Sweet Tea wrapped her tail tightly around her heavily swollen belly starting out over her garden fence. She had been a loner for most of her life, but when she found out that she was pregnant and the father was no where to be found, she had taken up with a two-leg. They always ensured that she was well fed, and each night she was into their nest to stay warm and allowed to wonder during the day. Her twoleg was keeping her inside longer and longer, much to her displeasure. She had only taken up with for the food and safety, but it seemed that the twoleg was more determined to keep her trapped than ever. As she shook some loose tufts of fur off, the bell on her new collar rang out. She had tried do hard to remove the crazy contraption but to no luck. She sighed glancing between the twoleg's nest and the forest she once called home. She didn't really want to have her kits here, but what choice did she have? After giving birth she wouldn't be able to go out hunting and leave them alone. With no father in the picture it left her in a rather stick predicament.
Umbrahound was out in the forest, hunting. He was oddly close to the two-leg dens but that was where his hunt led him. It wasnt long before he picked the scent up of a kitty-pet. The fowl stench made him gag. He stalked to the edge of the forest until the kitty-pet's silhouette could be seen. He couldnt see who the cat actually was, just the outline. The kitty-pet seemed to have been contemplating on leaving it's fence to explore the forest. He waited patiently for the kitty-pet to make it's decision. Once she decided to place her paws at the edge of the forest, Umbrahound would make his move.
