Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Bluejay's legs wobbled as she tried to get up, she couldn't remember slipping, but she had and fell hard on her jaw, only a whisper of a cry breaking free from her muzzle. Her blurred vision staring up at a new cat now, he didn't look the same as he had before. But worst of all she was stupid enough to think anyone would actually like her and it was that realization alone that distracted her from the looming presence of sleep devouring her. Bluejay's power had attached to her very soul and having it ripped out left her trembling and weak. It was like having two hearts and suddenly having one, you could live, but it never felt the same.
Present Day
Bluejay watched Everlastingfire somewhat coldly, but mainly with a somber expression. It was raining out so while most patrols took shelter back at camp it was just him and her stuck sheltering under a tree at the Endless Falls. Her paws overlapped the other as she lied her head down over her front legs. She felt just as pathetic as she had when he stole her powers. So far she hadn't told a soul who he really was, she didn't want Pandora and her to be dragged into SunClan and punished for betraying the Sun God. The power was all she had for well, power. She didn't have any combat training and for once she actually felt like she lost. "You're a bad friend, but I guess I'm not one to talk," Bluejay said and although she lied close next to him, her voice sounded distant.
"Yeah, and you're a bad Warrior for not outing me to DayClan. I do appreciate you keeping my secret, though," Everlastingfire flicked his ear as a stray raindrop fell on it and then tensed for a second as he unleashed his powers. The sound of the rain and the waterfall was greatly dampened so their conversation could be more clearly heard. He also made sure that any prying ears wouldn't be able to hear their discussion, but given their location, perhaps the precaution was a bit superfluous, "You had the powers of the stars yet all you did was take control of DayClan and make them worship you. There's more to life than just being admired and adored. You could have changed the world like I am going to do."
He truly did feel bad, though. Everlastingfire wasn't the kind of tom who liked to manipulate others. He preferred being direct but Bluejay was a different demon altogether. He had long admitted to himself that he toyed with her to get what he needed to redeem himself. Her loss, his gain. It wasn't fair but neither was Moonlitnocturne playing dress up in the Priest Promised's den. Bloodyrondo didn't have it in him to apologize for what he had done but the least he could do was try to prove to her that he was not an enemy, "I'm sorry for the pain that I have cause you, but I wouldn't take it back."
