Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. Hi! I'm Audrey and technically a new member but I've been here before with my like, 2-3 ish accounts that you probably know (like, obliviate- and petrichør I think) but yeah, gonna give some characters a new shot I haven't RPed in like, years-ish and I mostly did human RP so you're going to have to bear with me if I make some dumb mistakes like using years to describe a smoll kitten rip
I've made two characters so far, but I'm open to adding more!
EXISTING CHARACTERS:
RHIANNON - MoonClan cat who just joined. She's a traveler with her brother, Hywel, and she's fascinated by their stories and legends (as they remind her of the ones her mother told her as a kit) and she's searching for the secret to immortality. She's clever, patient, and ambitious.
Some ideas:
She's not really looking for a lot of romantic plots unless you're okay with her possibly never falling in love. She's 'married to her work' per se and even if she might have feelings for someone, she'd never act on it because she knows that everything is temporary. She's not the kind who'd die for you or to give up things for anyone (except maybe her brother because he raised her)
At some point I want to explore her background. She's originally a scottish cat (idk where classic takes place TBH) and she lived in a community of village cats before she left at six months with her brother who was from an older litter. She assumes it's because it was dangerous there; there wasn't enough food and they blamed her for being a bad omen, and she was afraid they'd kill her. Only Hywel knows what really happened throughout her childhood, so they have very different interpretations of their old homes. Hers is much more naive and his is much more realistic. Eventually she's going to find out just how much he's been lying to her throughout the years.
She's also obsessed with the idea of living forever, so it'd be interesting to see how far she'd go when she realizes that leaders practically can die and come back to life. Also might be cool to get some weird witchcraft-y plots owo
HYWEL - MoonClan cat who just joined. His sister is Rhiannon and he's very protective of her. Other than that, he doesn't really take anything too seriously, is quite laid-back, one of those 'talented but lazy' types. Only thing he really understands is that everything is temporary. He has secrets in his past he doesn't talk about.
Some ideas:
Totally down for flings but he's gay™ and a mess™ and he will probably overshare a lot or none at all when he's into someone. Idk I assume he'd be a flirt but like, in a cheeky sort of way. He's not too particular whether they're flings or relationships.
Again, he and Rhiannon share a similar background, but he's almost a year older than her, so he remembers their time in the village much more clearly. In his perspective, they had never fit in there and it wasn't a happy kithood at all, but he's lied to Rhiannon about it since they left. In reality, the night they left, Rhiannon was asleep and their father, who had always been aggressive, had tried to kill the kitten because he blamed her for their mother's death, and he had committed the unspeakable, and fled from their home, telling her that their dad sent them away because it was dangerous back home. I want to sort of develop this thread eventually lol idk how tho.
He's nice and seems like a caring sort, but he's also someone who doesn't let his walls come down. Could do something interesting with that, like either this becomes a problem for a relationship where he can't read them and doesn't know how to react, or the other thinks he's been faking everything all along, or it could be a plot about trying to break those walls down idk.
Yeah not gonna lie I have no idea where they're going but woooooo hope it goes somewhere!
Other characters I planned on making include:
Pygmygold (he used to be in FallClan so maybe there?) - awkward small tom who's quite scrappy and has 100000 things to say at all times if only he could find a way to string those words into a coherent sentence for everyone. He's fun and hardworking and trying to be responsible but he feels like he's just a smoll child™
Silverspectre - a mute cat from Frozenfray's lineage who's generally really observant, not much of a talker and therefore, he kind of develops his own way of communicating with others he's close to
Sunkensaturn - idk I like the name tho lol

i've got lioningsnarl, a dayclan cat who is an arrogant absolute pain to be around, maybe we could do something with him? like the first plot with riha, they could meet she can beat him up in a border fight or something idk and he can start to fall for her, thinking she feels the same, and then figure out she Doesn't?
Silverstreak With the moon comes peace and, with peace, comes balance. Silverstreak is the epitome of calm. Very rarely, he will lose his temper. He believes that patience is a virtue one should strive to achieve. He's respectful to anyone and everyone he surrounds himself with, no matter the age. His bright emerald eyes are calm, but very observant of what goes on around him. Although he may not speak his mind often, he is very aware. Inheriting most of his physical traits from his father, an Ocicat, Silverstreak is a slender, silver tom with black spots that run along his spine and splatter across his body.
Snowpaw A big white tom with light gray points and pale blue eyes. He acts very mature for his age and shows a lot of promise as a fighter. His fur is unusually thick and very soft but he doesn’t like being touched very much. Although he's the youngest sibling but acts like the oldest. Because of this, he views himself as the only one capable of leading the family, occasionally bossing his older brother, Hollowground, around. Snowcloak recognizes Onewish is quick-tempered and does his best to calm her down whenever she's in an irritated state. Whirlpaw is probably One of a handful of cats he truly gets along with, but that's not to say he doesn't love his other siblings equally. He lives by the traditional MoonClan values but tolerates the new leadership better than most of his family. There are some aspects of clan life he doesn't agree with but once he's older, he will be able to change them.

I feel like Rhiannon and Silverstreak might get along because they both have that shared understanding that patience is a virtue? Like they could both be aware of each other and their ambitions or traits, and maybe it could be interesting if they had like, idk different values? for them to try to influence each other to agree to something that they wouldn't because they both know how to play the long game? Could be a fun rivalry/banter kind of relationship there!
On the other hand, Snowpaw I feel like could be interesting with either of the siblings in the sense that the two of them aren't exactly full believers or anything, they're just kind of faking it until they make it sort of thing, and with Snowpaw being kind of like not a full believer in the new MoonClan, it could be fun having them sort of vibe each other out and realize they all have different ideas of what MoonClan is/should be or something? I feel like we probably would need to RP first to get a feel for the characters but I feel like there's potential for them to develop something interesting or to have a cool adventure o:
Lavellan: I currently have Silverspectre in FallClan and he has a tentative plot, but I also have Pygmygold! Pygmygold is just a nervous boi™ who's scrappy and independent and hardworking and rambles a lot. Not sure if I want to keep him in FallClan or move him around to one of the other Mountain clans yet, but do you have any characters you want to use?
Silverspectre is a mute tom who kind of just tries to blend into the background and he's originally from WinterClan (low key I never got to play him but I liked his name LOL he's one of Frozenfray/star's kids), but he left when he was an apprentice.
Pygmygold, I'm not really sure what I want to do with him yet! I haven't really thought him through at the moment but if you have any characters or plots you want, we could brainstorm! If not, we could do a few threads and maybe get a feel for the character? idm
achromatic That sounds good to me! I'm down for either (or both) of those ideas. I've only rped with Snowpaw once as of right now so hes pretty flexible with what I can do with him

We could just start a couple of threads with them interacting, see how they vibe together, and go from there! I have an open thread for Rhiannon & Silverstreak we can use:
