So in order to help our members get more involved with training threads, the staff thought it would be fun to a create a thread for all of the new mentor/apprentice pairs with a mission to break up the monotony of traditional training threads. You may still create a tradition training thread in addition to this one if you so desire. This is not required for promotion, but I do encourage you to have fun and use this thread as a basis to build a strong mentor/apprentice relationship between your characters.
Your mission: Doctoredpaw[Phantom ] and Newresidence[@turtlenoir ] Last night Buzzingkit never came back to the nursery after being allowed to wander around SunClan's camp. Your mission is to find him, and bring him back before he gets hurt. The problem? No one has any clue where he is, and his scent hasn't been found anywhere outside of camp. Where could the little rascal be?
Doctoredpaw sat outside of the nursery with a scowl on his face, how could they lose a kit in camp and why did he have to be the one to help them find the little runt; surely his skills would be better used for something bigger. "Buzzingkit! You better come out of hiding!" He yelled out for the kit but didn't move from his seated position, grooming his fox patterned coat between calls.
Newresidence exited the warriors' den his tail lashing behind him. Clumps of moss, bracken, and feathers clung to his long auburn fur. He gave his pelt a little shake sending clumps of moss and bracken flying in different directions. The feathers didn't come off his fur easily. He pulled them loose from his pelt and spat them out on the ground. Behind him the warriors' den was in a semi disastrous state. The nests had all been disturbed in Newresidence's search for the missing kit. He wondered how the nursery had lost the kitten in the first place. He looked for his apprentice who so happened to be his younger brother. He found the young tom sitting outside the nursery in a seated position grooming his fur occasionally calling out the kitten's name. "What do you think your doing?" He hissed through clenched teeth.
The apprentice flattened his black ears against his bright orange head as his mentor and brother hissed at him. "I'm watching the nursery in case the little brat comes back, you can see cant you?" It was a poor excuse, but it wasnt too far a stretch from the truth, if the kit knew what was good for him he would return before Doctoredpaw had to go and find him. "Why cant the queens look for him, they're the ones who lost him in the first place." He growled.
The mentor listened to his apprentice's excuse. His auburn ears flattened slightly when Doctoredpaw complained about the mission being a job for the queens. "There are many knew kittens this spring(new-leaf?) the queens have their paws full with all the new kittens. Littlestar is the High Priestess of Sunclan and she asked used us to look for Buzzingkit. Its not normal for a kitten to go missing over night. Our camp has many tunnels, cliffs and places where he could be at. He could have gotten stuck or fallen somewhere and gotten injured. This is also good practice to work on your tracking skills." He snapped back at his apprentice.

[BTW, Buzzingkit slipped through a small whole in the braken and crawled under it all towards the waterfall in their camp. Tag me when you get close Phantom, @turtlenoir]
Doctoredpaw rolled his eyes and got to his paws, shaking his pelt. "Fine, let's find the little rat." He took in the scents around him carefully, his mind still plagued with angry thoughts, Buzzingkit wouldnt ever forget this and he would make sure of that. "I've got his scent, seems like he went this way." He started to follow the smell, not bother to give his brother another glance.
