Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
It had been a pretty good day, up until that point. Largelight still wasn't entirely confident in her warrior abilities just yet, but was starting to feel really comfortable about her place in Summerclan. With a bright blue sky above her, and the joy of catching a bird - a real bird! - on that morning's hunting patrol, the former kittypet decided to take the afternoon wandering in her favorite part of the territory; the wildflower meadow, now covered in colorful buds soon to be in full bloom. As she strolled along, the buzzing of a bee near her ear distracted the cream feline. Annoyed, Largelight sat back with a growl, batting at the creature, watching it dart out of range of her paw before returning. The she-cat hissed, even more frustrated, and took another swipe. The bee was angered, its wings buzzing even more loudly, as it suddenly started to go after her. Immediately she spun around and fled from the furious bug, deeply regretting her actions and rethinking her entire life's decisions up until that moment.
Lightpaw and Thistlepaw were out in SummerClan's territory. While Thistlepaw was a garden keeper apprentice and didn't leave the camp that often, she didn't enjoy being cooped up and took any opportunity to leave. Lightpaw had finished her training for the day already so the apprentice had offered to let Thistlepaw accompany her outside the camp. The two of them wandered along aimlessly, just enjoying each others company and being outside in the fresh air with no duties for the time being.
Lightpaw heard something in the distance and she stopped short, holding her tail up for the other she-cat to be still. "Quiet for a moment," she said, ears perked up. It sounded like something was running. Instantly, the apprentice stood in front of Thistlepaw, determined to protect her from whatever danger was out here. Instead of a fox or other fearsome foe, the brown and cream she-cat was surprised to see... Largelight? Why was the warrior running toward them? Lightpaw's fur stood on end in alarm.
Thistlepaw crouched behind Lightpaw, ginger tail flicking with adrenaline. Her first trip out of the camp in a while was proving to be interesting already.
"B-b-bee!" Largelight yelped, running through the field as fast as her paws could carry her plump frame. However, the angry little bug was persistent, refusing to give up the chase if the loud hum of it's buzzing behind her was anything to go by. Noticing the forms of two clanmates just a few fox-lengths away, she swerved towards them, hoping that the pair of apprentices could save her from the unfortunate fate of being stung. Though...she wasn't exactly sure how they could actually do that. Instead, she helplessly ran in circles around Lightpaw and Twisterpaw, the bee following right on her tail all the while.
The two apprentices watched as the warrior ran around them. Lightpaw laughed and went, "Just a silly little bee?" at the same time as Thistlepaw hopped up in alarm and began running as well. Lightpaw found herself in the midst of two she-cats freaking out while she stood there shaking her head. The apprentice hunted around for something sweet to lure the bee away with.
Cliffdrop was basking on a small rock in the meadow, he often came to this place to retreat when his thoughts became too much for him. The quiet was interrupted suddenly by the incessant pounding of paws and yowls of "BEE!" He furrowed his brow in annoyance, he was already not having the best day and now his peace was being broken by some cats scared over an insect. Jumping off the rock and shaking his fur off he glanced over the flowers to see the three cats. Huffing, he padded over, "can you all take care of this quick, i'm tryin' to rest."
Lightpaw shot her head up at the appearance of another cat. "Cliffdrop," she said, relieved to see another calm face. "Hi, sorry. I'm looking for a flower or something that I can wave at the bee. Maybe that'll stop it?"
Thistlepaw raced around Lightpaw and Largelight, trying not to crash into them as she avoided the stinging insect. "That'll never work!" she yowled, voice changing pitch as she ran further and closer. "Just bop it outta the sky or something!"
Cliffdrop looked at Thistlepaw with pity, hoping that the apprentice would grow out of this fear of small bugs, at least Lightpaw had enough sense to not be afraid. He wanted to see if Lightpaw could take care of the problem herself, there was never anything wrong with having an apprentice do a task, after all, they were in training. "Try that," he looked at Lightpaw and stepped back waiting, he could always step in but he had a feeling she could handle it.
"I didn't realize bugs could be so angryyy!" Largelight squeaked in alarm, though found herself pushing the terrified apprentice ahead of her as they ran. Her eyes darted between Lightpaw and Cliffdrop desperately. "I don't care what you do! Just get rid of it! PLEASE!"

Dustfeather had been hunting a bird just before all the activity had started. He was just about to spring when the ruckus frightened the bird into flight. With a snarl, he came over to see what was causing all the fuss. At first it looked like a warrior and an apprentice were playing a silly game while another apprentice and Cliffdrop were watching. But then he saw the cause of the commotion and rolled his eyes and shook his head in disgust. "What is SummerClan coming to with warriors and apprentices afraid of bees? What would you do if an enemy threatened you? They could cause you worse damage than a bee ever could."
Lightpaw listened to Cliffdrop, deciding to take care of the problem by knocking the bee down. She was about to begin chasing after it when Dustfeather approached. "Don't worry, Dustfeather," she said, eyes determined. "I'm not afraid." With that, the brown and cream apprentice threw herself into the chaos, going round and round after the bee. While Thistlepaw was getting jostled by Largelight, Lightpaw was batting at the bee, missing every time. How in the name of StarClan did it always manage to thwart her? She chased the bee all the way over to Dustfeather, and the apprentice found herself crashing into him as she reached for the angry insect. It was insane that none of them had been stung yet.

"Hey!" Dustfeather yowled. "Watch where you're going." He had been knocked to the ground but he rolled over and regained his feet quickly. He could see the bee still buzzing around and he shook his head ruefully. "Just leave it alone and it'll eventually go away."
