CleaverGidgetGal Demonicchicken had spent the morning being tutored on fighting skills, he'd even managed to snag a claw and accidentally rip a chunk of his opponent's fur out. Happily, it had only been Fuzzypeach. The hopeless tom hadn't even noticed and upon being told he'd laughed and assured Demonicchicken that he had enough fluff to last him anyway.
Now both cats padded back towards the group, Fuzzypeach said he was famished and Demonicchicken didn't know what else to do on his own. They walked leisurely, or at least the walked at the pace Fuzzypeach always walked. It was a slow ambling but Demonicchicken tolerated it for his friend.
She leaped down the cluster of rocks and dove for the mole as it raced towards its tunnel, her fur streaming in the wind and her paws ghosting over the ground. She'd startled her prey far too early and despite her quick pursuit, she was too far away; she launched herself in a last-ditch effort and rolled over the tunnel a half-second after the mole safely disappeared into its depths. She rolled into a sitting position with a huff, dejectedly pinning back her ears. Rats!
Her green gaze lifted to find the pair of toms walking nearby and she brightened, leaping back to her paws and trotting toward them. "Fuzzypeach! Demonicchicken!" Shatteredshine greeted warmly.

"Shatteredshine!" Fuzzypeach responded, voice bright and welcoming. "What are ya doin' out here? Have you met Demonicchicken properly yet? He's sorta new."
Demonicchicken rolled his eyes, "not that new, Fuzzy. Hi, Shatteredshine." He hadn't actually properly met her, but if Fuzzypeach knew that he'd prattle on about them two getting to know each other. He didn't fancy playing twenty questions because Fuzzypeach was concerned he wasn't socializing enough.
"Hey! Sis! Did ya catch it?" Sliprabbit poked her head out of the nearby bush, nearly tripping over her own paws as she pulled herself out of the undergrowth and shook a leaf out of her silver tabby pelt. She paused, blinking in surprise for a moment upon unexpectedly finding her sister in a conversation with some of their clanmates, before a bright, cheerful grin spread across her muzzle. A bundle of sunshine and boundless energy, the hunting patrol she was on went immediately forgotten as she recognized the pair. "Fuzzypeach! Demonicchicken! Good to see ya guys! What'cha all up to?"
"Hi," she said with a quick smile but didn't have time to answer Fuzzypeach before she turned back to her sister. "No, sorry Sliprabbit, it got away from me. I was so close though, just a whisker away! I'll get it next time, I promise."
