Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Spread across the punishment district grounds was a long strip of white paper and colorful small cups of children safe paint spread out. Ever since Duskslayer taught her about the magical world of painting and seeing his beautiful pictures she had felt inspired to do the same. of course the only color she could naturally use was pink and then a little bit of grey for shadows. All day she had been asking for cats to come in so she could paint them a pretty self portrait. Lucistic was the last to come in. Unfortunately he was an all black cat and as it turns out anything you mix with black just turns to black.
Innocentia tore off the end of the paper where she had drawn Lucistic's painting which was still soaking wet and place it in Lucistic's jaws, "Here you are, enjoy!" She squeaked with a happy fast wave of her paw splattering paint in a few directions from the pink paint at the end. Innocentia leaned back, "Ahh, another satisfied customer."
When Funk was going to walk in Lucistic moved around him carefully to avoid getting any paint on Funk. However Funk could spot that Lucistic's painting was really just a giant black splotch with two triangles as ears.

Okay, so maybe today wasn't the day to check up on Punishment.
Funk never really needed to. Innocentia did her job and he just cycled prisoners to her. Even the days she goofed off never bothered him, least she wasn't Senescence or Lux. So, when he slipped by Lucistic with his painting of a black cloud, he really didn't pay much mind. Other than letting a smirk play on his lips as he passed the hunter, he really didn't say anything. Not till he stepped on the papers scattered across the ground. "Ah, I see. Extreme floor is lava for the prisoners. Lose your step, stick their paw in boiling water. Like it." Funk purred, making a point to not walk on the paper. "You're making this way too easy on them though."
"Not a bad idea, but nope! I'm just having fun painting, Duskslayer taught me how and now I get to create portraits of everyone," Innocentia purred before turning to Funk E'tan with a sheepish smile, "You would look suuupery dupery cute and handsome if I painted you! You could probably have a hawk sitting on your shoulder proudly. Maybe sitting on a throne," She said, considering each idea out loud before breaking out of her trance, "Oh, but of course I can go do my job now if you wish," She said rolling up her paper, "I understand I am being nothing short of a slacker, I'm so sorry."

(in pain today but i wanna knock these replies out so I'm sorry they're short)
Fun painting huh. He was almost too distracted by the papers to notice the variety of dollar store paints on the floor. Colors beyond their spectrum that now blended together were everywhere. It explained Lucistic's black blob with a spike. He came back when she mentioned her duties and let out a sigh. "Relax, you've done more consistent work than Lux or Sen could dream of." Granted, Punishment wasn't as labor intensive as the other districts. But they had a good group of prisoners well kept an eye on. "You've earned the break. Just don't let this slip out. Last thing I need is one of them busting me for being a hypocrite." The Nemesis added with a wink. Not that he thought he got on their case too much, it was still a sentiment he heard.
Innocentia's eyes sparkled as Funk E'tan winked at her and let out a cute squeal, "Aw, you're really cute, aren't you?" She asked in a sing song voice, it sounded like a question more than a rhetorical response. But nonetheless began wiping the paint off of her paws and onto the paper, "Would you like a portrait of yourself? Oh! Here I'll show you what designs I can give you," She said cheerfully in her typical childish high voice as she batted a long strip of white paper over to her. She pointed to each drawing as she spoke, "I can give you freckles, a ladybug, this ones an apple, I can put that one on your head. Oh or a crown or maybe flower around your ear. People really like the flower around their ear because I tell them to like it. Which would you like?"

"Yeah, just don't let it get out." Funk laughed before following Innocentia and listening to her speak on what she could do. Nodding along every now and again, his focus was more on trying to see the apple and the ladybug in the pictures. They were more blobbish than anything, not that he was any sort of art critic. "I see, I see." He said, even though he didn't see. "Then I'll take a flower behind the ear and whatever else your creativity leads you to."
Innocentia's eyes lit up, "Perfect! You have such a great face for my works of art, this is going to be the best one yet!" She promised.
Lucistic stumbled back in, his back and shoulders bleeding hard, "Prisoner experiment 40 is not a go. Everyone downstairs has gone insane and it is infectious so we're going to have to burn it all down and start over."

What high praise. Funk couldn't help the smirk on his face. "I'll be holding you to that." He purred, though he still expected a large spot like Lucistic's. Except his would be brown. Which may be worse. But oh well, he wasn't gonna mess with an inspired artist. He only had a chance to take a few steps away, trying to find a spot to pose in the midst of all the papers and paints when Lucistic came bursting back in. Funk didn't move to help him right away, the injuries fairly minor to what he's seen Lucistic with before.
"Experiment 40, huh?" He pondered briefly before his eyes lit up. "What a success. The virus is even more contagious than I could have hoped for. Good work." Funk purred, all too happy with the results. And this was the perfect chance to test the medicine on Lucistic. "It'll spread to the others which is a shame, but that's fine. We'll get this under control then I'll stitch you up. Usual, no anesthesia or pain killers, right Luc?"
"Mhmm!" Innocentia replied cheerfully as she dipped her paw into the paint and began to swipe around on the paper.
"But it's not the way we wanted it to work. We all agreed that it would be a zombie bite infection and everyone would think it was rabies and start killing their clan mates. But instead this disease is airborne. We too closely replicated Blakely's lab prints, we've just reproduced her virus. Because it's all underground that entire area might be infected for years if we don't attempt to air it out, but if we do we don't know how much that bad air can spread," Lucistic explained talking fast.
"Did you inhale it?" Innocentia asked, boredom dripping in her tone as she barely gave him a passing glance. Her paw continued to glide over the paper as she looked back at Funk E'tan for reference before continuing her work.
"Oh yeah, definitely, I am on an adrenaline high, it's a side effect with certain blood types. I think I could kill 20 people right now or eat like on hundred mice or talk forever," Lucistic said, his paws twitching slightly.
"Well I am sad that it's not infectious through a bite," She said while adding in the darker stripes to Funk E'tan's picture.

Funk glanced over at Innocentia before focusing on Lucistic. His claws clicked against the floor as he thought. Even at the thought of the fumes spreading past the underground lab, he didn't move from his spot, his pose for the proxy's picture still strong. "True. Shame the rabies thing won't work anymore. But, this does open the door for more, hmm, interesting possibilities." The Nemesis laughed, ideas already blooming in his mind. Airborne was already difficult to diagnose, pinpointing a source would be even harder. Blakely had made a silent killer. How fun. "Well, let's put that energy to something a bit more helpful. We can air it out, though there holds the possibility cats could catch it and develop an immunity. Did Blakely write anything down about how to stabilize it?"
Lucistic thought back to Toxicity, "Well she never wrote it down because she wanted her clan to stay sick. Other clans were too afraid to invade when there was an invisible killer. No one would even go near a Toxicity cat, they were quite literally toxic to others. She saw it as a power and never wanted to write down the weakness. However everyone was cured by a tree that grew out of a little rock in the lake. Because the territory was very cold ice would form at night on the lake and you could walk up to it and grab the remedy off the branches."
Innocentia's continued her drawing adding in the final stripes before moving onto the eyes, "Toxicity cats were all outcasts, hardly anyone was family so they all had varying blood types. The virus reacted differently to each blood type. So maybe if it hurt Primal Instinct it wouldn't be as bad because our blood types wouldn't be as spread out as Toxicity's were," She theorized as she began mixing colors to get Funk's eyes right.

“Not a horrible plan. Though I wouldn't hesitate to call it boring.” Funk shrugged, still trying to stay still for the painting even though he was ready to get going. If you wanted to stay isolated, it was good. But Funk was a bit too much of a social butterfly to try and isolate his clan. Even with the huge territory, he had a feeling they were already getting a bit stir crazy.
“As much fun as it would be to throw the dice on that, best not to take our chances. We could have those bad blood types and not be aware till it is too late.” The Nemesis pondered. It wasn't like they had blood samples to compare. And now they supposedly didn't have a way to neutralize it, just a general cure.
“So, a tree that grows in cold climates...” His tail thwapped against the ground as he thought. It was the middle of summer, and that didn't help. “You sure it was the branches and not the cold weather that cured it?”
Lucistic thought about it a bit, "I thought it was the plant... Blakelystar was a bit of an illusionist, she let you believe you solved a problem, when you didn't. Maybe the entire thing was all a lie and there was something else that cured everyone, I'm not sure."
"We don't need to," Innocentia said confidently before finally looking up from her painting, "You were Blakelystar's experiment, you survived everything she injected you with so your blood is likely the antidote," She said before adding some finishing touches to her work, "Guess it's a happy day to know you get to be cut open."
"I guess, being cut open isn't really torturous," Lucistic said, he had standards after all.

"We're the same, then. Kept getting injected with things till we can't get that sick." Funk pondered to himself, maybe disappointed he couldn't test anything new on Lucistic. No one was quite as willing to get jabbed with needles like Luc was, but he'd find someone. Really, Inno would. "You've built up the antibodies for it, but there's still other issues. Your blood won't mix with others easily, it seems the body will reject things that aren't similar to it." He wasn't too nervous, yet. Unconsciously, he picked at a piece of paper below him. "If we could isolate it, we could make a vaccine. Though there's a slight issue in that none of us have thumbs... or the proper equipment to do such a thing. Maybe burning it out is our best bet."
"... Or we could just cause a cave in on that some of the prison area and leave them all to die?" Innocentia suggested.
"It could work as a temporary solution, if it comes up again we'll have an antidote next time," Lucistic said aloud in a lazy tone, already seeming at peace with the idea of burying the prisoners rather than making it his problem any further.

Funk held back his sigh. The easiest route was always the laziest here. He should have expected it by now, but it didn't stop him from fidgeting with the edges of his ears. "Alright, alright. You two can have your cave in. Not like those other experiments are going any better. I bet Senescence knows where some explosives are... eh, it's easier to ask Agamede."
"Cave in! Cave in! Cave in!" Innocentia squeaked in excitement.
Lucistic grinned at Innocentia, but now that they had a solution he was allowed to lower his guard as he looked more tired. Between the league and DayClan it was hard to manage. His family moved into DayClan so they wanted to spend more time with him, which was great. But the other issue was that he was a Maverick and had an Imperial to impress. He had to wake up early, which meant staying out long nights in the league made things harder. He let out a yawn, "I'll take care of it and by take care of it I mean asking Agamede to, you two have fun though."
Innocentia turned around the portrait to reveal Funk's, which was really just a massive smudge on the page because the colors weren't mixing well, "Tah dah!"
(We can end it here, I'll make another rp with Funk, Inno, and Misty this time!)
