Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Autumngossamer had looked anxious ever since coming to DayClan, but anyone in SunClan would be able to say she looked far more relaxed than she did in her home land. She had taken every precaution to not become pregnant only for it to be tampered with and for the person she looked up to the most to say that this was a part of the punishment for what she did in NovaClan. Now there wasn't a shred of love left for the Sun God and there was no way she was going to trust anyone in SunClan to help her through the birthing process. Sure she would go back because she loved the manipulative game, but pregnancy was her weakness and fear. She wasn't going to allow SunClan to see her this beaten down and humiliated. For as cheerful and good, and barf as DayClan was... They were cheerful and good people she could count on. They didn't manipulate or fake anything, she could comfortably give birth knowing there wouldn't be any judgment and only unconditional love and patience.
She grew up in DayClan and while back then she was cruel to every DayClan cat she was a little bit better to them. Especially because they were allowing her to stay despite how rocky SunClan and DayClan's relationship had been as of late. She had made up with Windchaser, already knew Fia, but she had never really known Goldenphantom too well. Or at least she thought she didn't know her until she found out that Goldenphantom was the grown up version of Goldenpaw, the apprentice stuck in a cage with her back when the two-legs were kidnapping cats. Sure she could have predicted that by her name, but she would have never imagined Goldenpaw growing up to be a deputy of a clan.
"Hey Goldenphantom," Autumngossamer said, walking up to her. Her belly wasn't swollen or terribly big which was either a sign that she was still in the early phases of pregnancy or she just didn't have a massive litter.

Goldenphantom had attempted to push that time out of her mind, out of her life. Now, there were times she could barely remember how they even got out of those cages alive. How, despite it all, nothing had really happened to her despite how many needles were stuck into her. Really, she had been trying to deny her past for a long time, it was boiling up inside her. So, when Autmngossamer showed up one day, it sort of rocked her world. The once scared apprentice, now strong Immortal Council had still spent time trying to avoid the Soothsayer.
But she was called out to, while just walking around in camp. Fia told her what she needed to know about Autumn, which was nothing good. Though she liked to think the best in people, it was clear on her face she really didn't know what to say to her once cage mate. "Hi Autumngossamer, how are you doing?" Once, Autumn was only a hair taller than her, now Golden was one of the largest members of Dayclan. Even if she appeared small next to Wanderingwight and Leucisticcrow.
"Awful, the Sun God decided he could just forcibly impregnate she-cats like the pig God he is so after I made him vow to never do that again my husband wanted to keep the kits so here I am. Pregnant. My absolute worst nightmare come to life cause it's karma catching up to me. I mean don't worry, I love the idea of a family, it's just BEING pregnant that I hate. Anyways, what's new with you?" Autumngossamer asked in her usual looking for drama bored tone. Her crystal clear claws tapped against each other in a pleasurable clink before meeting Goldenphantom's gaze.

Even if she was somewhat unsure, Goldenphantom listened with rapt attention. With a honeyed gaze that screamed that you had her full attention. It took very little for her to dislike the Sun God, especially after all that drama with Sunclan. This was just another check mark. One that she couldn't help but scowl at. "What a despicable god." She ended up agreeing with a huff before realizing she should probably be a little encouraging. "Well, this is only a small part to the future of having a family." The Immortal Council member was glad Autumn didn't at least want to cast these kits to the wayside. Just like she had been. When the conversation turned to her, she lightly dug her claws into the ground. "I wish it was more interesting. I have the feeling Fia is planning something but she won't tell me what. It normally doesn't take much to make her open up so whatever it is must be serious."
"Oh! Maybe it's a cute romantic surprise then, whenever Lovesmitten is secretive I know it's a big romantic gesture. Honestly I owe him so many nice things for all he does for me," Autumngossamer blushed, "Anyways, I am working this kitten weight off the moment these kits come out. Okay maybe not like, the moment, obviously I gotta be there for them, but like, y'know when the moment is appropriate," She giggled, she seemed within the short amount of time of talking with Goldenphantom in a better mood. It was nothing short of a relief to talk to someone who she knew wasn't trying to lie, manipulate, expose, or humiliate her. If she was back in SunClan she knew her mental health couldn't be poorer. "Would you maybe like to maybe go on a walk or something?"

A romantic surprise? It wasn't unbelievable to think that Fia would be planning something. But she was normally so straightforward and rushed into everything. Golden would figure that she'd get too excited and blurt out the secret. Maybe that was why their conversations have been so shallow as of late. Still, that just made her more curious, and a little afraid. Just what kind of thing would Fia try so hard to hide? The thoughts buzzed around in her mind, and she didn't catch all of the rest of what Autumngossamer was talking about. The words 'kittens' and 'weight' came through, and she tried to piece things together without looking like she completely missed the conversation. It was too easy to see Autumn in the light of someone who just needed someone to listen, and a shoulder to lean on. And Golden was good at easily letting herself become support. "Of course." Maybe she agreed too readily, "Lovesmitten sounds like a great guy."
Autumngossamer didn't even seem to miss a beat or wonder if Goldenphantom had been listening, "TOTALLY!" She agreed cheerfully, "And yes, he is great, we're just so in tune with one another. Sometimes I'm worried he'll get vaporized by fire from the Sun God. Usually those thoughts come at night so I fall asleep dreaming of all the ways I'd tear the Sun God to pieces for doing that," She laughed as she walked beside Goldenphantom. "Hey so did anything ever happen to you after all those experimentations?"
For her a lot had changed physically about herself after the experiments, but she never actually told anyone about it. The changes didn't bother her too much to even complain about it. Plus SunClan always felt like they were watching her every move she didn't want them to know.

That... was a fear she was not familiar with. It was a kind of sentence that made her glad that Everlastingfire was so thoroughly rejected by Dayclan. Golden already held some fear of someone coming to take revenge of Fia, she couldn't imagine having that in the form of a god. Amber eyes widened a bit at the mention of the experiments. That's right, that's how they knew each other. And of course, some changes were expected because of what they went through. But somehow, she had managed to block those memories. Of nights laying in a cold dark cage just waiting for death to come.
For her, it was the opposite. A lot had changed about her mentally. Some things, she felt she visualized differently. And like every thought felt so real, and they held some sort of power she could only struggle against. "Yeah... a lot." The Immortal Council member finally said, though ultimately not sure where to start.
