Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
DayClan's entire camp was ready to go. The apple orchard grass of DayClan's camp was manicure neatly thanks to the angora rabbits left to graze. From the single entrance were gold, yellow, auburn, and orange sunflower petals outlined into a path by smooth ovular stones. In the center was the wisteria tree, but this time the long veiled branches were fastened back by willow leaves revealing the mossy wisteria throne. From the wisteria tree to the edges of the camps valley walls were long vines hanging freshly cut carnations and tulips above the camp. The three waterfalls even had more style to them, stones were crushed into the valley wall to create an elaborate fountain appearance. The water cascaded through the stone notches and funneled delicately to the ponds of tadpoles below. The best piece of all were the monarch butterflies that followed the flowers into camp. She wanted DayClan to be reminiscent of the kind gesture Foxbane had made for her all those moons ago when Foxbane and Funk E'tan had come to comfort her about Deal.
Dread pressed into her heart, cutting deep as she waited for them, but when she saw them coming the dread didn't lighten it flourished. For years all she wanted was Foxbane to love her back and now that she finally did it wasn't enough. It wasn't in Glowstar's right to forgive Foxbane because she didn't wrong just her, she wronged everyone in DayClan. Glowstar was a representative of her clan, to forgive her was saying DayClan forgave her, which wasn't true and likely never would. But nonetheless Glowstar wanted her even when she unsheathed her claws at Foxbane and even when she turned her away when SunClan's alliance fell through. She more than owed Foxbane an apology for judging her. Funk was entirely different though, she had left literally the most perfect person in her life to explore her feelings with Foxbane. Because she knew if she didn't see what was there she would always think about it, always emotionally cheating. It would have been more unfair to keep the relationship going, but to decide to drop it had utterly destroyed her every night he wasn't by her side. Even in the moments he was there, if his paw wasn't in hers it was never the same. She loved each of them.
"I'm glad you both came," Glowstar said, her smile was warmer than sunlight, but in her gaze it lit up like a comet just as the pure sight of them alone. There was no disguising the warmth and relief she felt to see the two of them again.

(i ran out of juice rip)
Now, if Funk had actual emotions, they would be going out of wack right now. The whole Romance Festival thing Sunclan does felt like it was an eternity ago but also yesterday. When Glowstar had asked to break things off, he was fine with it. He really was. For as much as he wanted to hold onto her tightly and never let go, he knew neither of them could live like that. Who was he to hold her back from that exploration? There were too many questions she wanted answered, so Funk let her go. And he was okay with it. At the time, at least. Until the nights came and his bed felt far too empty for his own good. As Funk slipped back into old habits to fill that hole, he found it more and more unsatisfying. Cause no one else would fill that hole in his heart like Glow did.
So when Fox did, he didn't know how to react. From meeting at a party to that whole god eating thing to gardening together to solving a mystery. It was a ride, one he really didn't want to get off of. One he never expected to get addicted to. But what was he supposed to do? Have his cake and eat it too? He really was that selfish. He wasn't so hungry though since every time he looked at them, his stomach felt like it wanted to escape his body.
The Dayclan camp was gorgeous, he could at least say that. Funk could hear his heart pound in his ears. Not that he showed it, able to at least keep his cool. "Of course." He purred

She wondered if she should even come. But Foxbane knew there was no such think as outrunning Glowstar. Okay, no, there were plenty of cats who could outrun the DayClan leader. She more meant that if Glowstar wanted to find you, one way or other, fate would bring you two together. Foxbane, on the other paw, was the sort who would track another to the ends of the earth, destiny be damned.
The fox furred feline knew what she wanted when she arrived. But to know and to act were different things entirely. Stepping into camp was stepping into the den of the lioness and the cubs whom she guarded with her life. Her breath caught in her throat. It wasn't DayClan she feared. For all the evil she'd forced onto them, even regret or the threat of retribution wasn't enough to scare her. No, what she was truly terrified of were the two cats before her. When Glowstar had broken things off, Foxbane had felt her heart break. Though unlike her previous relationship, she wasn't filled with a desire for vengeance, but a want to prove that she wasn't the cat she was accused of being.
That determination had led her to Funk, a not so unlikely companion that had made her happy in the absence, though in between those moments she had been painfully weak. And that weakness, that selfishness, had lead to the predicament she was currently in. Foxbane was rather obviously pregnant by now, and she wasn't sure who the father was. If it was Funk, then things were okay. More or less, anyhow. If the kits were Deal's.. and she had a sneaking suspicion at least some of this litter was, she didn't know what to do. And with the chance to finally be happy with the cats before her... she didn't want a moment she regretted to shatter her fragile hope.
Her expression betrayed none of her inner turmoil, however. Electric white struck across her fur in lightning cracks, as though all the tangible energy around her had stuck itself into the bright shade written across her auburn back. A mischievous smirk twisted up the side of her mouth, and ivy eyes sparked as they landed on the two before her. "Wouldn't miss it for anything."
Glowstar looked between the two of them, her happiness to see them being her leading confidence. She took a breath, lost the breath looking into Funk's smooth celadon eyes and Foxbane's sly ivy colored green eyes, coughed for a moment, hacked, straightened up and took another breath, "Sorry, your both just incredibly intimidating in a hot way. Anyways, Funk," She said, her emerald eyes reflecting the same shining love she had all the other times their eyes met and this time was no different, her gaze glowed for him, "Thank-you so much for helping Foxbane to solve who was threatening DayClan. Because of you DayClan didn't lose a friend and we also learned who we can't trust. You didn't have to do that, especially losing one of your own members and it's because I know you were being generous that I am grateful to you," She said dipping her head to him.
Turning to Foxbane, "And Foxbane, I'm sorry I ever judged you. I spent so much time putting faith into you for years and when the moment counted most I didn't believe you. I should have been more supportive of you when you were caught in the Regime and when you promised to change after the apocalypse. I also should have never been blind to your romantic proposal in the first place, I missed when our friendship turned to love and I wish I caught that because that only happens once and instead I was looking the other way waiting for Deal. I'm sorry I turned my back on our trust Foxbane, I hope you can forgive me."
This time she raised her head to look between the two of them, "Are we still?" Friends? Was that the right word to put any of this anymore?
She didn't give herself the chance to back out as she stepped forward, until her and Glowstar were nearly nose to nose. Her ivy eyes stared into the she-cat's emerald gaze for a long moment before she lifted a paw to her ear, pulling around three feathers that hadn't been visible the moment before. Foxbane took one off, only breaking eye contact for a moment to fasten it. All three feathers were identical. Pure white, except for the tips, which were colored in auburn with small swirlings in three shades of green that matched the trio's eyes.
Her nose brushed gently against the DayClan leader's muzzle as she pulled back, turning to Funk and pulling the second of the three feathers, fastening it behind his ear as well, leaving the three of them with their feathers. Foxbane still wore the hope feather Glowstar had given her once upon a time, and it peeked out slightly as she tilted her head, gaze shining bright when she looked between the two of them. "Let's call it an engagement." The fox-pelted feline stated simply, answering the she-cat's question without hesitation.
"I love you." Foxbane continued softly, speaking to them both equally, well and truly speaking from the heart, which was often a rare thing for the she-cat who so naturally masked her own feelings.

It would have been easy to laugh it off and say it was no problem. That he didn't mind losing a member. That it wasn't generosity. That the whole ordeal was easy and didn't bring Foxbane and him even closer than he expected. It was moments of weakness for both of them, and giving up Kotori was a way of bringing a sense of control back. He still had it. Funk wasn't sure anymore, especially as Glowstar's gaze bore into him. He hated and loved that his own eyes reflected that same love. "You're welcome, my dear."
Part of him knew what to expect, the other was still shocked it was even happening. He knew better than to expect Foxbane to back down from a decision. It still didn't feel real until he felt the feather fastened behind his ear. First instinct... the primal instinct, hah, was to pull away. Or even to push forward, feel something other than the light weight of the feather. Somehow, he held still, biting his tongue till he tasted red. He couldn't help but touch it when he let himself move again, a smile gracing his muzzle as he touched it.
"An engagement, huh?" Funk purred, a gargled but warm sound. This was a bad idea, there was no way he'd live once people found out. A storm of chaos, where the clouds and the rain and the lightning all now vowed to be together forever. There would be no sunshowers or lightning strikes or cloudy days anymore. That was horrifying. But, looking into the dazzling emerald eyes of Glowstar and the passion ivy eyes of Foxbane, Funk couldn't say no. "Well, I love you both too. So sure, why not?" His words were predetermined, it was going to take a while for him to learn to sound sincere.
Glowstar didn't wince away as Foxbane padded forward and for once her gaze didn't leave her in dizzying excitement. Instead she felt touched to see the compassion in her eyes, they really had come a long way and yet somethings hadn't changed. Years ago from this day Foxbane was still keeping her imprisoned in SunClan, now she was fastening the engagement feather around her ear. The desire to keep her had never really faded in that sense.
She blushed, her cheeks warm as the sunlight above smiling shyly at Foxbane. At first, she hadn't anticipated Funk would say yes to something like this, but he had. Which meant as she presumed from when they both visited her in DayClan they did have lasting feelings. Emotionally this was straight forward, she loved Foxbane, she loved Funk, easy answer, yes.
"I love you too, but that's the torment of my heart. I want both of you, but Foxbane it would be the most heartless backstabbing thing I could do to the friends and family you've harmed. I don't take it personally, but it's not my place to forgive you. My answer is a yes on the condition that before the wedding ends you have meaningfully attempted to make amends to everyone in my clan that you have wronged including ex members such as Eternalstar, Deal, Shule and her second litter." Up until her last statement she had been lovingly soft spoken, but the coldness in her voice emphasized that she still couldn't forgive Foxbane for the psychological damage she had done to her family with Shule's litter. Shule killing Funk was unforgivable, but Foxbane being killed by Shule was getting off easy. Glowstar had been crystal clear in her one rule that she would always forgive Foxbane so long as she never messed with her kits and the moment they became her kits Foxbane had broken that rule.
"Forgiveness for some can take a long time," Glowstar continued, "I'm not looking for how many people forgive you I'm looking for the effort made." She placed a paw gently over Foxbane's, kissing her gently across the cheek, "I won't be disappointed if you try your best," She whispered before moving back, her smile was light as air, but her eyes danced with chaos, "You never made it easy for me, so I gotta return the favor, right?"
Foxbane didn't care so much who Glowstar was backstabbing for them to be together. But, she did care about Glowstar, and this mattered to her. Even so, was it worth that much of her pride to pursue this? Well, that was actually an easier question than she thought. Yes. It was worth it. She closed her eyes before she answered, however, mulling it over one more time. That was a lot, a lot, of cats to speak with. Basically the entirety of DayClan, for starters, both individually, and just overall things, she supposed.
"You're right, it won't be easy, and I'm not entirely sure I can do it." The she-cat replied, daring a mischievous wink that make it a bit uncertain if she was joking or not, but she nodded, all the same. "But I will. Starting with you. I've hurt you in so, so many ways, and even if you forgive it, I still owe it to you to make it all up to you, and more. I will never be good, but with a trio like us, that was never possible anyway. No, I don't want to be 'good' but I want to be someone worthy of you, and I will do my best to be that for you."

This was the only moment he was grateful not many Dayclan cats agreed to his experiments or drugs, and apparently less that complained about it. Even after chasing notoriety for so long, his actions were still obscured in smoke and ash. And who'd really risk suffocating to sort through it all? Long as it didn't involve someone close to you, there was little point to dig through it.
Not that Funk didn't know his own challenge; fight against his whims and stay loyal. Which wasn't ultimately important to him, but it was important to Glow. And that's what mattered to him now. It had been a process, unlearning the muscle memory. And he had his relapses... too many relapses. But he was now here, not able to back out. "How sweet. I'll swing back in like a year after you've apologized to everyone though." Funk smiled, cheeky as ever.
