Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Senescence, or Wanderingwight, or really, whatever anyone wished to call her at this point, was hanging out with Lucistic today. Well, Lucistic and Ly, really. It never was just Luc anymore, was it? She supposed she should appreciate the fact that she got to save herself from the voice in the mind by joining into one with her demon, and choosing to give herself the demon half's name. As the days went on, new memories trickled through, and with it, she got significantly more control over her powers. A spring flower rested on the pad of her paw, a perfectly white flower that, as she watched it, browned and shriveled up, going dry and brittle until it eventually flaked away into dust that was swept away on the breeze as though the flower had never existed at all.
Everlastingfire had been meaning to approach Senescence and Lucistic for some time now. He wanted to speak one-on-one with every member of DayClan eventually, of course, but these two had proven elusive. Or, rather, that was what the fiery tom told himself when he turned a blind eye to them. He always had his excuses. Honestly? There was just something about the duo that made his skin crawl. They were deterrent to him for reasons he could not define.
There was no more postponing this, though. It was midday and the camp was unusually quiet; kits were napping, Warriors were on patrols, apprentices were cleaning. Everyone was busy with something except for himself the the two demon spawn he had been avoiding. Well, Everlasingfire had sworn that he would do everything in his power to convert DayClan to the Sun God's religion. Senescence and Lucistic were not excluded from that.
As he approached, his eyes were drawn to the white flower on Sen's paws, and only widened as he saw it shrivel up and die. She had powers that were clearly destructive and there was no telling about Luc had up his sleeves. Everlastingfire knew the rumors of course but seeing them in person was a different matter altogether. He decided not to comment on the flower and start off slow, you know, get his foot in the door, "Wanderingwight. Leucisticcrow. I don't believe I've had the pleasure of speaking with you two... I do hope you are having a pleasant day."
"Oh no, we spoke four days ago, remember? You told us about the Sun God, we said it was stupid, you showed off those amazing fire powers and we were just on board from there. Anyways um. Namaste," He said with a bow of his head before looking at his sister, "that's a SunClan thing right?"
Ly had agreed to retreat back into his shadow, which meant it had a bit of a mind of its own. The way it moved like crushed velvet against the floor, it's fur on end where as Lucistic's was smooth. He felt bad for his mom, ever since Foxstar stepped down and became Foxbane she didn't have anyone fun to play with. Now she was so desperate she was allowing guys like Everlastingfire to terrorize her life. But even then he was too nice and polite to be a real challenge, it was hard getting quality torture nowadays. Lucistic looked more creature than cat, he had the cat ears, snout, same cute toe beans as every other cat, but there was always something off. He was unnaturally tall like some larger creature stretched out the skin of a cat and was trying to inhabit its flesh. His radioactive green eyes easily went from calm to ravenous in a matter of moments and ever so often a cat could catch the gleam of copper flash past his gaze. along his left ear were multiple piercings, a claws and multiple holes that had a small vine twisting in and out of them and then two feathers pinned behind said ear.

"No, pretty sure their 'thing' is using their sheer stupidity to blind others." Naturally, she was talking about the fact that Everlastingfire had blinded her daughter, Fia Cendrillon when she'd showed up, though if Senescence was angry about it, it was hard to tell when facing that bored expression. It was also a testament to her boredom to use insults, she tended to only do so when she had nothing better she could find to do. "If you're gonna give us a spiel, why don't you do us a favor and make us deaf first? Saves me the trouble of not even pretending to listen."
It really was pathetic. And the tom really had picked a bad pair to involve himself with. Wanderingwight was similarly tall, covered head to toe in scars, and as she lazily lifted her head, the copper covering her gaze bled back into mismatched haint blue and blind violet, pale scars rippling at her throat as the bloodstained necklace that laid against her white chest shifted with the movement. The feathers hung from the base of her right ear, time and judgement, if he had managed to learn the meanings by now.
As expected, Everlastingfire bristled at their abrasive comments; it took everything within his power to keep his claws sheathed. This sort of exchange was not tolerated when he was in SunClan yet in DayClan it seemed to be par for the course. These two cats in particular were the ringleaders of the worst DayClan had to offer, probably because they were Glowstar's children which meant that had to have been raised with literally no discipline. They were also very... strange. It was almost as if they were wearing masks like he was but doing a much poorer job at playing cat. It made his skin crawl, just a little.
"Fia is your daughter... who you let her throw rocks at a totally peaceful newcomer... and did nothing. Would you rather me have done? Thrown a rock back?" He kept his voice even but clearly had lost his temper; he had a very short fuse, to be fair, "See, this is why you all need the Sun God. You like to advertise yourselves as the most welcoming of all Clans but once a newcomer is here you do everything if your power to push them away. You're in between, wishy-washy, which means nothing ever really gets done around here. If you looked past your own snouts long enough to give me the time of day you'd realize I'm here to make DayClan stronger and better than ever."
"Don't get your tail in a twist, my sis and I happen to hate this as much as you do. I'm sure you can tell we're like you, but below you in power and because of it we're bound to whoever leads this clan and oh," Lucistic said covering his muzzle, "Did I admit that? I guess we're technically bound to obey you now, you're far more powerful than Glowstar," He let out a tired sigh, "Hopefully you can forgive us for our rude introduction to you, we forgot we serve you now," He said hanging his head low before turning to look at his sister with the biggest amused grin on his face that seemed to silently say, this-is-going-to-be-fun before turning back to look at Everlastingfire with a miserable expression. "Please try your best not to abuse our power, we're not used to being at someone with your powers mercy," He said, his German accent slipping in briefly.
Sure they could do the usual and annoy him until he becomes too much of a pain and hang him over a cliff. But this was so much more fun, he hoped he asked them to terrorize people and then when they would inevitably become bored of him they could turn on Everlastingfire and that surprise would be priceless.

Sure, that worked. Senescence had never been one to subject herself to others' authority, but at this point, why not? Luc had already gone and said it, and she was rather too lazy to try and disagree anyhow. Besides, it was a bit interesting, wasn't it? See what kind of trouble Everlastingfire wanted them to cause, and all that. "What do you say? Our power is at your paws, what kind of statements did you want to make?" Unlike her brother, Wanderingwight didn't bother to try and sound sad or apologetic, it hardly would have been believable anyhow. But all the same, she didn't quite seem like she was joking as she looked at the wannabe god before them.
"What do you mean, you serve me? Like some kind of magic makes you obey the strongest cat in the room? I've never heard of anything like that," Everlastingfire was immediately suspicious of their words but also very tempted. Lucistic and Senescence were famous throughout the Clans for their strength and also had ties to Primal Instinct. Sen especially had sway in that group and having her serve under him would give Everlastingfire an advantage when he inevitably tried to convert them, too. No, he wasn't convinced of their loyalty to him yet, but the prospect had him hooked.
"Well, I guess I'll have you prove it, then. Wanderingwight, go find Fia and make her apologize to me. Leucisticcrow, you can do the same but with Windchaser. You can team up and use whatever means necessary to fulfill this task so long as you don't harm them... much."
Leucisticcrow's tail wagged back and forth in anticipation, "Aye aye tiny boss man!" He said before racing off like a bolt of black lightning.
Just when it felt he had taken far too much time a commotion could be heard in camp, primarily Windchaser's hissing and Leucisticcrow's growling blurring together in a storm of violent seethe. But soon enough Leucisticcrow came back dragging Windchaser's orange tabby fur by the scruff like a dog proudly bringing back a stick to their master. He was covered in scratch wounds and bleeding a little to harshly from one of them along his back. It looked like the only way he had managed to bring her forward at all was from dazing her. Leucisticcrow brought Windchaser forward before dropping her in front of Everlastingfire like prey. His massive paw pushed Windchaser's face down into the earth before gripping onto the back of her head and pulling it up, forcing her to make eye contact with Everlastingfire, "Say you're sorry ♩♫" He said in a sing song voice to Windchaser. His other paw held down her back as his claws drummed playfully against her as though reminding her of what would happen if she refused.
Windchaser let out a hiss when Leucisticcrow pushed her into the ground and made her look at Everlastingfire. She had to play the part for this plan to work so she had to look absolutely furious but yet defeated. With a sideways glare at the black tom, she mumbled, "I'm sorry" to Everlastingfire, though her expression didnt show the sincerity.

Senescence wasn't a cat who smiled. But Everlastingfire would have been smarter to task her with Windchaser, and Lucistic with Fia. Her expression didn't change even a fraction, but she simply offered an accepting shrug, rising with a slow stretch to trot after her brother. By the time she arrived in camp, he was already dragging Windchaser out, and she left him to distract the deity as she slipped away in search of her daughter.
Naturally, she found Fia Cendrillon with her kits, in the nursery. A small, exceptionally rare, smile spread across the Lucifern's face, all but hidden in shadow.
They followed after Lucistic and Windchaser at a steady pace. Fia had the sense to look admonished, perhaps even a bit worried, as she glanced at her mother, though unlike Windchaser, there was no visible injury on her. Yet, anyway.
( hey look it's me!!! I'll get to all my threads someday you may wait a week but I'll get there xD)
Everlastingfire was shocked that Windchaser, who had stood up to Glowstar and even threatened to take over her leadership, was apologizing so easily. He thought that he had given Leucisticcrow an impossible task. Yet, here he was, successfully bringing this fierce she-cat into submission with very little blood spilt. He'd make it a point to personally see to the black-furred tom's wounds, he hadn't wanted his first act as his subordinate to wound him like that, but sometimes growth required sacrifice. The crimson tom's initial expression of surprise morphed into a cocksure grin. These cats were among the strongest and most influential in all of DayClan and he had won them over to the Sun God's side with very little effort. Seems that they were so desperately in need of real guidance that they latched onto his ways like a fish to water.
"Thank you, Windchaser. But before I let you go... please specify exactly what you are sorry for," Funk had slipped into him just a little bit. The sadist who liked to watch others drown a little bit. He did a pretty good job of suppressing that quality but right now that was a tall order given that he'd never been groveled to.
Next Everlastingfire turned his attention to Sen and Fia. This was a lot more peaceful, but he had expected that, given that they were mother and daughter. It's why he had paired them instead of the other way around. The only problem was that he didn't truly understand what it was like to have a real parent, didn't think for a second that this could backfire. He'd assumed a lecture from parent to child would be the best way to force someone into compliance. If he thought for two seconds and applied it to himself, of course, even he would realize the flaw in that logic, "Fia Cendrillon, you too. Confess and apologize."
What? She had to explain? Windchaser snarled, a look of hatred on her face. "Yes, your royal pain. I apologize for fighting against you and...for throwing a crow at your head..." The last part was rushed and mumbled but audible as she turned her gaze away spitefully. Windchaser was like a wild mustang and Everlastingfire was a cowboy trying to break her. Though, he may think she was broke but just when he thinks he can ride her, she's going to throw him.
"Something about this seems ingenuine... but I'll take it. You can let her back up now, Leucisticcrow," Everlastingfire was't sure why he accepted such a half-hearted apology but given the fact that he hadn't expected one at all certainly had something to do with it, "Since you did such a good job, here's a reward for you." The crimson tom pawed a pebble in front of the other tom and tapped it with the tip of his claw. It buzzed and hummed then changed shape right before their eyes into a quarter sized bright gold star. It wouldn't look like this forever, of course, the illusion magic would wear off by the end of the day, but Luc didn't need to know that, "Wear it with pride!"
Leucisticcrow let go of Windchaser, his tail flicked attentively as he watched with interest on what Everlastingfire was making.
He smiled taking the star, "Wow, thanks, when I look at this star I'll remember you fondly. You know, now that Wanderingwright and I can see that you're actually strong and not a whimpering beggar like the rest of DayClan... How about we go to Everbleeds? There's a hidden power StarClan bestowed on DayClan, if you destroy it, you'll be able to give the Sun God all of this."
Now was the test, to see if Everlastingfire trusted him enough to go further away where they could easily ambush him.
"The Everbleeds?" That caught Everlastingfire's attention, almost enough to forget about Fia. He hadn't, of course, but he had gotten enough fulfillment from Windchaser's apology to make up for both of them. Something about Leucisticcrow put him on edge, though. Offering something game-changing like this without any prodding seemed to good to be true. And yet, Luc had been nothing but loyal to him so far. Maybe he could trust him? Well, even if it was a trap, he'd be able to get out easily with the help of Wanheda's powers. He didn't have anything to lose, "Tell me more about this so-called hidden power... how does it work? Why hadn't Glowstar destroyed it yet? While the rest of DayClan drags its feet at least her heart is in line with his. She wouldn't let something like this remain if it interfered with SunClan's success. Does she even know about it?"
