needs now," Autumngossamer promised. She turned to look at her den, everything was clean and in order and it was all thanks to Littlestar's help. There was something strange about this being the first time they ever worked together, but it felt right.
