So in order to help our members get more involved with training threads, the staff thought it would be fun to a create a thread for all of the new mentor/apprentice pairs with a mission to break up the monotony of traditional training threads. You may still create a tradition training thread in addition to this one if you so desire. This is not required for promotion, but I do encourage you to have fun and use this thread as a basis to build a strong mentor/apprentice relationship between your characters.
You Mission: Jetpaw[racer] and Sparrowflight[Cleaver] wake up floating in a lake with no shore in sight with just the two of them stuck out there. Apparently over night there was a flood in SunClan, and Jetpaw managed to save Sparrowflight. It's time to show off your survival skills and try to make it back to land.

Jetpaw watched with a bemused expression as her new mentor began to snow. She lowered one paw into the cool water, swiping aimlessly at the fish that were swimming below. She had only been trying to help, but it seemed that now the two of them were stuck in a rather.... difficult situation.
However Jetpaw wasn't the type of cat to let things keep her down. If they were going to be stuck together, it meant that the little she-cat would have time to practice the super secret move that Sparrowflight had shown her as a kit. She moved over, sticking out her tongue and dragging it along his exposed belly and up towards his cheek
With a deep snorting-snuffling sound, he stretched out in his sleep, kicking up a back leg to scratch a phantom itch. As she began to lick him he wiggled again, his head spilling back against the ground and his jaw parted as he mumbled sleepily, "Now, honey?" Without opening his eyes, he twisted to absently nuzzle beneath her chin.

Jetpaw grinned, it was working!!!! As Sparrowflight squirmed under her, she knew that she was getting close to the reaction that she had seen that day. She just needed to keep going and pushing the envelope before he realized what was going. He paws gently kneded at his chest, her tongue pausing behind his ears when she noticed his groan as she focused on that area. She didn't answer him at first, not wanting him to realize that it wasn't Mistyrose sharing his nest
He grunted, appreciating the attention and returned it, licking her gently, but it was strange. This wasn't his mate's precise loving technique, and reluctantly he squinted up at her to make out the apprentice's blurry shape. For a second he merely stared into her eyes, uncomprehending, before it finally clicked. "Gah!" Sparrowflight yelped, showing her off with his forepaws and rolling the other way, spitting and wiping off his tongue with his paw. "Jetpaw! What are you doing?!"
