Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
The day had been quite boring for the dark gray tabby Tom. He had done a patrol and had spent the most of his time hunting. He let out a sigh, twitched his tail back and forth slowly as he thought of something to do. He sat down on his haunches and stared into the grass, unaware that another cat was coming towards him.

She could just make out the figure of a lone cat from the dimming light that was left over from the setting sun. Rainfrost stretched her legs as she rose from where she had been laying. Then she carefully made her way over to the sitting tom. As she neared, she wondered if he had spotted something from the way he was staring into the grass. "Is there something out there?" she asked softly not wanting to scare him or alert any enemy he may be watching.
"Oh no, I was just thinking, trying to figure out what to do other than patrolling or hunting. I have been doing those all day." He commented as he turned his head to see the she-cat behind him, a smile on his mouth.

"Have you come up with anything?" Rainfrost asked. She knew her life had been a dull routine of hunting, patrolling, eating, and sleeping. With her hunting excursions though, she tried to vary the places she looked for her prey so she'd have some sort of variety. Just for a change of pace, today she fished in the main stream at the base of the falls, something she hadn't done since last Leafbare.
Wolffire shook his head. "Not Yet. Everything is either hunting or patrolling." He told her with a frown on his face. "I want something fun, not mundane." He replied as he looked at his paws, trying to think.

"Well there's always the hot springs," Rainfrost suggested. She had been wanting to go there herself for some time but going alone just didn't suit her. She had been by herself for the past few days and felt the need for some company. "The warm water is soothing to sore muscles. I know I could use it." She arched her back and enjoyed the pull on her tired muscles. Then she stretched each hind leg out behind her in turn.

"That does sound fun and very relaxing." He said with a smile and purr. "I could use the same treatment, especially my leg and shoulder." He replied, looking at the long scar that ran from his right shoulder to his right leg.

Noticing the wicked looking scar, Rainfrost commented, "That looks pretty much healed on the surface. Is it still giving you trouble? Was it from a fox battle?" She knew from experience that fights with foxes could prove to be quite dangerous with their sharp claws and fangs. She glanced at an old scar on her leg from a fox battle she received over a year ago. She was fortunate that was all she had to remember from that incident.

ROLEPLAY
Wolffire debated on whether to lie or tell her the truth about his scar, which had healed on the outside, but the inside still gave him trouble. He looked at her and shook his head. "It wasn't from a fox. It was from my Father, from when I was just born. My mother had died giving birth to us and my Father out of rage, attacked my sister and I, leaving us with these scars as a reminder that we killed our Mother." He replied with a frown. "It troubles me once in a while since it hasn't healed properly."

"That's awful!" Rainfrost meowed outraged. "How could any father do that to his kits, especially newborns?" Despite her ambitious nature, she sincerely felt bad for Wolffire. She felt like tearing into that unfeeling tom but of course he wasn't there. That's now in the past. It's the here and now that can be dealt with. So her mind went to the next reasonable solution. "Have you asked our medicine cat about it? Maybe he can help some way?"
Wolffire shook his grey head. "No, I don't want to trouble anybody with a past wound, plus I'm not sure if anything can be done." He replied honestly. "I've dealt with this whole life, so... I don't often tell other's about it."

"Well, it's up to you," Rainfrost meowed with a shrug of her shoulders. "They might have something to help but we do know that the hot springs will take some aches and pains away." If it were her she'd ask the medicine cat. She didn't like when she had a nagging pain. She started to walk out of the camp toward the hot springs.
