Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
DayClan had a gorgeous clan, but with it were other large predators who shared the land among them. Because of this it wasn’t always safe for their medicine cat to collect herbs so they conditioned ili pika mice to bring back herbs to DayClan and in return were rewarded with shelter and food. Since the ili pika were as hard working as any warrior it was a favored activity for DayClan cats to create tiny homes for them, thus the date activity was making tiny homes for the mice.
Lostpaw looked like diamond, he had a rigid facial complexion, yet smooth icy dazzling white fur. His entire body structure from the plumed long tail and curled rounded ears resembled that of a snow leopard all the way down to his bengal pattern. It was remarkable he was even from DayClan at all, he looked like he had been plucked from another litter, which was entirely right. He grew up an only child who eventually wound up in DayClan only because someone was interested in raising him. However he had grown fond of the animals surrounding DayClan. Instead of most clans finding mice to be prey, they DayClan took note of the ili pikas habit of picking up flowers and used it to support one another. He would have never previously imagined himself befriending his food, but now that he had he never wanted to go back.
"I guess this is pretty strange for you making tiny houses for prey on a blind date with someone who's not even on the same mountain as you," Lostpaw said with a smirk, "For me though this pretty much a ritual, I love making tiny houses for these little guys."
Enchantedpaw stood taking in the tiny homes, her big vibrant blue eyes glowing against her soft blue and white laced pelt. She had been hesitant to this grand plan that Wintrystar and Glowstar had come up with, but she wanted to help and feel as if she was doing something right for once. There was a sweet but timid air flowing around her, her lacking confidence weak but apparent if you played close enough attention.
"What did you call them again, ili pikis?" She looked at Lostpaw timidly, but with a smile, curious to learn more about this strange custom of theirs.
"Ili pikas, they give herbs to our medicine cat Brakewings, but also flowers and other edible plants. I always hoped that I would someday be an animal whisperer, but I don't know... StarClan just didn't choose me so now I guess I'm just going to be a warrior," Lostpaw said.
Or a slave... When he was a kit he got mixed up with the wrong person and now a girl, younger than him basically owned him or she would send her goon after him. So now he worked for the Regime, the story of his pathetic life. At least he made up an excuse to be allowed to participate in this, not that the person who ordered him around knew what this exactly was.
